Last game I picked up was Fallout 4.
Which I like, but I hate the reviews for it.
"The game has many problems, and those problems are all we've listen in this review. 9.6/10" - IGN.

I'm now holding out for Horizon Zero Dawn. Which looks freaking awesome. (Since there wont be anymore Batman Arkham ---- games. And that my friend, is a terrible, terrible shame)

I feel like Arkham was wrapped up pretty well. Hopefully DC keeps pumping out quality super hero games and force Marvel to work a bit harder; an Arkham City-quality Spider-Man game would make my life complete.

I got bored with Arkham halfway through City, tbh. I only finished City because I liked the story. ://

The next Batman game is coming out via Telltale... and quite frankly, I just hope it doesn't ruin all the momentum the prior Batman games gave it.

The gameplay can be a bit repetitive, but with the difficultly cranked up I can enjoy it. The best part of those games were the stories. Gah. So great. That and Mark Hamil's Joker. You can never get enough of his Joker.

City was the only one I didn't much care for. I'm still on the boss battle with Freeze and I still haven't gone up against Strange. But I've defeated both Asylum and Knight.

Tellgames is making a game for everything. lol

Though, I really did enjoy their Borderlands series.

@FacePunchI've used the internet as my guide. Then I gave up. I haven't tried again since.

I kind of feel like Assassin's Creed, and even Shadow Of Mordor did the whole combo-counter fighting system a lot better than Arkham did.
Bruce wouldn't hit thugs five times before they'd be knocked out. Nor would he employ most of the tactics used in by Batman in the Arkham series.

Assassins Creed is too easy, imo. You can kill ten fools with only two buttons blindfolded and tied down to a chair while being waterboarded.

Shadow of Mordor had a better combat system than both series combined.

Assassin's Creed

I hated those games. My friends forced me to play them... Never Again. *Shudders*

I did enjoy the rendering in them though.

Maybe not, but it wouldn't be as fun if you could just knock out people with one punch. In Knight they did it very well as Bruce got more and more brutal thanks to Joker's Blood. It was a very different fighting style than his normal, and worked quite well in the storyline.

I agree. Then again, I feel like the immersion would be broken if the fights were longer in that game. I think Black Flag and Rogue did combat the best, as Unity and Syndicate seem to be cranking up the difficulty by making the fights too long.

Which, I hate in terms of game design. Just becuse a fight takes longer does not make it more difficult. Great game design is something that punishes poor playing and rewards great playing, and sadly, there's not enough of that in games these days. The Dark souls series is really the closest thing there is, and those games are also very repetitive.

Black Flag just might be my favorite game of the series. Taking on ships was probably my favorite part. I used to get kind of close and then swam to the next ship to take out everyone on the other ship. Great times, great times.

Never could get into Assassin's Creed. Probably because I found the first one monotonous.

I think Rogue is the best game in the series. It improved on every aspect of AC4.

I'd argue Edward is a more fun protagonist than Shay, though.

Sadly I have given up hope that there will ever be a good Superman game. Maybe it will happen but I just don't know.
