An orange glow blanketed the village of Ordon as it's people wound down for the day. Fado was tending to the Ordon Goats, Sera, the older woman, was closing up shop and the children all gathered underneath the tree the three sisters, Sera, Naria, and Maya, lived. Their buoyant laughter could be heard through the area as the sun slowly descended. Sera, the green haired child, sat in a rocking chair sewing new clothes when the laughter reached her ears. Putting on a smile, she got up and walked over to the door. Composing herself, she bust through the door and screamed at the children, "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" The children stopped dead in their tracks and all turned to stare at the Trio Sister, creatively named by the children. Talo was the only one brave enough to stand his ground. "We're playing!" He answered back, his voice strong. Sera could hardly hold her smile at bay any longer as it krept onto her face. "Can I join too?" She asked, grinning from ear to ear. Beth just turned her nose away, Malo didn't seem to care but Talo and Colin seemed pretty excited. "R-Really?" Colin asked, happy that Sera wanted to play with them. "Of course! What are you guys playing?" Just as Sera asked, she heard the door creek behind her and looked to see which of her sisters was coming out. She hadn't really been paying attention to who was in the house who wasn't so it could really be anyone.

"Well, looks like that's all of them," said Maya, a young woman with sun-bronzed skin and long, flowing, flame-like hair. "Yes, thank you for all your help," replied Fado the goatherd.  "Here are some rupees for your hard work...aaannd...here, take some milk home, you've earned it." "Thanks!" Maya accepted the payment with a grin. Fado watched as she left with the bottle of milk slung over her back while waving goodbye, thinking to himself how fortunate it was that Maya had outgrown her days as a prankster and had taken up honest work.  "How time flies," he thought to himself. Maya arrived at the treehouse, seeing the town children playing. Maya placed the milk gently on the ground before shouting, "Colin!" and dashed at the young boy, coiling her arm around his neck, and driving her knuckles into the top of his head in an act of rough horseplay. Having been adopted by Colin's father, Rusl, Maya saw Colin as a younger brother. Because Colin was a fairly submissive child, Maya hoped that some tough love would teach him to stand up for himself as he was often pushed around by the other kids due to his passive nature.

Naria sat quietly in her chair her nose in a book that she bought with some of her rupees from doing some jobs around Ordon Village, she always had an interest in books. Her blue eyes started to follow Sera as she got up and headed out of the tree house, curious what had caught her sister's attention Naria decided to follow her outside. She couldn't help but smile watching the kids playing with each other, and giggled softly at Talo's response to her sister's question. "I wouldn't mind joining in either room for one more?" Naria asked watching as her other sister Maya making her way towards their home and smirked seeing her giving Colin a knuckle sandwich. "Careful you don't want to hurt him to the point where he gets mad at you." Naria said teasingly, knowing how Colin reacted he was a sweet kid. Naria headed towards the ladder as she started climbing down it to meet with Beth and Malo. "So what are you guys playing?"

Sera smiled as her sisters came to the yard as well, messing with Colin and asking the other children what they were playing. She smiled and stayed her ground, waiting for the children to answer them. "Well... We were playing with Talo's new slingshot..." Beth replied, her eyes cast away from the girls. For some reason, she didn't like the Trio Sisters quite as much as the others. "Yeah, the slingshot he stole from his mother..." Malo added, his voice soft and low. Sera turned to look at him her eyes wide. "Stole?!" She shouted, turning to wheel around on Talo. "You stole it?" She asked, glaring needles at him. The poor boy nearly shat his pants as the accusations flew at him, his cheeks turned red as he turned to look at Malo. "T-Tattle-tail!" He shouted angrily before running off into the forest. Malo simply shrugged as Beth and Colin turned to look with wide eyes where Talo had run off to. "The sun is setting! He'll die out there!" Beth called out, fear gripping her heart. Sera sighed and looked to her sisters. "Guess our work for the day isn't quite done." She spoke, shaking her head. As if on cue,, Rusl seemed to appear out of nowhere, his eyes scanning the area. "Where's Talo?" He asked, raising a brow as he entered the area, three weapons at his back. "Anyway, I brought you all training swords since you all wanted to learn. Keep them safely locked up for now, I'll teach you how to wield them tomorrow." He told them, handing each sister a sword. He'd already taught them how to wield them some but he had much more to teach them. "When you find Talo, tell him his mother wants to see him." He told the group before heading back out into the town. Sera looked to her sisters and then to the swords and walked over to pick one up. "Dad's timing couldn't have been better." She exclaimed, chuckling.

Maya let Colin go at Naria's suggestion. Maya wondered if Colin was too soft because he had three older sisters to baby him. When Beth told them that they were playing with a slingshot, Maya perked up. It was a dangerous weapon, and that made it awesome. Maya did also notice, not for the first time, Beth's disgruntlement, which Maya felt was aimed at herself and her sisters. Maya could only interpret it as a sort of adolescent jealousy. Perhaps Beth liked one of the boys, but whoever that boy was might have developed a small puppy crush for Maya or one of her sisters. Well, the Trio sisters couldn't help the fact that they were pretty and graceful. Maya saw Beth's supposed jealousy as cute and non-threatening. However when Malo mentioned that the slingshot was stolen, Maya's eyes lit up. She was about to congratulate Talo when Sera began to tell him off. "Now, now, it's just a little prank..." Maya began to mediate, but in a heated moment, Talo took off running into the forest. "He wouldn’t have took off if you hadn't started scolding him," Maya teased Sera, making light of the situation. When Rusl came with the practice swords, Maya said, "Thanks Dad! Alright Colin, go home with Dad." Following Sera's example by picking up a wooden sword, Maya looked at her sisters with a grin,"Alright, let's do this!"

Naria looked towards Colin and smiled at him he was a very sweet boy but very shy almost like her sometimes when meeting a new person, her eyes turned over towards Beth who seemed jealous of her and her other two sisters. When Malo told them it was a slingshot that he stole from his mother she was not that shocked or surprised he was the one who seemed to get into trouble a lot. Then Talo quickly turned around and stormed off into the woods, letting out a soft sigh she turned to Sera and Maya. "I guess we better go after him then." And as if right on queue their father Rusl came in, happy to see him Naria quickly ran up to him seeing that he was carrying three wooden swords. Naria smiled accepting the wooden weapon holding it gently in her hands, she started to head off towards where Talo ran off with Sera and Maya.

The trio ran through the woods searching for the boy when they came across the weird man with bird nest head that lives in the forest. Sera had been told his name before but it escaped her now. Koran? Corn? Something... He spotted the three girls and began waving his arms vehemently from his seat by his fireplace. "Hey! Girls! If you're headed that way, I've got something you might need!" He called out, still waving his arms like an idiot. Sera blinked and turned to look at her sisters as if to ask them, 'Think it's safe?' Shaking her head, she smiled at the two and turned to start walking in the man's direction. "Hello! What would that be?" She called out as she made her way over. The crazy curly-haired man nodded his head before turning to get something from his pouch. The trio could hear clanging noises as he shifted things around before eventually pulling something metallic out of it. "A lantern?" She asked, a bit incredulous. "Yeah, girl! It's dark and scary in there! I'll give you guys a free lantern to use! Only, I've just got the one and you'll have to buy oil from now on. But it's yours! See, the way I see it, it's a great business move. Give away free lanterns so they have to buy your oil." He explained, grinning widely at the three girls.

Naria followed alongside Sera and Maya looking around yelling out for Talo to come out, she searched through some bushes nearby letting out an annoyed sigh when she wasn't able to see him anywhere close by, that's when she heard someone's voice yelling out to them. Her blue eyes turning to see a man with some very crazy and puffy hair with what looked like a birds nest had been built in it, she looked towards Sera slightly shrugging towards her it couldn't hurt to see what he wanted. She stood in between her sisters looking down towards him, only having a few brief conversations with him when having been near this area of the woods. "Seems like a pretty good way to make a good profit. Naria said looking down at the lanterns he had in his hands, she had been in the caves only once they were extremely dark and couldn't see anything. "I'm assuming we have to pay to get them filled now right?" Naria asked crossing her arms over her chest.

As the sisters searched for Talo, Maya swung her practice sword, clipping grass and smashing bushes to test it out. Even though they were looking for a lost child, Maya was optimistic that nothing bad would happen and that everyone would be home in time for supper. When the lantern merchant waved them over Sera wondered if it was safe, Maya shrugged. "Should be fine, anyways we outnumber him and we've got our swords." Maya said, swinging her sword menacingly. When Coro offered to give them a free lantern, Naria asked if they would have to pay to fill it right now. Maya slowly pushed some strands of hair behind her head and bent her knees and hips slightly, leaning in close to the flustered merchant, saying in a low voice, "Hey, the free lantern comes filled, right...?"

The sound of the wooden frame dragging along the ground was was a constant sound Zetsello heard as he traveled. Its sound told him everything was okay and as such he tilted his hat over his face and drifted asleep. The day was gorgeous and the sun was at its peak with its warm rays keeping him comfortable as he and his horse traveled through the fields. Some would savor such a picturesque day but he didn't. From what he saw out of either corner of his eyes it was one big meadow to go through for some indeterminate amount of time. Instead he closed his eyes and let the warmth bring him to sleep as the crimson of his eyelids faded into something else. Or he would have done so if not for the sudden sensation of cold quickly hitting his exposed toes and rising up almost to his knees as well as his back. The horse had stopped in the stream to rest and drink the water. Immediately he got up to put some of the items like his sword that were on the stretcher to the horse itself so it wouldn't get damaged from the water. He too also took his fill of liquid as he filled his canteen and took the time to let the water rinse his dusty clothes seeing as he was already wet. Having walked along the stream which was not very deep but would have wet him lying down. He got back on the stretcher and let the sun dry him out. Sooner or later he'd be close to some civilization. As the saying goes, "where's there water, there's people." he set that horse to follow along the banks and he'd find someone or some place.

"Of course, girls! I wouldn't slight you like that! Just come back when you need a refill." He told them, grinning with such forced that his eyes closed shut. Sera simply nodded and took the lantern from him before turning to look at her sisters. "I guess I'll carry it. Let's go looking for the dork, he's probably crying his eyes out by now." She told them, already walking past to head for the entrance to the depth of Faron Woods. She'd been told of the temple deep inside the forest but she'd never seen it for herself, never had a need to. Now, however, she did. Wll, granted Talo even got that far before breaking down. As she walked, she turned to her sisters and asked, "How far do you think he made it?"

"Thank you so much!" Maya said, giving Coro a friendly wink. Maya let Sera carry the lantern even though she felt strangely drawn to the bright flame. Maya realized that she had probably never been this deep in the forest and began wondering what the world beyond was like. When Sera asked how far they think Talo might have gone, Maya decided to tease Sera a bit and said, "I don't know, Sera. He seemed pretty upset after you scolded him. Who knows how far he might have gone in such a desperate state? For all we know he may have made it through the woods and bolted across the field." Of course, the possibility was highly doubtful, it was extremely unlikely that a kid Talo's age, even such an energetic kid, had the endurance to make it that far on a whim.

"Yes thank you." Naria said with a soft smile and giggled softly when Maya gave him a friendly wink, and quickly turned to follow behind Sera as she carried the lantern in her hand. She took a moment to look around the forest, even though she had been in the woods numerous times. Naria always stayed far away from the bokoblins that made their homes in the Faron Woods. "I don't think he could have gone that far in such a short time, though there are quiet a few deku baba's as well as bokoblins deeper inside the woods." Naria answered she looked over towards the cave that Coro had mentioned, she looked towards Sera for a moment. "But i'm sure we will find him soon though and we can be home and make some dinner."

Sera could feel her heart drop down into her chest. She turned to look at Maya, blushing with concern in her eyes. "Y-You really think he made it that far?" She asked, worry etched across her pale-pink face. Then, she turned, listening to Naria. "Y-Yeah..." She stuttered, trying to bring her courage back up.

"Yeah! He'll be fine. Besides, what trouble could he have gotten into that we can't handle?" She replied happily, building her mood back from before. "Let's go!" She exclaimed and began marching in the direction of Ordon, NOT Faron Woods, a happy go-lucky smile on her face.

Sure, she was the Goddess of Courage, but Directions? Not so much.

When Sera got a little disheartened, Maya started to regret teasing her, but what Naria said raised Sera's spirits, much to Maya's relief. Maya had only wanted to tease her, not actually make her cry. Fortunately, Naria had a good head on her shoulders and knew how to reason her way out of a bad situation, while Sera never gave up.

But when Sera started heading off in a direction, Maya became a bit concerned; wasn't this the way back home? Maya turned to look at Naria for confirmation.
