@ravenDivinity I mean maybe PA starts, then some thousands of years after that a new event is pivotal enough to warrant a changing of the age and another acronym begins at 1 again.

My reasons for that thought is that the civilizations of Ansus have the potential to be up to 60K years old, I mean A.D. is good for us IRL right now but I doubt it will last for another 48,000 years.

@Guilty Spark: That's true. The problem arises when we try to find an event that is significant enough to justify another calendar after PA.

@ravenDivinity Yeah, I know, I just wanted to comment on the possibility of such a thing occurring. It may end up, in the future of Ansus, that they call the beginning of the IC year one of "after revival/resurrection" etc.

@Guilty Spark: The event could have happened somewhere around when Daen lived. That would be convenient since it divides PA in half.

Alright, first IC post is up! You can have your character resurrect anywhere you want, and you can have your character wake up with either one artifact or no artifact at all. You may also include some sort of narrative of their dying moments or whatever, like I did.

@Dead Cruiser Ok second oldest. But I mean that's a vampire. He's expected to live that long. For a vampire that only middle aged. Mark is 400-600 and in his prime forever. If he didn't go exploding a volcano on himself easily would have still been alive for the RP (Something I considered asking for).

Yeah, I have my own big, cool resurrection post for this character, but it doesn't fit so I'm going to make a whole new one as well.

Edit: Let's be honest though, if it fit the scenario I'd probably copy-paste it too. I once read 67 pages of IC to catch up with an RP that died after I made one post, so now I'll admit to cutting the usual corners.

@Corvidae Following the Horror Wars, there may have been a wave of piracy and lawlessness that emerged from a mass exodus of refugees. People took to the seas for foreign lands, thinking them to be safer than Ansus. Crow would have been born in a time after the Unification, and one of the first kings of the united Ansus may have been fighting to restore law to the seas surrounding his land.


I like it! As it's quite late where I'm at, sleep beckons, but you've my full approval; depending on whether or not we need to reach some sort of unanimous consensus, I'll make the necessary alterations come morning.
