The Empire of Lancia

Flag
A grey flag with a phoenix in the middle.

Form of Government
Feudal Monarchy

Describe the System
The Empire of Lancia is led by the Kaiser, a position that is hereditary. However the Empire is subdivided into realms, each lead by a leader that resembles the original political system used by the nation that was conquered, as apart of the Empire’s efforts to incorporate conquered peoples rather than oppress them.. The Kaiser in this situation acts like a High King, each of the leaders of the individual realms swearing fealty to him and loyalty to Lancia and the Empire. There is currently 5 Realms, as they follow as such.

Lancia:The original province of the Empire and where it got its name, the Kaiser presides over this realm. It is the largest by land-mass, and holds the most population. The capital is Primus, and by extension the capital of the entire Empire.

Molanska:The first realm to fall to the Lancian armies, its is the 2nd realm of the Empire. This realm is lead by a King, chosen by hereditary means, or if there is no clear heir a new noble family is chosen to ascend to the throne. 2nd largest by land-mass, but it stands at second in population. Due to the nature of the peoples here this realm tends to have the most rebellions and riots.

Venitio: The smallest realm, as it only incorporates the city of Venito and some of the surrounding land and villages, it has the wealthiest nobles as well as the smallest population. This in part due to Venito being a massive trade hub, bringing in most of the Empire’s trade. This section of the Empire tends to have the least revolts, as they care more about making wealth and do not really have the man-power to accomplish any successful uprising. This realm is lead by a freely-elected Doge. However while everyones votes for Doge are equal only nobles of sufficient wealth may make a grab for the position.

Bitola: The 4rd realm of the Empire. It is lead by a Parliament of Nobles chosen by the Realm’s King, however the King cannot pass laws, only the Parliament of Nobles may.

Iberia: The 5th and final realm of the Empire, and one of the two realms to be lead by a democratically elected government. Iberia’s importance lies in its vast mineral mines, which are used to fuel the growing industry and metal-working of the Empire. The democracy of this realm consists of a legislative branch and a Executive Branch. The legislative branch overseas both law-making and setting up courts, while the executive branch contains a President who acts as a overall leader.

Location on Map Desired
The entire eastern peninsula excluding the Iria Queendom and then some.

Capital
Primus, at the center of the Empire. It coordinates a lot of land-based trade and communication channels with the rest of the Empire.

Important Settlements
Venito: On the eastern coast and capital of the Venitio realm. It is very important as it controls more than 90% of all sea-based trade of the Empire. Vastly wealthy.

Warsawia:Capital of Molanska. Large population center and it is on the Western coast and controls the rest of the sea-trade that Venito does not.

Nadrid: Capital of Iberia and located near the Iberia-Bitola border. Acts as a shipping center to sending Iberia’s mineral resources to the rest of the Empire as well a a medium population center.

Description
Due to the Empire of Lancia’s diverse landscape as well as the many peoples that have fallen to their vast armies and well trained soldiers. As such the cultures of Lancia are diverse and varied, and have inter-mixed a bit despite the instance of the Lancian Government to incorporate and not force assimilation.

Culture of Lancia: The Lancians have a warrior culture, producing strong proud men ready to go and fight for glory. Honor is gained through combat, and Lancians rarely used the term soldier for a soldier, they prefer to refer to them as warriors, even if they are the soldiers of another nation. A further reference to their warrior culture is a famous line from a unknown Lancian General, quoted as saying “A Lancian isn’t truly Lancian still he has felt the thrill and rush of glorious battle, and gained honor in defeating his enemies.”

The Lancians prefer darker colors and themes, reflecting on to their paintings, works of literature, music, architecture, and poems. Cities are often shades of grey and black, stories and poems being more gritty and dark.

Women are also not discriminated against, and in most ways considered equal to men. Women are even capable of serving in the military, although not as front-line soldiers. While other cultures in the Empire of Lancia still have traditional gender roles, this part of Lancian culture as translated into policy, forbidding discrimination against women.

Culture of Molanska:The culture of Molanska is one of great variance. Molanskan actually is a over-arching term for a group of various peoples coming from the area. The area is subdivided into so many different ethnic groups that is hard to establish a common culture. This is part of the reason that Molanska is such a rebellious realm.

Culture of Venitio:The culture of the realm is built of of one thing. Wealth. The culture is focused on building and hoarding massive piles of dosh and gold. The buildings of Venito are made of fine marble and lined with thin strips of silver and gold. Venitio also does not have gender roles, believing women to be just as capable of building empires of dosh.

Bitola:Bitolan culture focused on the arts and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. Art and works of literature have no common theme in Bitolan culture, as they often explore a lot of different themes. Architecture is much the same, however it can be described as lay-backed and relaxing.

Iberia:Iberians believe in personal freedom, its a huge part of their culture. While they have lost some of the original freedoms, they have maintained freedom of religion under the Empire. This is thought to be the main reason they have not had a rebellion against the empire in so long.

Nations Name: United Vanjanan Empire

Flag:

Form of Government: Constitutional Monarchy

Describe the System: Leadership of the UVE is passed down to the oldest child of the dead monarch, no matter their gender. The nation's leader is referred to as a "Jade", as the throne in the palace is made out of jade (earning it the name "Jade Throne"). Working with the Jade is the Common People's Representative House (More often referred to as the "Representative House". The Representative House has less power than the Jade, but is able to vote for or against the Jade's decrees and extend such voting periods in the hopes the the Jade will see their reasoning. However, the Jade reserves the right to veto any law passed by the Representative House two times, after those two times the law cannot be voted on until someone involved (Either the monarch or a representative) is replaced by a successor.

Location on Map Desired: The inside bit of the eastern peninsula. You know, the continent’s right armpit.

Capital: Kwedolobhakalle (See map)

Important Settlements:
Stadvguld (Also see map)
Storabryggor (Map)
Håkanstad (You know the drill)
Ragnhildstad (Gee, I wonder?)

Description: Cities in the United Vanjanan Empire are huge metropolises, fueled by the immense wealth brought in by trade. They have an ingenious sewage system, instead of dumping chamber pots out into the streets, houses in the city are connected to pipes that run above the roads. Chamberpots are dumped into those pipes through openings outside of windows, and the wastewater is carried down to a collection point where it is left to evaporate. This tones down the horrid smell present in the cities of other nations, and keeps human waste off the streets. To complement this, there are dedicated street sanitation teams in all major cities that clean up the horse waste that once seemed like pavement. The United Vanjanan Empire also has a highly developed cobblestone road system for the transport of goods.

In Vanjana, the four-point star is considered a symbol of hope and good luck, explaining their flag and national anthem (titled: "Look up at the Four-Pointed Star"). Jade (the rock) is also important to the culture, signifying perseverance despite the situation and the ability to do good no matter the consequences. Women and men are considered completely equal, and tolerance is a core value in Vanjana. The believe in strength through quality and they believe quality comes from diversity, thus it is a popular immigration target. In contrast to other nations, women are allowed to join the military and there are many decorated female leaders.

Different religions sprawl all over the UVE, but the largest is known as "Anhängare av Stjärna Frö" (after the title of their leader). It’s holy book is known as the “Ord stjärnorna”. The most famous lines from it are "Thus, our forefathers were sent forth from their homeland, to fight the Cadzigrara wherever they may dwell." and "Those pure in heart need not heed our call, for they will naturally find their way back to the halls of the Yagdasradich."

Anhängare av Stjärna Frö believes in two forces: Yagdasradich and Cadzigrara. Interestingly, neither are supernatural. Both are believed to be simply groups of extremely powerful mortals. The Yagdasradich are the "Good" force, standing for equality, liberty, justice, and understanding. The Cadzigrara are the "Evil" force, standing for oppression and the destruction of all who do not follow their path. The Yagdasradich and Cadzigrara are said to be locked in an eternal war not unlike those waged in the world of Edoniras. However, the words of many a Stjärna Frö over the years describe the battles waged in this war as "Astounding in scale", with each battle being said to be as long and as large as the largest wars ever fought on Edoniras.

Despite the popularity of the religion, many consider them to be a bunch of crackpots and people who just want something to believe in. Interestingly, the Anhängare av Stjärna Frö harbor no hard feelings toward those who believe they are wrong. In fact, anyone who is pure of heart is considered a descendant of the Yagdasradich soldiers, regardless of belief or actual family history. Though the UVE tries to not show favoritism to any religion, Anhängare av Stjärna Frö beliefs have slowly crept into everyday life. Gender equality? Anhängare av Stjärna Frö belief. Four pointed star? Home of the Yagdasradich. However, nobody really realizes this, and the Anhängare av Stjärna Frö have never actively tried to push their beliefs on anyone not willing to listen.

There are multiple languages in the United Vanjanan Empire, but the most used is Vanjanani (Similar to Swedish). Ancient Vanjanani is used in the anthem, however, and most know at least those words. The currency is the Fyrapoängstjärnamynt (Often shortened to Frya). There are quarter Frya coins, half Frya coins, one Frya coins, two Frya coins, and four Frya coins. The coins are gold in the center, surrounded by wood. As the value rises, so does the size of the gold in the center and the wood surrounding it. They are made in such a way that the wood's buoyancy counteracts the weight of the gold to varying degrees, allowing merchants to drop coins given to them in water to determine their legitimacy.

The capital of Vanjana is considered a jewel by Vanjanans. Ships come and go, all of them carrying goods in and out of the city. The buildings within are grandiose, even the poorest households can find elaborate decorations to put up, showing the Vanjanan love of art and beauty. The richer households are opulent mansions, covered in Jade sculptures and containing carpets dyed purple using the ancient, more expensive methods simply because it is possible. The palace itself is a wondrous building, boasting everything the mansions do, but more of it. The Vanjanans have a love of opulence, fueling their highly competitive economy.

Nations Name: The Empire of Corustaria

Flag: The Flag of the Empire of Corustaria is very different from the flags of it's individual territories, and this is very important to remember as regiments from the different area's of Corustaria often fly the banners of their countries in addition to the Corustarian banner. The Corustarian banner is composed of the Red of Alswell, the Blue of Vivia and the Lion of Morland. Traditionally, the dragon is not included due to Saxley having been conquered and thus not having been part of the union which made the flag. As such, the official flag does not include the Dragon of Saxley, however some unofficial contemporary variations do exist that incorporate the Dragon alongside the Lion, usually by moving the Lion so that it is against the Blue background and the Dragon so that it is against the red. These variants exist almost exclusively within Saxley.

Corustaria

Major Province Flags:
Vivia
Saxley
Morland
Alswell[http://oi57.tinypic.com/5zi05t.jpg]

Form of Government: Constitutional Monarchy

Describe the System: (Describe how your country is run in some more detail.} The Monarch of the Empire (Known as the Emperor or Empress) is a very important and powerful figure. Alongside the monarch there is a parliament with a range of powers which acts as a legislator. The monarch can dissolve parliament at their own discretion, and also has many administrative functions, working with parliament rather than independently of it. While Morland is the heart of the Empire, the remaining islands are mostly autonomous, with their own heads of state, for example Vivia having a king. All these are subservient to the Emperor/Empress and Morlands Parliament

Location on Map Desired: The island and a small piece of the mainland north of the island, which sits on the border of the Vanjanan Empire, which is the booming port of Agatha and the land "two cannon shots" in any direction from its walls. Approximately halfway between the eastern tip of Saxley and the southern tip of Vivia lies Huntingtons isle, a collection of three small islands that are separated by only a few hundred meters of water. A few miles off the east coast of Morland lies the island of Lesser Morland, some 4 miles in every direction. Above Alswell is a string of small islands known for their large metal reserves and chilling winds, known as the Weyland islands. The Corustarian island is 100 miles away from the mainland at it's closest point and nearly 175 miles at it's furthest point
Aswell is the coldest of the nations, known for producing hardy miners. Some of the most infamous... and most famous... figures of the empire come from here. Brave warriors fighting for Emperor and Empire, and infamous assassins who could fill Morland with the blood they've spilt. Alswell is the smallest of the four nations
Saxley is known for being the best weathered land, excellent for growing crops. It was the only island that was brought into the Empire by force, nearly four hundred years ago when Morland invaded. The unrest has mostly died down by now, but there are die hards who contest that Saxley should be independent. Their voice is drowned out by the majority. Saxley is the second largest nation
Vivia, being the furthest south, is known for being the warmest of the four nations, and produces fine wines. It is the third largest of the nations
Morland is known for being the wettest of the nations, partly due to the convection currents running around the island. It's often said that the people of Morland went out to conquer Saxley because they were sick of the torrential rain. Despite this, when it isn't raining the country is quite pleasing to look at. It is the largest nation by far
Lesser Morland is 4 Miles long and 4.1 miles wide at its largest points, making it one of the largest islands
The Smallest of the Weyland islands is 0.6 miles long and 0.91 miles wide, while the largest is 3 miles long and 3.4 miles wide
The smallest of Huntingtons islands is .5 miles long and .56 miles wide, while the largest is 1.6 miles long and 1.07 miles wide
The smallest island is Jordans Island, being just 100 meters long and 80 meters wide and has no permenant residents, but has a watch tower with a beacon on top where two guardsmen are stationed for a month at a time, watching for signs of invasion from the rest of the powers. The watch tower doubles as a lighthouse for ships to avoid the jagged rocks surrounding it. If the beacon is lit in day, it means invaders have been spotted, if its doused at night, it means invaders have been spotted.

Capital: Stavedon, a massive city built around the bay of Stavedon to the North East of Morland, relatively close to the Morish-Alswellian border, the River Thyme flowing through it into the ocean, making it a port-side city to house it's naval assets and one of the more important trade centers of the isles.

Important Settlements: Pottershead (A large town in the center of Morland. It recently boomed to a massive side and became extremely important as the tree's surrounding it turned out to be excellent for ship building using the new methods) Albaport (Capital of Saxley, known for it's apples and mining, its located on the east coast of Saxley) Ivarford (A major mining town in the Weyland islands, notable for exporting large amounts of metals to the mainlands) Glassley (Capital of Alswell. Culturally significant, but it's economic value is relatively low compared to the other capitals) Bastillia (Capital of Vivia that is located along the River Charles in the south east of Vivia. Known for it's fine wines and vineyards. Bastillia gets it's name from the Bastile lying near it's center, a twelve hundred (1200) year old castle that has been razed and rebuilt many times in the battle scarred history that came before unification) Kingswood (A major town in the northeast of Vivia. It is renowned for the great forest surrounding it which has long since provided wood for ships) Newkeep (A Saxley city located near the center of Saxley, it has become one of the most prosperous on the island after having struck a huge vein of gold and silver. Jewlers and Smiths dot its streets, and it provides a major source of income for the government.) Dunworth (The largest city in Lesser Morland, located in the north of lesser Morland. Agath (A port city that sits north of the island, alongside the Vanjanan Empires western most border, it was acquired by Morland from a (now defunct) kingdom some 81 years before the Corustaria Unification some two centuries ago. When it was acquired it was little more than a fishing village, but the Morish and then the Corustarians have since built it into an important port city)

Description: (Describe an average city in your nation. Culture, language, currency etc.) Very Victorian esque in its architecture, the cities of the Empire of Corustaria range from beautiful manors and pretty cobble stone streets, to less... Appealing slums. New, revolutionary ideas spread like wild fire in the heat of summer, as great minds expand the fields of science. Some things never change however. They are still proud of their navy, and almost incessant are the chants of "Bigger, better, stronger" whenever someone so much as hears the word "Navy". There are four main nations. Morland, Vivia, Saxley, Alswell, situated on mainland Corustaria, and there were formally smaller nation states on the minor islands that surround it, though they have long since been absorbed into their larger brothers and in turn unified into the Empire of Corustaria. Morland is the largest, richest and most powerful nation, where the capital is situated built around a bay with a small entrance.
Aside from pride in the nation of Corustaria, there is pride in the individual nations (and sometimes regions within these nations), flying their colours proudly alongside the other. In particular, Vivia believes the souls of the fallen cling to their regiments colours, and that to lose the colours would be an insult to their memory. Morland has a long running tradition, which has been transferred into a Corustarian tradition, of the Monarchs Colours. This flag, referred to as the Emperors or Empresses Colours, are touched by the hand of the monarch themselves and bestowed only upon the most worthy regiments or units. This unit must continue to perform to the highest standards, or the colours may be "usurped" by another regiment, upon which the monarch shall instead bestow the colours upon that regiment. Not only is their the added pressure of losing the colours to another regiment, but if the colours fell into enemy hands, then the mark would forever stain the regiments record. "To lose the Empresses Colours is to lose the Empresses favour", as they say.
Religion is a somewhat avoided topic on the island, as the Princess is an atheist, while the Emperor was of a different religion to the Prince and the Empress. This is actually a running theme in Morlands royal family, with the monarchs often being of separate beliefs, and is merely another trait Corustaria has inherited from Morland. Its considered impolite to speak of your own religion unless another inquires, a social construct that came to be in no small part because of a period in Morlands history where your religion could make you lose your head...
Given their interesting socialist esque system of providing free education up till age 10, and education past that being relatively cheap compared to other countries, their technological prowess is considerable. While this has supposedly devalued their degree's and honours in the eyes of the paying elite that fill the continent, it has resulted in a literacy rate nearing 75%... No small feat for the time period
On the subject of socialist esque systems, this is a running theme is several areas. Setting them apart from the mainland their government is responsible for free (This is actually a misconception, as it is supported through taxes) though limited healthcare for its citizens, along with child support money for widows or widowers (But not for single parents who have become single by any other means, or to families) small pensions for the old and (admittedly limited) support for those out of work. This has made a somewhat healthy and effective workforce, and their people are generally taller than the continental average. This puts a drain on the economy, and the economy has to be carefully regulated in order to avoid a crash. The national reserve is the emergency funding, and a small amount of money is set aside for it each year. This system has created several industry giants, whom the government owns large shares in, including the somewhat dreaded "Empire Trading Company."
The Empire Trading Company is an Empowered Company, backed by government forces and legitimacy. In return, the government recieves a share of the money. It is often said the ETC gets a great a deal, as the money they give the government funds the healthcare and education programs, which in turn creates a strong and capable workforce for the Company.

The Currency of Corustaria is the Vestibulum coin. Made out of gold, bronze and silver depending on worth, these coins have the head of the Empress stamped onto them, and on the other side bear the national symbol of wherever the coin was issued (Lion for Morland, Dragon for Saxley, Grapes for Vivia, Bear for Alswell etc) Bank notes are also used, exchangeable at the bank for coin.
The Empire of Corustaria is known for being very cosmopolitan; Divisions aren't laid out by creed, colour or gender. In fact, it's known for having fierce women in the ranks of it's sailors, as well as minority groups and those viewed by others as 'savages' fighting among it's marines. This is partly down to their nature, being already made from several different peoples who have unified rather than being a single country to begin with. This will likely be unexpectedly helpful in Colonial situations, as their seemingly more benevolent nature will likely earn them more friends among natives than other, less cosmopolitan powers. This is not to say there isn't racism or sexism within their society. As will all colonial nations, they still have their own views on what's 'womanly' and 'savage'. And their own way of ensuring people do not rise past their station...
Although it's army is something of a joke due to underfunding and it's generals being perpetually at each others throats, the individual soldier is not actually terrible. Many are loyal and committed, even if they are poorly trained and ill equipped. Unfortunately, this leads to soldiers having a poor reputation, when it is more down to the fault of their superiors than it is their own. This has led to a somewhat awful recruitment level, with would be soldiers flocking to join the navy or marines instead
Something important to note is that Corustaria's Marines are considered much better fighters than it's actual army. They are feared opponents at sea, storming enemy vessels and firing on the swaying decks with shocking accuracy, partly down to skill and experience and partly down to their use of the superior equipment to their land based counter parts

Nation's Name: The Grand Duchy of Argentaurumia (ar-jent-ow-room-ee-ah)

Flag:

Form of Government: Parliamentary Monarchy, Thalassocracy

Describe the System: Argentaurumia is governed firstly by a monarch, the Grand Duke or Duchess. The title is passed to the eldest child of their line after death or retirement. The Argentaurumian Parliament is the second most powerful governing body in the nation, limiting the monarch's power insofar as consent from both parties is needed to pass new legislation. This makes the nation a parliamentary democracy, but differs from IRL countries such as the UK as the Duke/Duchess wields far more political power. 'Thalassocracy' means a nation held together by the strength of its navy and relies heavily on international trade for its power.

Location on Map Desired: A long, narrow nation along the western coast. Preferably small, as I would like to place Argentaurumia's priorities on maritime trade and commerce as opposed to maintaining a large empire (until, of course, the New World is discovered :D)

Capital: Sapientia. A white walled city on the coast at the northernmost point of the little inlet on the west coast. Major maritime trading hub.

Important Settlements:

Foedus - On the coast, south of Sapientia. The Great Archives are located here, along with the famed Argentaurumian Library, wherein is stored a huge collection of ancient knowledge and texts.

Cantus - Just north of Sapientia, within a few hours by horse. In the mountains. The religious centre of Argentaurumia, it has the Argentum Temple at its centre.

Mercatura - After Sapientia, the largest trading centre in Argentaurumia. South of Foedus.

Description:

The culture of Argentaurumia is based almost solely on the sea. It is possible to observe the ocean from almost any point within the nation, and its beauty and power have ingrained themselves in virtually every citizen. The religion of most Argentaurumians is a monotheistic faith, but with the Deity, as their god is known, primarily being viewed as god of the sea. Sacrifices and rituals are similar to the IRL religion of Judaism, one major difference being that any person from any background can be saved.

In the cities of the nation, maritime culture is clearly prominent in many places. The colour blue is highly prised, and gemstones such as sapphire and aquamarine are popular decorations. Marble is a preferred building material, and many buildings resemble landlocked, white-stone ships, or have boat-like features. In the mercantile districts of Argentaurumian cities, large crowds of buyers and merchants swarm around well-designed but overcrowded market squares and shop alleys.

The language of Argentaurumia will be Latin, with some Greek words thrown in. The language is known as Argentaurumian. The currency is the silver drachma, easily exchangeable in the many exchangers doted throughout the nation, but unstable depending on the fluctuating economy. (Describe an average city in your nation. Culture, language, currency etc.)

Important Characters:

Grand Duke Dominas II
Duchess Puella, wife of the Duke
Prince Filius, heir to the throne
Thane Legatus, chief official of Parliament.

Traits:

Small Army: Your nation maintains a relatively small number of troops, when fielded in battle against another nation your forces are almost always outnumbered. +2

Outdated Army: Your men carry weapons not even your grandfather remembers, muskets misfire more than usual and your training deals with tactics not used in many years. +2

Never been out of the village: Your men have almost all never been outside their own borders. Other countries lands and environments are almost alien, especially those on another continent. They will suffer from not being able to deal with weather and being unable to forage as well. +1

Ambitious Generals: Your generals all want a piece of glory. Sometimes even going to backstabbing each other and arriving to another’s aid ‘late’. +1

King of the Seas: Your nation has a glorious Maritime history and a navy that matches, many grand ships fill your docks and sailors are viewed as hero’s in the eye of the public. -3

Ships of Line: The largest ships to sail the sea’s are expensive and vast undertakings however your nation has viewed this as a needed expense. Your fleets have a number of these ships.-2

New Age Ship Construction: New ways of shaping the wood and newly discovered types of wood has led to advances in how ships perform. However these come at a cost, making ships more expensive than usual. +/-0

Trading Hub: Your country is a nation of traders and merchants, many coins pass through the fingers of your citizens every day, especially through your own after taxes. -3

Free market: Your economy is not controlled by the state, it can fluctuate completely freely. This means that it can rise incredibly quickly making you very rich, however you are vulnerable to recessions and collapses. -1

I wasn't sure how many points we start with, so this probably isn't correct. Please get back to me and I'll make any alterations needed.

17,000 Regulars
5,000 Recruits
12,000 Arquebusiers

Nation Name: The Iria Queendom

Flag:

Form of Government: Liberal Costitutional Monarchy

Describe the System:
The whole Irian government focuses around the philosophical speculation of the great sage Lotce, unrolling on the political persona of the citizen, and of his rights. In fact, emblematic symbol of it, the Queendom itself is both legitimate and constricted by the ancient Declatiòn o Rilights, or also know as the 'Bill of rights' of the year 1156. The Bill of rights is a pragmatic and mutual deal between the Queen, owner of the lands of Iria, and its people; by that the State is formed, and the Monarch becomes formal rules of it, appointing thanks to his magistral powers the other political organs. By the formation of the State, the Monarch has given the duty of protecting his people most valuable and necessary rights: freedom, life, security and property.
The Queen of Iria is, and has always been since the coagulation of the numerous fragmented political parties, the living manifestation of the state, and as primordial land owner of the Queendom, her and her dinasty are legitimate sovereigns; on that right, she is the one who applies the laws. After her, in the hierarchical disposition of power, exists a multi-purpose political organ called 'Parliament', which is moreover divided in two equal chambers: The Bellflower one - named after the glasshouse in which it firstly assemble- , which main purpose is the administration of justice, basically the acting against who breaks the laws, is composed of regional members elected by the population, members of the aristocracy and appointed royal officials; it's a tripartite sub-organ, divided in three courts, each one administering a different and more grievous crime. The Starry one instead - named for the star-like dots that adorn the vault of this chamber - detains the legislative power, and promulgates laws in order to protect the rights of the citizen.
For convenience, due to the impossibility of ruling directly on the territory, the Queen has the duty of appointing governors to the decentralized offices that rule each region: to do so, she is given the right to select from the wide range of Bellflower chamber commoners a minister, who will gain a Noblesse title, which will eventually grant him, at the end of the mandate, the possibility of joining through regionals elections the Starry chamber - though by obtaining this title the Bellflower one will be forever preclude to him - ; this title is not hereditary.
After the governors, the Queendom boasts a great bureucracy apparatus, composed of royal officials who perform the most various tasks.

Short Summary (descending climax):
>Monarchy (Executive)
>Parliament = Chamber of Bellflower (Judiciary) - Starry Chamber (Legislature)
>Noblesse (Governors) - Royal officials (Tax collectors and contractors)
>Land Aristocracy (Major nobility) - Gentry (Lesser nobility - Rich bourgeoisie) - Commons (Renters, salaried, small bourgeoisie, farmers)

Location on Map Desired:

Capital: Aglarphen

Important Settlements:
- Ivry
Ancient capital of the Queendom, still remains a first class settlement due to its cloth, wood, and minerals manufacturers. Located in the center of the country, shielded by mount Vermot and its mountain chain, Ivry is the second most populous city in the reign.
- Milltown
A major agricultural center, renowned for its pastures on the near hills, sweet wines, and ever rolling windmills. The soft warm breeze that constantly comes from the not too distant ocean make this region temperate, allowing orchards of the most various types.
- Orestea
On the far northern lands, situated between the icy mountains by left, and the bleak rifts that overlook the ocean, lays Orestea; due to its remoteness from the Capital, this sprawling and colorful town acts as northern political centre. From there in fact is organized the political asset of the wind-swept pine woods and pastures of the northern regions.
- Espery
This city is called jewel of the south for one specific reason; constructed on a wetland by the centurion Espery in the Ancient times, the city grew into a majestic trade hub, where words and slanders can proliferate as fast as wealth. Amidst the channels and palaces lays the flag shop of the 'Royal Trading association of the Everlasting East', the Irian international company.
- Ghoete
This settlement knew a great expansion and afflux of wealth in the past century, mostly thanks to the valuable workshops that set their flagshops here. Today is the main exchange point with the Corustarian sea, and the other half of the continent, as well as important docking for merchant ships.

Description: (Describe an average city in your nation. Culture, language, currency etc.)

After the Crumble subsequent to the dusk of Ancient times, most of Aurora (how Iranians call the main continent) fell into the Dark ages. During this period, due to the wide spread of illnesses and diseases, great numbers of population deceased for the most various motives. The Asian peninsula, sparsely populated at that age, was home of a circumscribed case of Red plague, an incredibly infective and deadly virus. The disease struck with particular violence the male body, inevitably leading to a bloody and eczematous death of the host, while hiding and reproducing in the female ones. Fortunately, this disease slowly died out, however reducing the already low population of these lands; moreover it left a tangible sign not only on local political assets, but on the survivors bodies as well, creating a new race of humans, however often incorporated as a slight variation of the Aurorian one. The virus, before dying out, corrupted the reproductive system, and brought to the birth of weaker males (lower height, less muscular strength, more tender features) and stronger females (higher than males, with more muscular strength), decisively bringing radical changes to the old society model; so, time passed and the Gynocracy model became the ruling one over all the modern Iria territories, though with a lot of differences from the epic poetry one.

Religion is viewed as a different dominion from that of temporal kingdom, though the Queen is both the head of the state and that of the Orphy monotheism. Centered around the conception of one God, unique, just, universal and eternal, but most of all compassionate and rewarding, the State Church organizes crystallized rituals and sentences. Though many wouldn't believe it, Orphy is followed by pratically all of the population, protected by the cohesion which labels not only the doctrine, but also the whole state, from the ignorance and naiveness of religious minorances.

Iria boasts a large and ancient cultural heritage, which is cultivated, passed on and evolved in the numerous academies and organization that exist in the country. This heritage is composed of a natural love for visual arts, and practical ones. Music is given a first role in the education of Irian youth, and generally every Irian is trained to sing or play a basic instrument. The best way to hear good music, to enjoy beautiful operas, is to go to the theatre and concert halls, where by simply paying eight Metàux -the price of a loaf of bread- people could assist to the current spectacle in the lower bleaches and the court.
(Trivia: After the Red Plague, Irian men have a slightly higher and more melodious tone)

The Irian language still reseables much the Latin of the Ancient times, due to the long period of isolation that immediately followed the Great fall, though evolving in a somehow more flexible, armonious language, fluent and musical. The Lang is spoken as main language in every region city and village, with just slightly different dialects from city to an another. For this reason learning the Lang may appear difficult to foreigners, moreover due to the intricate and complex grammar - whose first certified edition was in the 1623, thanks to Lady Annabel Orjustia - ; so, given the very infrequent use of Lang in foreign situation, every royal official, deputies, regional ministers, etc, must know perfectly latin as well, and at least one other language for most important offices.

One thing Iria is surely proud of are its academies, whose great and honorable results are shown in the everyday life by Irian witty officials. In the last two centuries, with the growth of the State's wealth and political influence, the Monarchy has decided to fund and contribute to the spreading of colleges and academies in order to increase overall population status. While public schools are still organized and funded by ecclesiastical and regional money, royal government funded colleges are present in every city worthy of such a title. They are very various, and can range from military academies, to music and arts ones: through a meritocratic system, every institution allows the most meritorious children from public schools to join them in a restricted number, whilst being always open to anyone who would pay for the instruction granted to the children. Of course, the inscription and tuition fees are not for everyone...

Money as exponentially acquired importance in every day life, even in the most isolated village, bringing up again the philosophical topic of currency and of its virtues and vices. Still, money remains very tangible, and people is not always interested in speculations of old wise men. The Irian currency is the Vallia, named after the first Queen of the reign, and is is possible to be seen in five different types of coins: with an increasing value given by the quantity of precious metal present in the coin, they range from a tin one, the Metàux, continue through many others (a metal alloy between copper and tin (Salè), copper (Rugio)), arriving to the silver one, Lune, and a golden one, very rare between commoners, often only used instead of great transactions between wealthy people, called Liòn. Each coin has also an effigy for each side: the Queen under whom the coin was produced, and the lion, symbol of the state.
The coniage is entrusted to the Bank of Iria (formerly, the Bank of the Twin Suns), which moreover has almost total control on major and minor money movements, allowing better anti-freud and corruption policies. Moreover, the bank is owned by the Queen, and regulates the national and international trades in order to prevent eventual economy crumbles. Production of coins is however an exceptional happening, as economists are well aware that a larger amount of money does not determinate the country wealth.
The bank is currently researching new ways of coinage, in order to cut the increasing costs of the raw materials for coins.

You work as an adviser for the Sensei Overlord if you are not chosen for the role and are in the Royal Family. The roads are built on the edges of the farms next to the houses.

There are no Gods or Goddesses in this religion, only these three beliefs and a few Holidays. The leader of this religion (the one who shares the three beliefs and the one who organizes Holidays and etc) is Sensei Overlord, but all people in this Nation or raised with this religion, so the Sensei Overlord has so far never been recorded to be deceitful with the religion or his or her power. They also in this Religion believe three to be the luckiest number.
