Uhm.... just a question....

I was thinking about going choco knight.... although I know fire emblem have ridable wyverns.... Would 'skill' level be similar enough between the 2 to make it that if I switch between rides I still would have the same 'skill' level

@Evanist

You can have your own class, and I don't see any problem withe riding a chocobo into battle. Now the actions that the chocobo takes after you're dismounted will count as a character action, but you could progress to wyvern, pegasi, or more powerful chocobo in time.

As per sharing skill levels, riding a land based creature and air based creature is totally different, so they won't share a level.

Ok. Yeah, I'd have no problem with that, just make sure to specify the color of your mount at the beginning. If you want to swap to a different color later, that's fine, but it'll be an actual event that will happen in the RP.

Now despite what the ruling on race is, I'll leave that open to all races. Just explain how your character was trained by a moogle to be as such.

That's kinda what we were thinking. He'd start off with a yellow chocobo, and the rest would kinda be like mini class upgrades. He also thought he might be able to switch to a wyvern from a black chocobo (which can fly), at some point.

Sounds like a plan. I have no problem with that. Just try to think of what powers a wyvern would give the rider, or is he just going to be a stock wyvern rider.

I just wouldn't see the point of going to a mount that grants no benefit from something that gives you powers to aid your party/yourself. But it's a character's decision. I'm perfectly fine with a generic character, but you'll have to understand that you'll be outshined by your allies/ your enemies. The point of this rp is to play the character you want in this universe.

Well... I need to think about it... cause.... I don't want my guy to be stuck in the back seat as weaker then everyone else and such, with people going with new abilities constantly....

I could just go and work on going guns and such as a moogle... lol

Well, you can be a chocobo knight that transistions into a wyvern knight later. You'll be upon a flying mount and be able to cast more powerful offensive spells (I.E: Fire 3, Meteor (Full Strength) stuff like that. I like the idea, just tossing out a few things to think about.

Even if he never appears at all, if you're still accepting people would I be able to be My Unit (by this I mean my own chara, not necessarily Robin or with any relation to Validar or Grima or anything, literally just my own self-created appearance and character class etc. without Robin's plot-related stuffsies), and be married to him~?

Once you start getting into that, it becomes a little harder to justify. Why would the wife of Chrom (the effective queen of the land) be over in Ivalice? Robin feels like he hasn't fulfilled his purpose of putting down Grima and has doomed another world, and the others have their own reasons. Plus, you'll have to get around to explaining why your character was never there in the events of the game or why Chrom willingly left/cheated on you for another romance option to have Lucina. Once you start digging into all that, I don't think I can allow it, but you're more then welcome to join otherwise.
