Damn it! This definitely isn't a normal wolf. There wasn't much to go off but in his recent history, it was pretty obvious. Randy ran to the centre of the path, where the wolf darted off to. Randy turned to the cloaked man. He walked over and nodded his head. "What's up with you? Why you got a knife like that man?" He interrogated. His glove sounded off mechanical whirs and clicks as he moved it. Randy pointed to the direction where the wolf went. "You want to come with me?"

"No, I will stay here" He told the other guy. He gripped his knife and dug it into the ground for stability. He was close to giving up soon but she kept fighting it.

The wolf's cries fade off in the near distance. Nothing is herd from him for a moment until a shrill crash echo's amongst the trees followed by two heavy thuds.
It is quickly followed by the ferocious barks of the large hound.

Randy went to help out the dude as he collapsed to the ground. He offered a hand, although his head snapped to the loud barks and thuds. "C'mon, I can't leave you like this."

"No" He said. He had almost given in and you could see it by the expression on his face. He pulled the knife from the ground. He pushed himself up and lent against the tree while fighting with himself internally.

Randy rolled his eyes. For God's Sake. Randy shook the collapsed man a little. "Hey! Hey, you okay?" Nothing. He probably passed out. Randy put his back against a tree and sat down. Wolves were great but he couldn't leave some guy passed out her like this. He would just have to wait. Why on earth wouldn't it be safe?

The distant barks ceased with a sharp whelp.
A heavy thundering and crashing began to roar through the ground and trees as it approached the two arguing men.
.....

Just outside of their vision it stopped.

A deep heavy breath rustled through the leaves.
Branches parted ways as the wolf came plummeting into the clearing before them, rolling and skidding across the dirt.

A heavy mist washed into the little clearing and a large deep shadow followed.
With every step the ground vibrated, small trees fell and shrubs were ground into the dirt.

As the mist settled the hungry beast stood before them.

Cal woke up pretty quickly but he looked different because the look on his face wasn't fear but it was a smirk as he held his knife in confidence and he seemed to be looking around slightly, looking for his first victim. (This is his power although it is a curse)

Randy stood up as the wolf barrelled through the trees. He quickly went to it's side. "Woah, little buddy. Hang in there." It was then the beast came forward. No way he could outrun the thing. Randy smirked, nothing like a little warm up. He stood up and heard the other guy move. "You awake? We got company." Randy commented. He entered a relaxed boxing pose. The gauntlets cores in the centre of the hands glowed blue. Although, the mist was pretty eerie. It's go time.

Cal ran off, hearing movement in the upper part of the forest and ended up seriously injuring a deer. This is what happened at night as he lost control of his mind.

The beast eyes Randy, leans forward and gives a ferocious, foul smelling, gusty, wet roar. It drags on longer then any human breath possibly could.

It raises it's large fearsome claw and brings down a heavy slow swipe.

"Phew! You need a mint." Randy commented as he attempted to wave off the bad breath. A large swiping attack came forward, but this beast was slow and cumbersome. Randy rolled left. "Alley-oop". The arm came down, and Randy aimed a nasty hook into it's attacking arm. Randy will always remember the time he got jumped by a couple of reptilian kids. He had his gloves and sent one out of the alley way and into a lamp post. Now that was fun.

The beast missed by far and was struck in return, but he was no reptilian kid.
He seemed rooted in place more so then appearance would have it.
His skin a solid bark, as strong as any metal armour.

The same arm swung again, this time his wide gaping jaw snapped after it, the beast would follow that up by moving forward and slamming his free arm overhead at his opponent trying to squash him flat.

Damn this thing was tough. No matter, they all go down in the end. As the beast swung with the same arm, it pushed Randy back too. He got pushed upwards a little too, but it didn't connect all too well. He narrowly escaped the jaws. As his feet planted the ground, he crouched down and sprung upwards, on the inside of the other attack. Randy lifted his right fist up, going for an uppercut that would connect to the jaw.

It connected well, the beast didn't flow with the hit at all.
Having taken the full grunt of that blow the jaw slid slightly off to the side, dangerous teeth grinding on teeth as it slipped out of socket and disconnected.

Realising what happened the beast coils back and howls, swinging its head in discomfort.

Enraged it just attempts a continued charge at Randy trying to trample him down, swiping up the wolf as it passes and disappearing into the forest.

Tianna ran into the forest and saw what was happening and started yelling at the beast with a growl to her voice. "Why don't you pick on someone your own size" She growled at him as her eyes changed color and she started changing into a wolf.

Injured and outnumbered the beast took its easy meal, (the injured wolf) and ran off into the forest.

@carla6677 Randy was forced to back step and weave in between each attack. It was then when a women came into the clearing and apparently scared it off. "Uhhhh, thanks lady." He greeted.
