Only got into it around the time of Awakening. But I was a fan of FF Tactics and Tactics Orge, and FE kinda put the love for strategy and flashy animations together, so i was hooked.

Tbh, I only got into FE through Awakening too. Marth and Roy in Smash doesn't count whoops. I'm trying out the past games like FE7 and Sacred Stones atm but yeah the characters and flashy animation got me into it too.

Yeah. My friends call me the Ike-olyte. Preaching the word of the great grab god and the evil spawn that is the dededevil. Playing Ike in SMB made me give it a chance.

@Amaterasu Fire Emblem has always been my favorite. I once said that as a series Fire Emblem better than Final Fantasy was not as good. My friends wouldn't believe me till they played FE:A and I showed them all the others. The surprisingly old games even play really well and make you care.

Yeah, my friends who had played the past games said FE:A was lacking in story and plot and while I sort of just started playing the old games, I can honestly see why. Pity the characters that die stay dead tho. Also I agree with my friend when he said Lyn was a better female lord than Lucina.

That's why you play the game twice. Once with Casual/Normal, and the other Classic/Lunatic.

SOBS. I'm having a hard time even in Casual/Lunatic but that logic is true if you want to challenge yourself. I'm just a scrub who used most of my characters as meat shields, sniff.

Actually, he is pretty broken among 1st gen and he made a very broken Nah when shipped with Nowi. Always keep Donny.

Donnel is most excellent, but never underestimate a broken male Morgan (Galeforce inherited is pretty sweet, bare minimum, and if our good Donnel is the father, even better).

@Amaterasu Actually I'm not a fan of Donnel. He's got great stat growth but reclassing him was always a pain. Also Cordy and Robin forever.

Donnel kind of builds himself. Once you start leveling him up, just pick an advanced class that matches whatever skill grew the most... Or do what I did, and keep advancing, reverting, advancing, and repeat to entirely break the game.

Donnel was a pain to bring him out of Villager class, true, but it's worth it when yeah, the whole advancing and reverting process. Heck I even earned good money from him thanks to Armsthrift + Leif Blade + his ridiculous LUK stat. He was a cute country bumpkin imo.

True Cordy is a babe but Olivia most precious <3 I agree tho that any gender!Morgan could be the most broken unit in FE:A. Probably manakete!Morgan. I've yet to finish my first male route so I can't be sure.

Olivia, Cordelia, and Lissa. Married Lissa first time though on accident, then Olivia on the second, and Cordy on the third.
