I'll elaborate more on this later, but I just wanted to get a general interest check. It would be the world of Steven Universe but before Rose Quartz gave her life for Steven; back during the war for earth. Original gem characters would be allowed. We're saying small group for now (about 5 maybe 6 people), and it might expand later to allow for more people.

Thinking about my character and wanted some clarification on Gems. Each one has an associated weapon, but does each one have a specific power? For example, Garnet has Future-Vision, Lapis Lazuli seems to be able to control water, and...what else? I am unsure if Peridot's 'abilities' are part of her nature, or just gem technology that she uses. Amethyst transforms a lot, but it is explained that all gems can transform anyways, and Pearl seems to be able to make projections (and murderous robot clones). Steven can create force fields in addition to his weapon being a shield, and has the ability to heal gems.

So I guess my question is, should I come up with an ability for my gem, or is that not something every gem has?

EDIT: I will most likely pick Amber.

Sorry I've been gone. I've been busy and my hearts not in this RP right now, so I was going to talk to @BlindingLight about letting her take over if she wanted since I was going to have her co-gm anyways. I'm glad to know people were interested, just sorry I couldnt find the time/inspiration to continue.

Even though I joined LokiLeo's Steven Universe RP, I'm still sticking around to see if this goes anywhere (I stubbornly do not unsubscribe from threads for months). Thanks for the update though, Jupiter, and no need to apologize; real life happens.
