I love all the worldbuilding stuff you've done so far @Classpet! I'm curious about the views etc. on other magical creatures that were found in the HP universe like the Hippogryphs, Dragons etc? in the American world? That'd be cool to know!

As a teeny idea for the creatures and things, maybe people would have to have some kind of license and/or take some kind of test to prove their knowledge before being allowed to keep/own one? Kind of like how we have the Dangerous Wild Animals license in our world if you want to keep stuff like large carnivores or venomous snakes?

That's a neat idea, Permits. I think as far as dragons go they'd be illegal considering how hard they'd be to hide. Other magical things like threstals and blast ended shrewts would probably be things that wizards would need a license for.
I think there will probably some of those sort of creatures in the lake (like grindlyows) but no mermaids!

New cannon stuff for this rp
-I'm keeping mermaids and goblins in Europe, America has dwarves witch are in the same sort of boat as goblins and function in a similar way
-North america has more house elves than Europe, though European house elves often find the American house elf ways disgusting and improper(that is if they knew about America).
-The ceiling of the dining hall has painted angels and what not and they do move and stuff
-wizards need permits to keep dangerous and exotic pets, this could be a job choice for your character if you wanna be more indepth

Do you guys think i should do a time skip to get things going again?

I think I'll keep everyone together by having everyone have the same DADA class, possibly the same charms class. If any one has a better idea i'm all for it. :>

yeah I think a time skip would work well, and DADA and Charms being universal for everyone works for me :3

I got a time skip up, It's basically just what you're character did after Brunch, Oliver went off to the court yard to show off his animagi skills but you don't have to tag along. I described a few other places like the lake and the meadow but if you want to make up a different place that's fine as well. I'd suggest breaking up into groups of three but do whatever you want really :>

Hopefully this isn't dead yet!
