Well at least it's being worked on. :P I always found the idea of "Invisible, but tells everyone you're Invisible" to be really redundant/pointless.

I can't make it look like people in ghost-mode have never logged in because then that's just deceitful/confusing. I can't just display "Offline" because I've decided to represent "Offline" as "Online X hours ago" which I find *much* more helpful. Ghost-mode is just a privacy feature that makes your online-status ambiguous. It lets you do things like: - Publicly rage-quit but privately lurk - Avoid people - Tell someone you're "off for the night" and then stay up for six more hours PMing your main guild squeeze

I'll admit that throws a wrench into it. I was assuming the Guild was just going to "Online" and "Offline". In which case Invisible would have to be constantly "Offline".

I patched it so that "Invisible" is no longer displayed (after tonight's update). I checked out other forums with similar "Magic Magnum was last seen 2 hours ago" UI (like Xenforo) and they just hide your online-now icon and your last-seen-at timestamp. Of course, like on the Guild, you know if someone has invisible-mode enabled because they have no last-seen-at timestamp. My reasoning for showing "Invisible" to begin with was that it possibly made the UI more obvious/consistent. i.e. "Why can't I see this one user's last-online-at timestamp?". But yeah, it's not something that needs to be broadcast with every post. Aside: Invisible users will no longer show up in the "Who's Online" list after tonight's update. That was definitely a bug. The invisible-mode toggle will also appear on the edit-user page as well after the update. Thanks for the feedback!

I don't personally use it myself, but I can imagine people getting annoyed they're invisibility is being outright announced.
