Found an interesting related game that I thought I'd drop here if anyone was interested. You can get it on steam.

I actually have that game and it's a lot of fun. Normally I don't really like the whole turn based game genre but that game is one big exception. You get to make your own catchphrases and everything! Every time my team goes to turn into the equivalent of a Zordon's in the game I have them say 'Holy sh** we need a robot!'. It's just really fun.

@rocketrobie2 How did you change what they say when they summon Mecha?

I'll have to get that at some point. My laptop sucks balls though so I doubt it could support Steam.

@Duthguy Its under settings or something. You can change a whole load of saying in the game and even change the name of the robot.

Which versions of Power Rangers has everyone seen or like? I'm the biggest fan of the classic Rangers [US version], but I also enjoyed Zeo, what I've seen of Time Force, Mystic Force, Jungle Fury, Samurai, and Megaforce. There's also the one with only three Rangers and two side Rangers [baby blue and maroon]. The Green Ranger in that had a cool gimmick and their mentor was a hamster I think... Keep meaning to try to watch SPD, and that's about the only other one I'd consider watching.

I've only regularly seen Jungle Fury but I've seen a few of Samurai and a movie when I was little with some red robo-dog that was really cool. Obviously Jungle Fury is my favourite.

I've seen Regular, Zeo, Turbo, Space, and a few others. Zeo honestly had the coolest powers but Space was the best story-wise in my opinion.

Zeo had the coolest suits [the helmets were kinda lame though] and was probably the best stretch of PR since the original US version. Being a direct continuation didn't hurt, but making Tommy go full on Red leader hurt. I was glad when Jason returned to take the Gold Ranger mantle and I loved the pyramid them and the whole story behind it. However it was sadly the last series Billy showed up in.

Also I'll go ahead and get this out of the way since the wife brought it up earlier....

This game will be a nice medium between the campy classic series and the more gritty and R rated fan film of recent success. Language isn't something I'm used to in all of my games, however I can deal with damn, ass, bitch, dick, and shit. Think of something on the CW like Arrow or the Flash, with a tad bit more freedom with language since you can't use all the ones I listed on regular tv. Drugs, suggestive themes, etc. are also open for exploration story wise and in this continuity if a Ranger wants to be gay that's perfectly fine.

Get ready for it...

Well they made Zack a coke addict in that fan film, and the creator of something like Tai-bo. But he was a beast in combat LOL

I have MMPR, part of Zeo, (Turbo didn't air here in the Netherlands until some time in the 2000's so I never watched that) In space, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue Time Force and Wild Force, I'm contently watching Ninja Storm the one with only three Rangers and two side Rangers [navy blue and crimson] and yeah the mentor is indeed a hamster or something.

@Izaka SazakaSo... yeah you didn't get that sheet finished. This is a bummer cause I really dig the makings of your Red Ranger. If a spot opens up later on you're free to come back into the fold.
