Staccato: a sound that is constantly coming on and off, like a machine gun.

Legato: a sound that is constantly continuous, like a hum.

@boomlover Basically staccato is in bursts of sound as Legato is a constant wave of sound. The terms are commonly used for musical practices.

It looks like everyone has posted now? Unless I'm missing something. Plus just a suggestion, adhering to a strict posting order isn't the best idea. I mean, obviously people should be polite an wait for others to be caught up, but if two characters are interacting specifically just between themselves, then let them post as they need to. If it's in this early stage before everyone has met up, though, then a bit more restraint is good so that some people don't move unnaturally fast IC compared to other's who post slower.

EDIT: @The Whacko hasn't posted. Like at all. IC or OOC.
