In the Scorch post, he wonders about why they put children over 10 to sleep if Luke wants then to help anyway. Luke actually says any kids over 5 can help out. :)

It certainly wasn't what I had planned, but I suppose it works all the same. Lol.

Also, this would happen a bit later on (Or whenever we want, really) but there is a planned plotline for this RP. It involves Prof. Oak finding new technology that transforms Pokémon into an alternate form, their Human Forms. They would be half human, half pokemon. This would have been a 'once and then done' thing so that the Professor could go back and gather more data from it but something goes wrong and almost the entire village is changed, permanently and the device is stolen from Prof. Oak. The pokemon will then need to chase the thief down and get it back.

Again, it doesn't need to happen anytime soon, but it was something I had in the works. Who all would be interested in this specific plotline? It's very adventure-y rather than 'romp around and eat berries' sort of feel the RP starts with. Ye... Just let me know what you all think. I'll take everyone input into consideration.

Eeeeh.... To be honest, while I don't really like the "You're a pokemon; find berries" thing we've been doing, I'm not too partial to being anthro'd either. I like being a pokemon. I kinda do want to do a sort of Mystery Dungeon thing. I certainly wouldn't mind seeing how us pokemon react to humans showing up, but being human ourselves... can't say that's something I'm entirely interested in.

She didn't say Anthro, she said "humanized" As in you're a human with pokemon bits. Remember, catgirl and furry are not the same thing.

Still, I like being a pokemon. Feels new, feels adventurous.

That is what Luke would look like after the transformation. Also, if you'd prefer a less, 'Romp around and find berries and be all around cutesy,' this really wasn't the RP for 'Mystery Dungeon' explore and stuff and things. I dunno...

I thought 'Chill' made it obvious that it was more slice of life than true adventure. THOUGH, the plot is driven by characters and what they do and discover in the world. So you are more than welcome to explore that side of the RP. Exploring caves and dungeons and the like as you like. But... I dunno. It wasn't my primary focus on the RP. My primary focus has been, "I want to romp around as pokemon and do pokemon things and be cute and junk." Hence Rin. He's going to get into mischief, don't get me wrong.

Mer. I dunno how to explain it without sounding either bitchy or like a hypocrite. -digs her own hole- The RP doesn't have anything wrong with it. In fact, I am enjoying it. But I do feel that we at the very least need some sort of direction to take the RP or it'll fall flat on it's face again like it did the first time it was put up.

Also, I just think humanized pokemon look cool... I mean...



They don't necessarily need to have tails and ears. They could even look completely human. I guess 'half-human/half-pokemon' kind of spoke to there being tails. Which was the original intention, but the plot can be modified to cater to players.

I need to stop before I start going into Rose Picture Hunter mode... o-o;

I mean yeah, all i really want is for some direction, a bit of plot, or just something to do. I honestly don't care if we become human, though it does make me feel that we're detracting a bit from the "We be pokemon" feel. If that's what happens then I guess that's what happens. To put this in perspective: I'm an adventurous Aron. I want to go on an adventure!

@Lucius Cypher I'll work on possible poke plots and give you guys a few options to get us started off then. But that'll have to wait. I need sleep :p

I don't really mind either way, though Shani does want to grow up and travel with a trainer...hmm. Maybe she could be a trainer instead and travel with her pokemon-trainer hybrid friends...

I remember it being that they could switch back and forth at will, and used the human form to communicate with humans. Some Pokémon don't like it and only change when necessary, while others embrace it and use it often.
