@Revans Exile Okay... so... I'm really not sure how I feel about 'gender bending' a character that was considered canon in the verse, so I'm going to ask you to do one of two things if you want to keep this specific skill set. The backstory, skills and abilities are all fine and I have no problems there, so I'll ask you to do one thing for me.

Either drop all association of 'summers' from the CS (including the alias Cyclops) and have her have her own name and alias as though she is entirely original...

Or just make it Cyclops and change her into a male.

I want to make a mutant who worked for the mob and also is more correctly fitted for the time personality wise, I like characters who act like their from the 40s and 50s. Hell I love reading history about the early 20th and 19th century

As for everyone else, I have a pressing feeling that I need to address what feels like an over-abundance of gay characters within the RP. A few characters are fine, and I have no problems with the whole idea of gay characters either I just feel that with the time setting, an abundance of gay characters is just way too much. It was a very, VERY touchy thing back then and in all reality, the characters we have that are gay wouldn't even so much as mutter a peep about it because of how it was viewed back then. So please, lets keep this to a slight minimum? Please don't make your characters gay for the sake of being gay. Have a plan (this goes for all the already approved characters who have been deemed as gay already too).

Sorry for the rant, I just want an equal, realistic balance of characters here.

Great job on Iris, being as she was poor to begin with, there wasn't much that the war would have done to affect her noral day-to-day life, so for that, Iris has been accepted and will be placed into slot number 7.

For Erik, just a few small things. One, could you elaborate on Erik's abilities? Separate out what he can do now and what he will be able to do later? That just makes it easier on me. Also, this deal he made with Logan (since Logan is my character, I would like to know about this beforehand) I'm assuming the deal was for Logan to teach Erik to fight in turn for Erik not using his powers on the metal in his body, am I correct? I was hoping that you would go through the backstory I initially gave you and flesh it out a bit, make it sound like you wrote it and fill in some gaps that might appear. Would that be alright?

You know what? I'm gonna drop that from my guy. I only had it because I needed a better trait for him. But I don't need it now that I have the PTSD. So my guy is not gay anymore.

Thanks for the feedback! I was wondering if I should do some more elaboration with Erik but I wasn't entirely sure. I did want to kind of see what you were looking for before I just started adding useless information. I'm just getting off work now so I'll work on him later.

Sweet, thanks. Diversity and little traits like that are great for characters, but in hindsight there are plenty to chose from other than being gay. Race and religion are two big ones and only two characters have really touched on that; Yukiko being from Japan and Erik being Jewish... Again, I have no problems with gay characters, I just don't want an over-abundance that turns into everyone being gay lol

Yeah go crazy. So long as you stick to the basic information I gave you, you have every right to explain in further detail in how you took it as well as taking your own liberties with any other useful information you would like to give him. Sorry if I wasn't clear on that before.

If manipulating the body goes anywhere, I believe that within reason one can also kill a person by confusing the nervous system of feeling a various amount pain. By tampering with another one's nervous system and inflicting this false sensation, it could overwhelm a person that they die from shock. What I believe a shock is that the mind basically shuts down and waits for the danger to pass. I think this also happens in a stroke? Its basically a protective measure against something like a car crash but beside that, its all I know about this brain shock thingy. (Im surprised I know this random fact lol)

If I may butt in here, @Pie Flavor, your CS states Damien has Biological Manipulation of his own DNA in regards to his physical appearance. It doesn't mention him being able to induce shock into other people or otherwise manipulating their physiology.

@Pie Flavor okay yeah I see where you are coming from but to me, that Iis an entirely new ability. What you have is physical changed that undergoes on himself, not others. So pulling in the nervous system, either on himself or others, is a completely new ability in itself already. Like I said, I see the relation but to have them both it just doesnt fit...

so as far as using his abilities on other people I would see as being limited to what he can do to himself but with a higher amount of concentration, eventually being able to change others hair or eye color by contact once he can control it better. But I think that's as far as it goes.

I know what I say in this doesn't matter, however when I read over your CS, I got the impression that he could only manipulate his body and not that of another, so I don't see how this is relevant at all to be quite honest. Not to mention manipulating a person's genes (<- The impression I'm getting from his powers, though like stated above I didn't see any note that he could manipulate another person's body) and manipulating person's nervous system are two completely different things...
