Tora Hatake

Not paying too much attention to her students small talk as they made their way, Tora quickly found a tree which appeared to have a few branches broken. She quickly came to a stop, and marked to the students to stop as well. She then turned to look at all of them "We are near. It might not be too far from Kirigakure, but that is better. It means that at the case we will need to send for backup, it will be done quickly. As for the person who will join us, she will be here any moment. So, I want to make sure all of you already know the plan well, seeing you all gave me the exact same plan." She said and glanced around for a moment.

Due to the fact there was no sign from her accomplise yet, she sighed and returned her gaze to her students "I want you each to describe properly what is your role and how you intend on performing it, so the others may hear and learn as well, at the case you will ever need to switch roles. This is so you will understand how each person thinks. Takeshi, do not put too much effort into explaning with words. Try to describe more by showing them with this branch." Tora said, picked up a branch from the ground and tossed it to him. She then returned to looking around, wondering where was the woman who was supposed to be joining them shortly.

The Yonbi,

Making them regret.

The attacks of the brave and rallied Amegakure shinobi landed into the mist. The thick mist was expelled and driven back with the many water attacks charging at the mist. But it would reveal one scary fact. The beast that they had targeted there, wasn't where it was supposed to be. Before any of the Amegakure nin could react, the beast attacked. Those inferior humans were going to get it! Their inferior intellect was shown when they decided to simply attack a thick mist that had been made earlier.

Two hands erupted from the water, grabbing several shinobi who had been focusing too much on attacking the mist. Like an angry demon, the giant beast moved out of the water as he started to spit lava as well. Unlucky men and woman that weren't caught and crushed in his hands were hit and taken down by the ferocious attack of the beast. And with the lava hitting the water, it started to cause another steam. It would become evident for those who were smart enough that the beast was likely going to try give them trouble of pin point aim at him while he would move out of the water.

Hiron Hon,
Konohagakure Jounin | Team 9 sensei

''I think that you all three failed horribly.'' Was the answer on Masami's question. Hiron was sitting on a branch, just having finish a rice ball. He frowned at his team and then tilted his head a bit to the right. A grin started to appear on his lips, the only warning they would get before something would happen. While Hiron's trap went into action, he told them one line. ''Think that some punishment will be on its place.'' Before likely any of his team could react the paper lighted up and would deafen them. The flash that was produced, combined with the flash, would likely cause more than just a bit of discomfort. While they were probably surprised, Hiron had his next surprise at the ready.

He aimed senbon, made of lighting, at their bodies, wasn't made to pierce. It was made to give them a horrible shock. With the distraction going on, it didn't matter if they were caught or not. ''You three have failed again. This means that none of you is allowed to go on any missions for quite some time. I am really disappointed in you three. Wasting chakra, risking yourself in a careless manner and losing your cool? Unacceptable!'' Hiron said with a stern voice once he would notice that this students would have recovered from the nasty surprise and shocking senbon. ''Each and single one of you is dismissed. Go home. And do it quick before I will do something worse.'' After saying that, Hiron took another bite of a rice ball while he glared at his students.

Kumogatarui Dobustu

Takeshi's smile and thumbs up reassured her that he was well, as intended. This was mostly due to the fact that so long as the rest of the team were fine, she'd be in safe hands, which was always reassuring. For now she continued to follow Tora, but soon she came to a stop near a tree that had a number of broken branches, they were near to the target? Is that what she was saying?

The thought of being close to the pre-determined prey brought a small chill up Kumoga's spine, they would be working on capturing whomever this man was soon and possibly having to handle missing nin if the information was correct. If it were the case, Kumoga wondered just how well she might fare against shinobi who have gone rogue... That was very concerning for her, if she proved to be capable of fighting with such shinobi and winning, what would happen? What if she failed to defend herself and was captured by them as a hostage?

She needed to stop thinking like that, Tora just wanted them to explain their part of the mission...She could do that, right?

Neither of the other two wanted to explain first, which somewhat left her to take the field first. "Well... we may as well go in the order of what needs to be done in the plan. So with Hatake-sensei's help I will attempt to capture the target. The most likely method I will use is through rapid application of my webbing, and perhaps a clone, to entangle our target, then I will administer a bite to weaken and nauseate him for a short time, tackling his body guards should be easy enough with the jutsu I can use to fire a fully-formed web from my mouth and at a target. It'll wrap them up or forcibly stick them to whatever is behind them and take them out of the action... Does that sound good to everyone? I'm not one hundred percent certain about it, but I think the idea is more likely to work than not." She's now go quiet, looking to the others for their opinions on the matter.

Naoto Shiratori

When Hatake-Sensei stopped, Naoto followed her example, although clumsily, and listened intently to what she said. Kumoga led the discussion, and when she did, Naoto quickly realized that her job would be the hardest to replicate. It would take a lot of improvising to do her job. Naoto thought to herself, not even realizing that she probably should explain her role. She was quickly lost in thought as to what she should do if she were to have to replace Kumoga. If possible, Naoto should incapacitate the guards first, then move on to the target. The first step would be immobilization, but she didn't know how she could go about that in a timely manner. Then interrogation would be next, which she was prepared for. The best situation would definitely be Kumoga keeping her role.

Shinichi Kyousuke - "Lets Go!"

The jounin was rather surprised when instead of comforting the young girl Niji accepted the apology, perhaps this was just because they were friends or maybe she really did think that Kamiria slowed them down. Personally Shinichi felt that she did what she could at her skill level, there was always that chance that she could have done more but he wasn’t going to hold that against her. ”I agree with Niji, taking on more responsibility is defiantly a good thing and will help in your journey to becoming a chunin in due time. Don’t forget though, I’ll be here to help you and Niji every step of the way.” he addressed Kamiria shortly after Niji spoke to her.

Niji and Kamiria both seemed interested in the idea of a mission. It had indeed been a very long time and it was about time to loosen up some rusty gears and get back on the saddle. ”Well Kamiria, I have been eyeing a mission for a few days now. It’s a simple one but I think it’d be a fun way to get back on our feet. As you know from Genkai’s attacks a few nearby cities have been damaged, some of which still haven’t been completely rebuilt. It’s our responsibility as Kumo Shinobi to help these towns out and that is exactly what this mission involves.” Shinichi responded to Kamiria but eventually started addressing both her and Niji.

”Basically” he faced the two of them. ”There is a village about eight or so hours away from us who need help in reconstruction. From what I’ve read about it there hasn’t been any reports of bandits or anything but you both know how fast that can change. It shouldn’t really be that difficult. Just cut a few trees down, help in some big supply deliveries and maybe help with some crops, the usual. I’m sure you’re both skilled enough to take on this challenge.”

Without saying much more Shinichi turned around and began heading off to claim the mission. ”Well come on slow pokes. We got ourselves a mission at hand.” he waved them on and off the trio went. Within ten minutes all the boring paperwork was finalized and the mission was theirs.

”Well it seems as if we’ll be out on this mission for a few days, maybe even a week. I know we’re only going to be a few hours from home but I want you both to pack what you think you’ll need for the first week and then once your all packed up we will meet at the front gate and head out. I’ll cyah then.” As usual without much more warning Shinichi began heading out, this time towards his home to pack. When he arrived he grabbed his basic ninja tools that he always carried and even packed a small meal for the road. Although he didn’t typically carry a backpack he felt it was needed this time for an extended stay.

Within his backpack he packed a blanket, a few extra kunai, an empty notebook with a few pens, a whetstone, a few torches in case they encountered a dark scenario and one single candle in the event he wanted to jot something down in his notebook at night. Once everything was packed Shinichi did one lap around his house, turning off everything, and then made his way outside.

Perhaps it was because he didn’t pack a whole lot of extra gear or maybe he was just faster at packing but Shinichi found himself first at the gate. Now it was just a matter of waiting for the rest of his team.

((Don’t worry, I plan a doing a few extra things during this mission. I know it sounds a lil boring now but give it sometime.))

Akira Kurasawa, Team 6 Assembly

The stern knock at the door roused Akira suddenly. The young man rolled out of his bed and stumbled to the doorway, rubbing sleep from his eyes and almost tripping over his feet. The door opened and he was surprised to see the tall guard holding a scroll out, after he reached out to take the scroll the guard vanished leaving him alone at the doorway. "Erm...Good morning..." The statement sounded more like as question as he looked around to see if anyone else was still around, the only ones to reply were the birds who continued their well practised routine of singing.

Akira shut the door and broke the seal on the scroll with a knife he obtained from the kitchen. After reading over it he grabbed two slices of bread and slapped a piece of meat between them before laying it on the table and taking a bottle of water from a cupboard, this would have to do. As he munched on the hastily assembled sandwich which he held with one hand Akira raced around the small apartment to assemble his gear.

His trusted wooden blade was placed in it's scabbard on his belt, his smaller sword was concealed up his sleeve, his 'bag of tricks' containing his ninja gear was pinned to his belt and finally a back pack containing some provisions was strapped to his back. After wrapping his headband around his head and trying the back into a knot he set off, locking the door to his home and running down the street. Akira was already running late and so he resorted to taking short cuts down alley ways and over the roofs of smaller buildings, eventually he made it to the compound and burst through the dojo doors, panting and standing up straight to give a salute to his sensei. "Akira Kurasawa, reporting for duty!" He blurted out before he'd even made sure it was the right place, he held his salute firm until his teacher, whom he had now spotted, gave him instruction to stop.

Delivering a Message

A collab by Shadowy and Fieryfly

Hisoka was finishing up papers, hoping that at one point the stream of things he had to go through would end. Some how it never did. More work always came. Always. But this time he had good hope that perhaps he could get an afternoon to relax a bit. Then he remembered that that wouldn't be possible today. Something else had been sceduled. The Uchiha sighed as he signed the next paper and got up to put it in one of drawers on his right. Just as he finished putting the file away an ANBU flickered in existance in his office. Slowly Hisoka straightened up and walked back to his desk. "Yes?"

"Lord Hokage, an ANBU from Kumogakure has arrived bearing a message from the Raikage."

Hisoka raised his brow and frowned. What did the Raikage want with him? They weren't enemies perse, but close allies would be an overstatement. He wasn't quite sure what to think of the man. Never the less he replied:"Send him in," as he sat down at his desk.

Chizuko waited paitently, leaning up against a wall in an attempt not to look a bit tired, while one of the Konoha ANBU went to request permission for her to send her message to the Hokage. Not too long had passed which was good, before the ANBU returned and signaled for her to go inside. Pushing away from the wall, Chizuko walked forwards and stepped into the modest office of the Hokage. Seeing the man sitting at his desk, her first instinct was to kneel before him out of habit but instead she gave a short bow before retreiving the scroll from her pouch. She said nothing as she stepped towards the desk and placed the scroll down that was adressed to the man, and returned to the center of the room. She was unsure for a moment if she should stay while he read it and wait for a reply, or leave.

Accepting the scroll Hisoka immediately opened it. For a moment his eyes went over the ANBU, female clearly, but besides that there was not much he could tell. Which was, of course, the whole point of the organization. He wondered if she knew what was in the message. Probably not, or at least not everything. Then his eyes dropped to the piece of paper. As the moved along the words his gaze hardened and when he finished it he was silent for a moment. He rolled the scroll back in and placed it before him.

"I see." He finally said. "Is the Raikage expecting a direct reply of me?"

Chizuko had barely caught the change on his expression, and her curiosity regarding the contents of the letter spiked. Though she knew the reasoning as to why it needed to be sent, she was unaware of what was actually written down. When he spoke to her, it took her a moment to answer since her mind had wandered slightly.

"I was ordered to return as soon as possible, with or without a reply. If you would like to prepare a message in response, I will give it to him." she said simply, and then nothing more.

Hisoka's fingers played with the scroll. "I will have to think about this. Return to the Raikage with the message that I will reply after some... careful consideration of the events. I take it he will understand that." He paused and his gaze shifted to the window. The content of the message was grave and he would have to discuss with the Meisa. Suddenly he looked back to the ANBU. "Will he?" He questioned the ANBU, adding it to his previous sentence. He didn't know much of the Raikage and he found that problematic. The last time a masked man had been sitting on that seat he had been taken over by someone who had nearly killed his friend, not to mention the previous Raikage. He didn't like masked people so much anymore after that. He leaned back in his chair. "What kind of man is he?" He asked, hoping that the ANBU might tell him a bit more.

Upon the Hokage's sudden inquiery about the type of man Takeru was, she found herself growing a bit uncomfortable, shifting her weight from one leg to the other. She had to answer this professionally and not sound like some sort of secret admirer, and she also had to sound honest. She would not be believable if she stated it like it was something read off a slip of paper. So, she took her time thinking of the proper way to answer. After a minute or so, she began to speak.

"I believe he is a man that can be trusted even if his intentions about some things come off as one-sided. Of course he would not rush you into replying, since he seems to appreciate the opinions of others..." she trailed off, hesitating for a moment. "I think he is a good leader who does not throw his weight around uselessly in attempts to become more powerful than others. He treats myself and my fellow ANBU with respect, and has a bit of kindness hidden in him as well." She reached over with on hand to scratch her arm a bit and she smiled, though the man wouldn't see it. "But of course, I am biased a bit. I have worked under and along side him for many years. I have grown to look past his flaws and admire his virtues." Chizuko stopped speaking there, hoping the answer was adequate enough for the man.

Hisoka nodded along with her words. Trust, respect, kindness, valuing the opinions of others. Kind of an expected answer, the definition of a, so called, perfect leader. No ANBU would talk down his or her own leader. That would be silly. However, then she continued speaking and Hisoka's eyebrow raised slightly. She had worked alongside him, meaning on the same level. That was interesting. "Does it bother you?" He then asked. "That he is wearing a mask? That someone who should be the face of the village is shielding himself away?"

"I wonder if you ask this because you are curious, or because of your expirence with the last masked Raikage... 'Would the look on my face make a difference as to how I would lead the villiage...? Would it add anything valuable other than just a face being recognized as the leader...?' That is what he said to me when I asked him if he could trust me with knowing his face. The truth is that I didn't believe it would add such a value, and I told it him it was his actions that I cared about the most." she shook her head then. "So no, it does not bother me." When she had finished speaking, Chizuko wondered if maybe she was being too open with this man... But, this wouldn't be the first time she felt oddly comfortable with a complete stranger. Perhaps it was because she sensed no form of hostility towards her, that she stayed and spoke with him so freely.

"A bit of both you could say." Hisoka replied. He wasn't quite sure, but he believed that she was implying that she had seen his face, meaning she knew who he was. Had he shown his face to more people, to more ANBU or was she somehow special? He mulled over those thoughts. And if she was special then why was she? What kind of connection did this ANBU have with the Raikge besides being a subordinate? "Sometimes a village needs a face to love." He said to not make the silence too long. "A face they can admire. But I guess that what you say is true. Actions will matter more then a face to determine who is a good leader. Thank you for your reply. He sounds like an interesting man." He tapped on the scroll. It was clear that he considered the audience to be over.

Chizuko nodded once when the Hokage was done speaking. "I suppose he's interesting enough. You seem to be quite interesting yourself." Though she got the hint that the conversation was over, she felt she had one more thing on her mind she needed to say. "This may seem a bit odd... but for the record, you have a beautiful villiage. If the circumstances present themselves to where I can come back to visit on a vacation or something, I would jump at the oppourtunity." She gave a short bow then. "Well, I'll be off." Turning on her heels, Chizuko would walk back towards the door where her two escort ANBU would likely be waiting on the other side.

She found Konoha beautiful. Hisoka smiled at that though it held something painful. It had taken a lot to make this village as it was today and to have someone from another village acknowledge that was good. Konoha was beautiful. It was now and hopefully it would be for a long time. Hisoka refrained from thinking forever. Nothing lasted forever after all. "Thank you." He said only, not answering or inviting her to visit again like she suggested herself. Without speaking he watched her go and his attention was drawn back to the scroll. He sighed and realized that the option to squeeze in a couple of hours of relaxing had now effectively been crossed out. No, this was going to be a day of decisions now.

Hoshi Miwa

On to the next step of the plan!

Looking as Ryoku made his move, and the many shinobi followed his and Eiji's orders to attack the beast hidden in the mist, she was sure that she could initiate the sealing in a few moments. But then she noticed the mist was dispersed by the many water attacks, which, in turn, revealed the Yonbi was gone. She looked with wide open eyes all around before the giant hands of the Yonbi came out, sending many shinobi flying and watched, without being able to do anything, as several shinobi were also grabbed by the red hands of the Yonbi.

She bit her finger, wiped the blood on her hand and formed a few seals before summoning an owl, which quickly went and moved to her shoulder. It did a 360 spin with its head, looking all around and understanding that the situation is dire "How can I assist, Miwa-chan?" He asked her in a low voice, and she looked at the scattered around the Yonbi's legs. Hoshi bit her lips, not managing to spot the man she was looking for "I need you to find Eiji-sama and tell him to create as many explosive clones as he can. Tell him to send all clones but two towards the head, and either I will send a fire attack towards the clones to make them explode and distract the Yonbi, or the Yonbi himself will cause them to explode, creating the distraction on his own." She said, and Hotori nodded, before focusing his head on the many shinobi around the Yonbi.

"Tell him to send the two remaining clones to stand next to the Yonbi's legs, from behind. The moment I spot them, I will come and give them the order to explode. This is a mere attempt at making the beast fall down. I need to try and buy as much time as I can for the sealing team to be capable of doing what they need to do. If the beast sees this, it can try and interfere, so I want its attention to be focused on the many shinobi all around him. Any other tactic Eiji can come up with will be good. After you tell Eiji, inform Ryoku of my plan. I will be trying to serve as a distraction as well, and a closed ranged one." Hoshi finished speaking, and Hotori nodded once more before taking off with quite the speed, looking between the faces of the shinobi, attempting to find Eiji Emiya among them.

Hoshi looked behind her with a very serious face "Sealing team, begin the sealing as soon as I take off. Yoshikuni, don't worry and trust them. They know what they are doing well." She said and then quickly took off, going in the direction of the Yonbi.

As soon as she was about 10 meters from the Yonbi's feet, she formed a few seals and then begun running around, knowing that because the Yonbi is a beast made solely from chakra, the genjutsu will take effect, weak as it may be. If the beast is able to see through it with ease or not was a different question, but if she manages to get it to stop its chakra flow, then that will be a bonus. She then held the Tiger seal and begun producing a fire wall around the Yonbi, knowing it will not hold for too long due to the water beneath it, but merely waiting to see if Eiji will recieve her message.

Kimi Iomaski,
Kirigakure ANBU, Rika's Spymaster.

Kimi held a close watch over the group near the Mizukage. She was dressed as a simple civilian, like many of the present ANBU. Eavesdropping on the group, Kimi waited however patiently. She saw little reason to budge in or interact yet. She was waiting for the signal that everything would be ready. Leaning against a wall, she looked the other way, in the direction of the docks. Then the assigned messenger arrived and nodded towards her. The preparations were at the ready. Two ships would sail out after the required people had boarded them.

Walking subtly towards Rika, Kimi kept an eye on the others. ''It is all ready, Lady Mizukage. The ships and crew are ready whenever you are.'' She said, continue to walk a bit past the woman before turning around to wait and see what Rika would do. In her opinion, Kimi thought that how sooner they went, the faster it would be over. And if there was one thing, then it was that she wanted to be done with this. Dealing with shinobi from other villages was one thing, but Bijuu were something that she considered out of her book.

Rika Suzu - Godaime Mizukage

When Chou bumped into Rika's back, the woman casually turned around to face the fallen girl. "There you are," she said rather casually, putting both her hands together. As the girl got back up and started to head over to the boat, Rika put a hand on her shoulder and stopped her. "Next time, watch where you're walking. And I know about your ability~" With that, she released the girl and simply watched as she joined her team on the boat. As Kimi approached her, Rika let out a sigh and adjusted her hat.

"Then we move. We are already behind schedule fifty seconds." A smile crept on Rika's face as she started walking with her spymaster to the boat. "When we get there, the children will immediately realize what is going on. If either act up too much, or if Mika acts up too, subdue them." The smile vanished as she spoke the less-than-friendly words. "It must all go according to plan if we don't want to lose any lives." With that brief command, the two women were on the boat with the other ANBU and Team Hayashi. "Alrighty!" Rika let out, with a slightly higher pitch than her voice normally is. "Now we set sail. It will take a few hours, but don't get too comfortable."
