Hey, quick question. I was browsing some of the character sheets, the tower mages mainly, and a thought occurred to me. All of the tower mages (viet, headphones, and saltwater) are all about the same age, so would they know each other? I mean if they're all tower mages, or at least spent some time in the tower, then they probably would've at least interacted once or twice.Of course I could be completely wrong, as I stated before, due to my schedule keeping me in a state where I'm bound to miss a few details on the slightly slow skims I do for each character. Haven't had a chance to sit down and actually read them in depth yet.

Quite plausibly.

Then he would know of all their guardians too.

Of course. Tegan uses a very precise, agile style of swordplay that utilizes leverage, her advisories' own momentum, and conservation of her own energy. Your character might as well have one foot in the grave, haha.

Excellent. I use a variety of hand to hand disciplines combined with weaponry and explosives. Not to forget stealth-based ambushes. We'll be a wonderful team. You be the bait, I'll be the knife in the back. ^_~

^ I concur.

And you wound me. It's like I don't provide anything!

Although speaking of which, as a Water Mage, do I need water present to work, or could I condense moisture in the air to do my thing? Obviously that wouldn't fly in something like a desert, but aside from dry places I mean.

Hey, everyone. I just recently woke up and it's 9 in the morning [GTM+2]. I'm currently on the phone and won't be able to sit on the computer until later in the evening, some time past 19 o'clock [7 pm], since I have to study for Chemisty and Biology classes and then have those classes XD.

As much as I would like it to be so, Skye would likely know none of the characters, unless they were mages he chased away some time in the past. He studied magic in Ferros and has never gone to the Tower, seeing as Ferros has become hostile towards the order.

.....

=_=

So you're saying you're useless in dry environments. Just like how someone who manipulates fire is useless in the rain.

But you do provide, m'lord! Fret not, I was only in jest slightly at your expense; could you forgive me?

Why would the rain stop a fire though xD The heat will evaporate the drop before it does anything to it. Think of a Pyromancer as being two of the three elements needed to start the Fire: Fuel and Ignition :P Pyromancers would probably have a hard in places where the air is thin with oxygen.

For the question of Salty. I would have to say you could probably create your own source of water, but would take much more energy than if you already had a source of water to play with. It would be the same for a Pyromancer. If there is no fire or no fuel for fire in the area, it is safe to say they can still use their magic but would require more energy and concentration.

Because of a joke in FMA.

That aside! I think Rayn is right. It only makes sense. Magic is magic! And is...er.....magical. Hmm...how is this all going to transpire....

Shit, Brand, you scared me. FYI, my timezone is UTC+8. Not American. Me no live in Americano. Gets?

Name: Darren

Gender: Male

House Name: Blackwater

Age: 36

Appearance: Picture or words acceptable

Homeland: Choose one of the five kingdoms. Also, I use kingdoms and nations interchangeably. Sometimes I'll call it five kingdoms, other times i call it five nations.

Race: Guardian, Mage, Shade, Necromancer or just plain human.

Spells: There are three branches of magic, and multiple schools for each branch. If you are a guardian then you can't use magic anymore. Mages can pick two schools and shades can pick up one.

Bio: Try to make your character history as rich as possible. Throughout the RP i'll probably be drawing from your characters histories to shape the story.

I think they'd know each other, especially since the tower population is rather small. Of course, Emil's been missing for the better part of a year and his family has been murdered.. So they'd likely think emil to be dead as well

Particular question for Guardians:

They have a complete immunity to magic (Including beneficial ones). Is it a small aura-like energy that bends the weaves of magic a few inches off of a Guardian? Is it purely their bodies and not an aura? Is it only contact with direct magic that will be cancelled/rendered useless? Does standing near a mage (even friendly) do anything to them?

I ask this as it will change the dynamic of how Nyirr (And probably other Guardians) fights and handles a situation.

I've considered both guardians having an Anti-Magic aura or just being immune, and I've favored immunity since it would be kind of tricky for a Guardian and a Mage to work together if the guardian nullified them.

Alright. It is going to impact how Nyirr will combat :P And also how he teaches Guardians to defend themselves (Well, used to teach). So I would imagine it would work differently depending on the magic being used. (Blessing, Curse, Illusion, Purification and aall those ones are pretty much useless on them.) Guess it leaves mostly the elemental ones.

Meh, when I'm on the field doing army stuff, I carry 2 canteens each holding about a quart, neither of which are particularly heavy or burdensome at all. So at any one time I'm carrying half a gallon, I imagine that would be enough to do some basic, emergency maneuvers, or like... make a water whip.

Edit: I think half a gallon is only something like 4 pounds
