I think we're at the point now that we choose a favorite, it doesn't have to be on the list, and lobby for it. Let the debates begin!

The only one I feel I wouldn't be able to help much with would probably be horror fantasy. I'm fine with any other.

Anyways, top picks would be steampunk fantasy, soft sci-fi and urban fantasy, but I'm fine with any of them really.

I'd vote high fantasy. I'm a huge fan of tolkien and paolini and assorted other high fantasy authors. If not high fantasy, I'd kind of want to do horror fantasy or soft sci-fi. I really dislike steampunk, but for the sake of the group I'd go with it.

Eh, if it means anything I'm okay with changing my vote for steampunk fantasy to high fantasy and just leaving the industrial revolution stuff with the appropriate races (ie. dwarfs or their equivalent).

Just expect me to throw in some weird curveball like giant suits of armour that basically act like mecha, or Nazi high elves, or utterly bizarre monsters if we end up with that. XD I mean I do have some less weird ideas (actually have a race of pseudo-Mongolian proud warrior types I like to insert into stuff lying around), but I like tossing in something a little wacky to make things less stuffy. ^^;

One of the earlier encountered monsters is girl who is a slug from the waist down. This is not the most nauseating monstergirl in the game by far. Uuuuuuuuuurgh...
