Brief history: Born to a wealthy family, Koji was never told no by his parents when it came to money, although they were the exact opposite when it came to discipline. Koji's parents always let him do whatever he wanted and then they would just bail him out, (only literally once) when he got in trouble. They were also very lenient with money. His parents allowed him to spend their money on whatever or whoever he wanted,(not in a sexual way haha). So this led to him buying a group of friends that acted as his entourage. This entourage inflated his ego out of the sky and into space. They expected him to act almost as their “leader” and made him get a strong personality. So this made him do stupid and crazy stunts that gave him the adrenaline to always act crazy and eventually helped develop him into the charismatic jokester he is today.
Until one day. The Yamashiru family lost their money in a fraud case after the police investigated a case of about drugs that Koji had purchased. Koji's parents blamed him since they thought the law would've never looked into them if he hadn't been so stupid and had that many run-in with the police. Then they sent him away to live on the streets. Here his ego got deflated back down to Earth and he learned that to not get jumped or mugged he had to get in with the thugs and gangs by joking around with them all the time and being an overall nice guy, which deep inside he truly was. This also factored in to his humorous personality. Finally he actually joined a gang, where they robbed a house that Koji found SAO and a virtual reality headset in.

Brief Personality: Koji is almost always joking, but in more of a sarcastic way than a goofy childish way. This came from his brief time on the the streets, although he still has his moments when he acts like the stupid, carefree, playboy that he used to be. If you didn't know him would never be able to tell that Koji used to have money, but you also wouldn't be able tell that he doesn't have any money right now. You would probably just assume he's naturally charismatic and is sarcastic, as a result of living in a common household with a sarcastic family.
Koji is almost never serious sense he's extremely confident about his abilities in SAO. Although he still prefers fighting in groups sense he loves the members of his guild.
Appearance: Koji stands at 6'0 and 150 pounds with flat black hair that spikes up in the front. He is skinny although he's definitely not lanky or scrawny. Koji is attractive but not anywhere near as much as he thinks he is.

Armor : Red Leather Armor under a Black Cloak of Agility.
Weapon of Choice: A black spear with red leather wrapped around the middle and a cut in the middle of the tip making it even more lethal.

Skill set: Hunting, Leather Equipment, Acceleration, and Two Handed Weapons
Unique Skill: Lighting Strike- Koji quickly accelerates, looking like he teleported and hits his opponent dealing 3% more damage than normal. Almost no one can dodge this move.
