"I agree. There is a campground about half an hour away and we can easily get back here if Dan gives you a call. There is a water park there too. Perhaps we visit it tomorrow? If it doesn't rain that is. Possible thunderstorms.
While you drive, I'll type out the conversations." Linda smiled as Lance came inside.

Meanwhile Dan is in his meeting where he gets his good news of being released. They went over his new profile and his new name, Richard Miller. He now has a degree in library science. His job would be in a new town of which he would move to after he gets his new clothes. He was given a Mastercard with $20,000 dollars on it for his new belongings.

Richard was allowed to make one phone call to someone. He dialed the number on the card that he was given and hoped that Lance would give him a lift to the nearest shopping mall.

Lance answered the phone and spoke briefly to Richard. " Yes, I'll pick you up and take you to the nearest shopping mall". After hanging up the phone he told Linda that Dan's new name was Richard Miller and that he needed a ride to the shopping mall.

" Do you want to stay in the room with the kitten and just listen in as I drive him to the shopping mall?" Lance asked Linda " Or.. I can leave you here and come back, the choice is yours"

"I'll stay in my room but pick up something for lunch, ok? I am a bit hungry for a good burger and fries." Linda got up with her laptop so that she could use it in her room.
"You gonna shop with RIchard?"

Lance found a fast food place to the tastes of linda's palette and got them both some food as he drove back. He asked Linda to help feed him as he drove by unwrapping the burger and handing it to him as he drove and place the french fries near the console and set up the drink as well.

Lance was getting to like her quite a bit.

Lance day dreamed that he would add her on as a full partner and call his new office " Lance & Linda private investigations"..." maybe.. "L & L Private investigations" he mused to himself quietly in his head while he watched her out of his side vision.

" Hey... awhh.... Have you ever thought about doing something like this full time?. You know.. what we are going now, stuff like that?. You having a okay time with me, right?" Lance asked Linda.

"Oh, before I forget... I'm going shopping with him so can you help me pick out some things online and describe them to me, so I can find something nice?"

Linda opened Lance's hamburger and handed it to him as she thought a minute.
"It has been very exciting and fun. You are even likable for a typical male. I might after we finished this case. Now what kind of clothes are you looking for? Perhaps a leisure suit? WIth a Polo shirt? Suede shoes..... I'll leave the underwear up to you...... I need a bit more info and I shall have the info by the time we get to the mall. For now I am going to eat this lovely hamburger and fries. " Linda spoke as she unwrapped hers.

Lance smiled at her being helpful. " Thank you" Lance replied as he took the burger. Lance wasn't one for dressy clothes and said that anything that she picked out would be fine. He laughed as the underwear comment as well and smiled.

Linda was looking at the various leisure suits which were dressy yet casual. She decided to just list the items and the store that they were at. She handed the sheet of paper to Lance.

"This is the place where I think that you would find the best bargains and everything at one store. Several suits will be fine because you can get several polo shirts for each suit and a dark pair and a light pair of leather shoes and you will set for quit a while. You could even get a few ties for a more formal look and cotton shirts to wear with the suits for a formal occasion......" she spoke as she looked through the ads on the laptop.

Lance waited for the new "Richard Miller" to get released from the prison.

Lance had Linda "hide" in her room. If and when Richard came aboard, he had him sit in the front seat. Still wearing the ear piece so that linda could talk to him.

Lance waited patiently for the new Mr. Richard Miller to be released.

RIchard was waiting at the door with his few belongings in a suitcase when Lance would arrive. He was so very happy to be able to live as a free man once more.

" Richard Miller " Lance smiled as he walked up to the new man. " Your chariot awaits you" he grinned and lead richard to the front seat. " My wife is sleeping still so we will have to keep it down. The mall is just minutes away and if you need some help, I can help shop with you". Lance offered

"Good to see you again. I didn't realize that you had a wife. Does she travel with you a lot? If you want to come along that is fine with me." he puts his hand out to be shaken. He was smiling broadly and holding a large suitcase.

Lance with a welcome smile invites the new Richard Miller to accompany him in the R.V. as they head for the closet mall. With the guideance and direction of linda LAnce to point richard in the general direction of clothing.

" No, My wife is very shy and agrophobic so it's rare to get her out but sh is slowly coming out of her shell". Lance replied

"I see...... I'll see you in about in about 2 hours at these doors. I should be done by then. Have you ever heard of Sierra Vista, AZ? That is the direction that I will be heading in. I have a job interview there and hopefully I will get the job." Richard asked.

" Sierra Vista, Arizona... hummm" Lance thought out loud. " I'm not sure but I'll ask my wife when she gets up from her migraine". Lance paused for a bit " What kinda of work where you looking to get in Sierra Vista?" lance asked

"Well, there is a small town library that needs a librarian. If I am hired, I hope to work with the young adult section but I'll take anything at this time. Well, I'd better get busy finding the clothes I need to make a good impression. Perhaps you could talk to your wife if she is feeling better. If not, later will do as well." Richard spoke with a smile.
