Alright, gonna give this another shot. Anyone up for an online gaming based RP? I have an OoC Thread somewhere; might bring that back up if there is enough interest.

FYI: No one is trapped in the game world.

Yeah, never really done a proper MMORPG setting other than one weird attempt a while back, long as it doesn't get too controlled by game stats and the whatnot I'm in. So I'm assuming you'll be making a new thread if enough people feel like signing along?

That's exactly what it is. Hopefully we get a good group...

Yeah, never really done a proper MMORPG setting other than one weird attempt a while back, long as it doesn't get too controlled by game stats and the whatnot I'm in. So I'm assuming you'll be making a new thread if enough people feel like signing along?


Nah, I'm not all that strict about stats - I only ask that players be fair with how they RP which was never a problem. Yeah, I'll start a new, revamped-hopefully-for-the-better OoC and a completely new IC as well. I encourage you all to give this a shot.

Previous players had enough fun with it.

Well, as long as it's not one of those, SAO or Log Horizon ones where it's trapped in the game I might consider giving it a try. ;)

So I got a question, what are the restrictions on class abilities, other than the common sense stuff. I'm looking at a tank character, but with, what I hope is, with a twist. I'm not talking your everyday heavily armored sword and board, so yeah how much freedom are we looking at here?

So this is basicly SAO but without the being stuck and all? I like it. Also, about the classes, you might consider something I saw in one rpg: You are what you wear. You get class specific gear, but everyone can wear it. Which means you can be a mage one sec, and a rogue the other. Or you could just do it like SAO, and that you just need specific skills leveled to have specific gear.

Plenty of freedom, basically what you wear determines your class so feel free to come up with something crazy but fair.

I like the freedoms in this but I will probably limit this to a couple classes per player or rather active ones...hm. I'll think of something to make this fun for everyone but I like what you're saying.
