Appearance: ”... *twitch*” Fairly tall by average standards, with a resting bitch face.
Personality: To call Olivier an outstanding human being would be, to put it simply, wrong. In a few words, he’s the kind of person who doesn’t really care about anyone but himself or his immediate social circle, and only helps others because he cares about how people think of him. In a few more words, he doesn’t make a habit of intervening unless someone asks him to. While he doesn’t care about or feel any sort of obligation to help people he hasn’t met before, he does care about how people view him can’t stand it when people hold him in contempt, look down on or laugh at him. Although he’s better about it now, his anger issues were at the point where he used to just lash out whenever he felt like he wasn’t being taken seriously. He’s good enough at sympathizing with others who’re looked down upon, and is definitely more inclined to lend a helping hand of his own volition when it comes to those types. Olivier’s also pretty comfortable with ignoring the rules when it benefits him, but doesn’t like doing it when it’ll have negative repercussions on people who haven’t offended him and because there’s a chance he could get caught. In that respect, having a Receiver is good because it means he’ll do it a lot less than usual (probably). He doesn’t like it when people lie to him, despite being perfectly fine with doing it himself. Yes, he knows how hypocritical this is. No, he probably won’t change if you point it out. He also doesn’t like it when people bend the rules to the detriment of others, but this is something he’s not willing to do because he’s “better than a filthy politician”. In regards to his personal growth, he’s surprisingly unconcerned about his own strength. He likes feeling and being strong - who doesn’t? - but he doesn’t really go out of his way to pursue power. He can put a lot of effort into it if motivated properly, though.
Type: Ability-Type
Ability: Barrier  - The ability to create and control force fields of various shapes and sizes, with durability proportional to the amount of energy put into constructing them and control proportional to the amount of force fields in question. While it can’t make Escheresque, alien geometry, it’s capable of making a field in pretty much any simple 2D or 3D shape and then moving it around. Though it may not seem so at first glance, it’s definitely a very versatile ability.
Skills: With quite a few years of savate and fencing (esp. sabre) under his belt, it’s safe to say Olivier knows how to handle himself in a fight. He is also a multilinguist, capable of fluent French and passable English and Japanese, and has developed superb anger management skills as a result of his adoptive mother’s tutelage. As a result, he’s mostly capable of being kind of normal when he’s made the butt of a joke or when someone does something that offends his sensibilities. He’s also very efficient in the sense that he’s good at determining and using up exactly how much is required, whether that be stamina for an errand, the efficacy for a strategy, or aether for his ability. Which is good, because he doesn’t want to put too much effort into things he doesn’t really want to do.
Brief Backstory: Olivier definitely has issues with his biological parents. They went through all this trouble and then just ended up leaving him to become Someone Else’s Problem. Though he would later be taken in by a decent-if-caustic Aether researcher due to his Tuner status, he didn’t have much of a fun time as in an orphanage. Because he was a bit of a scrawny, weak-looking kid, he would often serve as the chewtoy for the older, bigger kids. Most of his personality can be chalked up to experience there, from his semi-confrontational attitude to his apathy for others. Fortunately, he’d be adopted a bit after he became ten years old and has managed to live a bit of a normal life. Now that he’s old enough, he’s packed his bags and moved to Japan to attend Akiyama-Kreuz Academy at the behest of his adoptive mother.

Personality: Confident. Active. Outgoing. Energetic. These are all words that absolutely do not describe Tomoe Miki. Miki is a shy woman who deeply lacks in any sort of confidence and any sort of energy. She is very self-conscious about her weight, as sweets and lack of exercise have not done her any favors in that department. She is also highly disorganized, her workspace a mess of papers and various other items, and her home even worse. Miki is easily frightened or embarrassed(most social contact manages to do both) and tends to try and keep to herself to avoid situations in which she is left a quivering wreck. Moreso than she already is. Miki has a habit of apologizing a lot, even for things that she absolutely does not need to apologize for. Exercise is her mortal enemy, and she is actively afraid of it as she tends to collapse not long after beginning any kind of serious physical training. Miki likes cute things, video games, and anime and manga. She is also highly intelligent and extremely intellectually capable.
Abilities or Weapons: N/A
Skills: Miki has little in the note of skills of any sort. However, she does have a deep knowledge of Aether, Static, and the mechanics behind Tuner power growth. Miki can also name every single Kamen Rider character off the top of her head, has an encyclopedic knowledge of super robots and magical girls, and can swiftly identify most anime or manga characters. Even from the ones she doesn't watch. As can be guessed from her appearance, most physical skills are beyond her. She is also very clumsy.
Brief Backstory: From a young age, Miki displayed a high level of intelligence and interest in science. Miki was gifted in scientific study even as a child, and experienced a growing fascination with Tuners and Receivers as she grew. She admits that this is in part because they're like a real-life anime. Regardless of her reasons, this focus grew throughout her entire life. The already shy-in-nature girl devoted herself to her studies and became less and less equipped to deal with people. When her high level of intelligence and remarkably in-depth research gained the attention of Akiyama-Kreuz's research department, she nearly fainted from being contacted by them. However, her excitement outweighed her shyness and Miki managed to become the researcher in charge of analyzing Tuner power growth and the Synch Ratio between Tuners and Receivers.

Personality: Keiichi is a kind of person who doesn't like jokes, having absolutely no sense of humor, relying on topics that actually makes at least some sense in order to talk with people. Still, he is not the type to offensively ignore people, or defensively ignore people without reasons that can be easily explained. He is also an emotional person, with his minor emotions frequently appearing on his face, readable by anyone that bothers to look at his face.

Type: Weapon

Weapon: A two-handed claymore with the both ends of the guard being a sharp edge and the blade emitting a purple glow. The sword's hardness, sharpness, and brightness vary with the Synch Rate.

Skills: Keiichi spends most of his free time drawing something, although the content can vary depending on the day. For example, it might be an anime-alike painting just a day after he drew an abstract painting. He is also good at sports to some extent.

Brief Backstory: Keiichi was born in a rural part in Japan, being raised in a small community where everyone cares for others around them, especially the more active children, which prefers to play outside instead of playing games in their houses. Keiichi was one of them, forming bonds with others, which would've lasted for a long time if he wasn't a Tuner candidate. Being a candidate meant the community itself would actively encourage him to head to Akiyama-Kreuz Academy since there aren't many Tuners or candidates. He initially disagreed, but with his friends encouraging to head to the Academy, he had to accept and head there, leaving his friends there.

Personality: A very grounded and mature young woman who tends to take too much responsibility on her shoulders, especially when her brother is involved. She's a bit of a worry wart and tends to be overprotective of those she cares about. In fact, its hard for her to get that as a Reciever, she needs to rely on her tuner. She'd rather carry all the burden on herself and fight her own battles. She can't stand causing someone else trouble, while wanting help others with their problems. It's this attitude that kept her from being perfectly compatible with her twin, which is why the school found her a different tuner when she enrolled.
Skills: Because of her desire to be strong enough to protect her brother, she's taken classes in both judo and kendo from an early age.
Brief Backstory: The eldest of fraternal twins, she was genetically modified to be a Reciever. Her brother had went under the scientist radar until several months later when there was two fetuses instead of one. Time passed after the twins were born and to the surprise of scientists, the younger twin had shown signs of being a Tuner. Many theorized that growing in the same womb as a Reciever may have had some effect on the other twin. Whichever the case, there had been hope that they would form a powerful Reciever and Tuner pair. Unfortunately, the Michi's overprotectiveness proved detrimental to their growth. They were forced to find new partners, much to Michi's chagrin.

Name: Naoki Masayuki

Appearance: 
Personality: He is a rather spontaneous and airheaded boy who seems to only ever get serious about music. Being scatterbrained and spacey, its hard for him to concentrate hard. When people talk to him, occassionally words just go through one ear and out the other. He can only ever focus if he's listening to or playing music. Despite his ditzy nature, he's a good hearted boy who easily considers every person he meets as another new friend.
Type: Ability
Abilities: Sound Manipulation: The ability to control any sort of soundwaves. This can be done by amplifying or muffling a sound, turning the sound into something painful to the ears, or even creating a sort of sonic boom effect with the sound. With a better relationship with his partner, his control over sound can get more intricate and percise. For instance, in a room full of people, he can have such control that only certain people in that room can hear a certain sound.
Skills: He is a pretty skilled musician, capable of playing the violin, piano/electric keyboard, and sing.
Brief Backstory: From a young age, Naoki was always considered weaker than his sister. That and his sacchrine attitude made him the target of bullies. Often his sister would come running to his defense and it was one of these days that it was accidently discovered that her brother was a Tuner. His cries had been loud that day, far too loud. Loud enough for Michi to hear from the other side of the block and loud enough to hurt the ears of his bullies. When the scientist found out, they saw this as a good opportunity to make a powerful Reciever and Tuner pair. But, of course, things didn't turn out how they expected. Michi was too protective and Naoki would let her making growth for either twin impossible unless they were seperated. 
several years before they came to the academy, Naoki had discover a love for music. He found he could use his powers to make the music he made sound even better and that love grew more and more. He would take all the time to learn every instrument he could, but so far he's only learned how to play violin and piano. He hopes to learn guitar one day too.

She has one steel plates strapped on both sides of her waste, and tends to wear lots of accessories for "safe measures."

Personality: 
She is basically a bundle bursting with joy and energy. She always looks on the bright side regardless how bad things are.  On one side she is a complete child at heart and isn't afraid to make embarrassing side remarks. She also loves using this attitude to push all the wrong buttons on people. On the other side she mocks people and is completely insensitive to others feelings, especially to the people she doesn't like. she is very quick to judge, so first impression matter drastically with her. She has trouble feeling emotions and how other people feel. Probably her most dangerous trait is that she simply can't comprehend death and the significant of life. Her two main emotions is happiness or joy and anger or jealously.

So basically, with the help of the receiver, she can change that way atoms are connected to form the shape of any object she wants. The bigger the shape the more energy she needs to make it, same thing with precision. She can only focus on one element at a time and the more precise the item she makes it the more energy it takes. Her weapon of choice is a metal stick about five feet tall with a blade on one side. This requires very little energy and is very easy to wield. Her distance of rearranging atoms is only about ten feet away from here. Any further will take more energy than its usually worth to create and precision becomes much more limited. It is also possible, if in deep sync with her receiver, to change the element as well though this require extreme amounts of energy, and theoretically she could also create and remove items for existence, though the energy they believe it would take, seems impossible to achieve.

Skills: 
Natural swords woman and martial artist.
Is a excellent liar, not that anyone knows that of course.
Has really good luck that she considers a skill even though it really isn't.
Shows no mercy to anyone in battle, and does it with a smile.

Brief Backstory: 
Well her story isn't happy one in the slightest. She doesn't remember much of her childhood with her original parents but she remembers always smiling with them...and there death. Her father owned and taught multiple activities at a dojo and her mom worked with him. One of Aletha's favorite activities was fencing. Aletha also had a older sibling called Lilly though she doesn't remember anything about her. Her parents got involved in a terrible accident and died including her older sister. What's worse is that it happens right in front of her. I'll leave the Gory description out but what basically happens is that they stopped at the side of the road to pick her up from Nero's house, her best friend at the time. Some idiot going way past the speed limit hits the car, just before she got in, in such a way that when they crashed the front of the car was used like a ramp and knock the complete top half of the car off, with everyone else inside. She just stood there in shock unable to responed to what just happens staring at her family's corpses. Nero's mother quickly brought her inside after hearing the crash from inside and called the police. After much discussion and paperwork they finally manage to make Nero's parent her legal guardians. Within moments after she saw what happened she thought this thing was normal since she always heard about people dying on the TV and decided to do what she always did best. Smile.

He has few interest but if you get him talking about one of them he will go on for hours and still not get through half of the things he wants to say on the subject. He constantly needs someone to look up to to help him strive to become better, for the better or worse.

Brief Backstory: 
Him and Aletha were best friends as long as he can remember. His first day of school he was extremely shy and was a prime target for bullies. After a few days he met  Aletha. She ask him a few question and he mumbled a response and it seemed like it didn't matter because she said she liked him and want to be friends. He though she was crazy standing up to thoughts bullies and wasn't afraid of anything. Very soon the accident happened and they became a whole lot closer now that they were living together and practically became brother and sister. He began looking up to her thinking that she's gone through so much and yet can still smile like nothing had happened. He thought she was very strong and wanted to be just as brave as her, though he found that extremely hard and ended up falling back into place having to be protected by her every time he was in trouble. He became especially socially awkward when he started to read more complex books and play video games, shutting himself in his room for most of the day when at home. There, in the virtual world, he felt like he was just as strong as, or even stronger than Aletha and became addicted to the games, but not to any extreme. He never seemed to find fault in Aletha decisions even when they seemed obviously bad, though the repercussions he continuously reminded her about usually stopped her.

Personality: Keiko, unlike her twin, is a bright tomboy, although she still acknowledges herself as a woman. She has acknowledged that communication is an important aspect of her life, being friendly to those who doesn't intentionally cause major harm to someone or something. However, she can be impulsive at times, causing her to make wrong decisions at times.

Skills: Keiko is somewhat good at playing baseball, having learned it out of sheer willingness to do so. She also learned primitive first aid, in order to ease herself while recovering from less minor injuries. She is also adept at acting, more than her twin, Eri. Unlike her twin, however, she usually uses it just to have fun with people, not to create another persona.

Brief Backstory: Keiko was born as a twin, with the other one being Eri. She was raised by parents happy to help her just like her twin, especially their father who actively taught her acting to both of the twins. While Eri wasn't particularly interested in anything, Keiko was interested in baseball, making her actually play the sports after school. However, when she was in a junior high school, the parents ended up divorcing after few days of heated arguments about cheating, with the mother taking Eri and the father taking Keiko. The event still remains in both of the Twins' heart, However, unlike Eri, Keiko moved to another school, where most treated the newcomer warmly, requiring her to actually talk with others and not remain quiet, so she remained open, unlike her twin.

Personality: Kakeru is, simply put, a sensitive person. While he is a very friendly and confident person if nobody or nothing disrupts his peace, he would be swung around by his emotions if something happens. His reaction to the emotion can be positive or negative depending on the events that led to him feeling the emotion.

Type: Ability

Ability: Water Emission - Kakeru can emit a stream of pure water from his fingers. The maximum size and the maximum pressure of the water depend on the Synch Rate.

Skills: Kakeru is skilled at cooking, frequently trying to add something to an existing recipe in an attempt to make it delicious. He also has an experience operating laser guns, and he can sprint fast when required.

Brief Backstory: Kakeru was born in a less rural part of Saitama Prefecture, close to both Tokyo and Ibaraki. He was raised by a family who wanted him to become a confident person loving various sports, from running to laser guns. His parents were mostly successful in this regards, with the boy picking up cooking in addition to various sports the parents taught him. The times the boy spent with his parents were wonderful to him. However, the boy had to realize his fate when he became a third-grader of a junior high school, being told he had to leave his parents' home to Ibaraki since he was born as a tuner. He initially ended up destabilizing himself hearing that, taking some days to stabilize himself back and accept the fate.

Name: Saotome Kaede

Profession: Teacher (Science), secondarily a researcher
Personality: Even interacting with fellow teachers, Kaede retains a professional and calm air. Even if this is, for instance, after she set her sleeves on fire in a simple lab demonstration for the third time that year. She's almost too calm and collected... though those who've seen her drink are well aware that she's more shy than as icy as she appears. The science teacher is also more willing to hang around with students than is entirely normal, though this is to a degree encouraged.
Incredibly fond of cats, rabbits, and snakes, despite how little the three go together.
Abilities or Weapons: Receiver
Skills: Although a good teacher and with plenty of practice, Kaede dreads science experiments and employing her otherwise exceptional cooking skills: clumsiness. If a task presents an easy way to accidentally injure yourself or something can be tripped over, she'll find it. Aside from academic criteria, the teacher is versed in basic self defence, can take care of plants, and is oddly good at holding her drink.
Brief Backstory: Unlike almost all modern receivers, Kaede wasn't genetically engineered to have the ability: she was one of those natural mutants that simply happened to luck into it. Of course, this meant she was never expected to team up with anyone in particular, and it went unnoticed until she was completing her more advanced studies--on aether, in particular; a class test to see who might be a Tuner threw up her rather surprising result.
Staying in academia a while, the pale girl eventually received an offer from the Akiyama-Kreuz academy; her area of study was useful to its more academic purpose... and they needed another science teacher. Naturally, the fact that there might be another paired Tuner and Receiver factored into it, but over the past three years, she's not shown any inclination of a suitable pairing. 
Once again, she's been made the homeroom teacher for a first year class.
