Edit:Question, do I have to have droids for my crews and ground forces, or would it be acceptable to have crews made up of the sentient races?

The CiS didn't really have any sentient races that actually fought. They were all droids. Any actual organics who fought were always ship captains and generals.

Well I mean this is alternate timeline. It's not impossible to think there might be at least a few more sentient involved in the fighting on the CiS.

The CiS didn't really have any sentient races that actually fought. They were all droids. Any actual organics who fought were always ship captains and generals.


Not entirely true there were multiple like deck officers and mercy but a majority of the army and such were droids. But there was the Nemo diane defense forcce

They were actually quite a few CIS affiliated sentients who fought in the war, most notably the Geonosians, Umbarans, and the Quarren during the Mon Calamari Civil War. While it is still true that a large majority of the CIS' military might was through droids, they still had meatbags fighting for them.

I've got some mild interest, by the by, not just dropping a comment and leaving. I am also quite fluent in the lore, being as I am a massive fan of the setting o3o

Makes sense. Though I think in the future acquiring the things necessary for a specific upgrade may require more than just posting that you're going after it, and then a later post that you got it. Might need to be a side op or something, or even something that can be done in private where I'll GM the enemy forces you have to get through to get what you're after. But of course, those kinds of things can also be acquired through other ways like politics and trading.


Seems pretty fair.

Though right now I was able to capture a professor who, under torture, might aid in upgrading hyperdrive systems a little. To keep it fair, do you want me to let her escape? Or can I keep her right now?

I'd say more range, more speed through hyperdrive or a more precissious drop point out of hyperspace (IE for ambush attacks behind a fleet or something). I'd leave that to you.

Well TBH all hyperdrives are pretty accurate like that already. The thing is that Hyperspace routes are very limited due to the fact of the dangers of discovering new ones due to asteroids etc.

Well, IIRC @Aktoria said that ships don't necessarly need to be cannon later on. But I personally think it would be a good idea if you'd stick with cannon ones to start and once you get some resource points you can start manifacturing those from other universes/own designs.

Also, maybe another idea. Experts used for Hyperdrive construction of mega-ships. As I think that the bigger the ship, the better the hyperdrive should be. Again these are just ideas and I honestly wouldn't mind if my captured prof. ends up being useless.

Well, that'd make sense due to the larger the ship, the larger the space for a hyperdrive. This applies for generally anything, though.

Also, are ranks like Grand Master avalible (Jedi Order)?

Plus, where's the IIRC?
