*Personality: If there's one thing that Donkey Kong undeniably loves, it's bananas. Donkey Kong adamantly adores bananas, and will stop at nothing to protect the Kong family's banana hoard and the beautiful island on which the animals run free... and the bananas grow sweet. DK is a heroic ape, though sometimes his hypos get up and this is when he gets in a bit of trouble with Mario; he is a passionate gorilla and as such would often kidnap Pauline much like his grandfather did. Outside of trouble, Donkey Kong is laid-back, choosing to chill in his treehouse hammock with his pal Diddy Kong.
*Powers/Skills: The first member of the DK Crew, Donkey Kong is bigger, faster, and stronger too. Donkey Kong can pick up and throw heavy objects due to his gorilla strength. DK is agile and can swing through trees, roll on the ground, and run quickly, while still maintaining a high degree of power.

In terms of offensive skills, Donkey Kong relies on brute force, preferring to punish his foes with his fists if diplomacy goes down the drain. Though from long-range, he will pick up the nearest heavy object and throw it; traditionally this has been barrels.
*Brief Bio: Donkey Kong, Jr., more widely-known as Donkey Kong, is the grandson of the original Donkey Kong, now known as the elder Cranky Kong. (Try not to think of the time too much; this is Mario World.) Donkey Kong is the hero and leader of Donkey Kong Island, and an adventurous spirit. If he is hurt, he is angry, and seeks justice through his own means. Usually, DK Island is plagued by the attacks of King K. Rool and his Kremling kronies, but DK and his buddies always rise to the challenge and drive off the Kremling Krew's nefarious schemes. Lately, Donkey Kong Island has nearly fallen to two other fearsome foes: the Tiki Tak Tribe, a gang of sentient tribal instruments who wanted to take over DK Island, and the Snowmads, a gang of Antarctic Viking warrior-animals who also wanted to take over DK Island. Both times, DK drove them off. Often, DK would be invited to participate in Mario's various sports tournaments; despite DK's occasional mischief, there seems to be no bad blood between them. The mighty Kong is quite a match in tennis, kart-racing, baseball, and other sports. After the Snowmad incident, DK thought that he would finally have some time to relax, but soon after, he found himself whisked away from Donkey Kong Island...
