Personality: Loyal to a fault, Kicho depends on her friends like they were her family. She puts their needs ahead of her own, often struggling with self worth issues. She feels she's in their debt because of her former stupidity, and can't help but comparing herself to them, and wonder if she's dragging them down.

Naturally decisive (albeit impulsive) before meeting them, Kicho believes in doing what's right without a moments hesitation. She much prefers to actively be working than being allowed to sit and think, as that gives any negative thoughts she has time to come to surface. As such, Kicho is always busy, whether or not she is.

A final part of her personality, passed on to her by her mother, is her need to cheer other people up. She always wears a smile, and won't pass her problems onto others.

History:

"Dad, why are you a ninja? Why don't you just work at the shrine like momma? Then you'd be home more."

"It's because I love you two that I'm a ninja, I have something worth protecting. Someday you'll understand."

Kicho grew up adoring her parents. Her mother was so beautiful, and her father so strong, and both very loving. It always bugged Kicho which path she wanted to chose, to be a Miko, or a ninja, but the words from her father helped her make up her mind. She wanted to be a ninja too, and protect what was important to her. Kicho had a fairly normal academy experience, and was placed in a team as a kunoichi.

Kicho left for her first mission first mission. They didn't even make it to the mission site before sensei was called away, cancelling the mission. Kicho was left with her teammates, Kareha Senkai, and Keikoku Antare. Kicho was overly eager, and suggested they continue their mission, without sensei, as they had the specifics of the mission. Eventually, she got Keikoku to agree, though Kareha was harder. Leaving her behind, they continued, and seemed to be doing well before they encountered a marauder. Keiko suggested acting their way out of it, but Kicho was overly confident, and engaged him. Even injured from before, he was more than a match for the genin, and in a flash, he had Kicho at knifepoint, as a useful hostage. Kicho almost gave up hope, before noticing a shadow in the distance. Pleading with her eyes, her prayers were met as Kareha saved her life, and managed with a miracle to land a fatal blow on the marauder.

Since that day, Kicho has felt a great debt to Kareha, and tries constantly trying to repay her back. She also trusts Keiko's decisions much more. Occasionally she feels stupid from her brash decisions.

Additional Appearance Details: Standing at 5'6 and weighing average for her age, Keikoku was an early bloomer, possessing a filled out figure and fairly mature face despite her youth. She always wears a scarf around her neck regardless of the temperature or occasion.

Personality: A young woman of fiery passion and calculated intelligence, Keikoku looks at the world through a harsh lens instilled by her growing up during wartime, or at least in the aftermath of such. She sees most people either as a means to her ends or as monsters wearing masks of kindness. As such she trusts few and enjoys the company of even fewer. However, she is an actress and a marvelous one at that, allowing her to appear pleased or even positively enamored with someone, or the opposite of such, to fool her way into the good graces of those around her. However, this is not her only skill as Keikoku is an incredibly intuitive woman, tending to prefer going with her gut rather than following the spirit of the rules. With this intuition she not only makes decisions, but analyzes people, allowing her to easily pick up on the various nuances that make every individual, well, unique.

Still, while Keikoku may seem like the perfect girl on the outside and a manipulative bitch on the level just below she is in fact quite vulnerable at her core. Her acting is just that, acting, and her analytical and often socially destructive nature is a defense mechanism to keep people from getting to close. This is apparent almost solely when she is away from prying eyes, but with her team, or outright alone where her suppressed kindness and fierce loyalty make themselves known. In truth she is a team player with a strong sense of justice and an even more indomitable will.

History: Her family new to the village, Keikoku was born to a place unfamiliar to her parents, though they were welcomed there nonetheless. She grew up amongst adults who spoke of seals and jutsu while she played with her toys. She was encouraged to follow in her parent's footsteps and when it came down to it she was happy to do so. After all from a very young age her eyes would always light up when her parents spoke of their craft. It was so intricate and pretty back then, though as she grew old enough to understand they became more than just pretty symbols and instead became intricate and beautiful, though in a totally different way. They were complex and figuring them out was a puzzle that she felt driven to complete.

So it was that she joined the academy and eventually, in a relatively normal amount of time, graduated. Nonetheless she excelled, looked up to by her peers or disliked because of her talents. There was bullying because of their jealousy, but eventually she adapted, finding that it was far easier to play their little mind games better than they could then to relent and endure their jeers and petty pranks. When she graduated she didn't really expect that much would change, but as the days went on and she trained with her team she grew close to the two...protective even though perhaps not as much as she should have been.

This lack of protectiveness and a stern voice was what, in her mind, landed her and Kicho in a dangerous situation when they went on their first mission despite their sensei asking them to do otherwise. Not only did they leave Kareha behind to do it, but they overestimated their skills, with Kicho deciding to rashly rush in. Captured and at the mercy of the more experienced shinobi, Kicho's eyes had pleaded for her help, but she could do nothing in fear that the man would hurt her friend.

If it weren't for Kareha perhaps the two of them would be dead...or worse, captured by the enemy. Luckily that wasn't how things had played out. Nonetheless, ever since that day Keikoku has never once let her own doubt get in the way of protecting her teammates be it from others or themselves. She has come to respect Kareha's cautious and quiet nature and to value Kicho's decisiveness and lack of hesitation despite their individual faults.

She does her best to excel where they do not in hopes that should the day come that they are in a dangerous situation as before that they will be ready—if not individually, then together.

Combat Summary: Keikoku is a tempest of movement, utilizing her scarf, Arras as both a defensive and offensive implement to unleash potentially devastating fuinjutsu or disarm an unprepared opponent. While appearing fiery and erratic at first, one soon finds that Keikoku is a skilled tactician, and so one should never assume that she's thought any less than three steps ahead.

Suzu if anything else is that she stands by her convictions. This is something that she picked up from her own father's often gregarious and flamboyant actions when discussing his own matter of opinions. A man that never stood down when he knew he was right and always took the moral road forward even if it was wrought with misery. He made sure to instill these ideals into his daughter, his only small light to fling into a future ever growing darker.

It is because of this that Suzu often comes off as abrasive as she really doesn't shut up when she probably should. This generally leads to arguments among her peers and among those who probably no better than her. But fight on she does refusing to step down once an issue is made. To this degree she is unflinching in her words to the point where she does not care how cruel or consider she sounds her points will be made and her opinions on those around her will be well known by everyone and anyone that cares to listen. Consequently words like obnoxious and disliked float around her like a thick fog and label her as one to be avoided. Friends do not come easily to her as most already have her written off as a self-centered brat that doesn't know when to step down gracefully. Though you can't blame them as it sounds as good as any testament to Suzu's character and it's one to that she holds onto with pride.

Despite the fact that all her woes could be solved if she just stepped down for once she never does. It's a fault of hers as the world to her is displayed in two extremes of right and wrong. More often than not she sees herself in the right section of things. She continues her bitter remarks and arguments in her own way of moving towards the greater good. Some care just about saving people and doing good, but Suzu cares about making things right and in doing the right thing in the moment damn the consequences and damn what others think. Her ideals are simple things or things that she thinks should be simple ideas to comprehend, she wants all to have justice and all to have the freedom to choose their own paths in life and hates those with a passion that try to take people's own
freedoms away. She is a closed palm unwilling to open and clasp heavily in these values.

But despite her harsh attitude and almost permanent state of fervent passion at the perceived unwillingness of others their still lays something of a girl beneath it all. The blowhard display being more or less a sort of mask that she uses to hide her own frustrations and failures by venting her anger outwards at everyone and everyone within arguing range. The pressures of walking in the footsteps of her own father and living up to the legacy that he has built feels like the weight of the world upon her shoulders but you'll never hear her say that.

History:
From the beginning it had always been Suzu and her father. Her mother having died due to complications during childbirth. Suzu's father, Hiro was a well respected Medical-nin within Konohagakure who had gained the moniker of the Healing Wave of Konohagakure. Though eventually even great tsunamis will receded back into the ocean and the combined loss of his wife's death and his own inability to save her from death as he did many others caused him to step down from his position in charge of Konohagakure's hospital and receded to an isolated life with his daughter in their small house on the edge of the village. From that point forward when Hiro was not drinking himself to sleep to keep the nightmares at by he was entirely focused on the one thing he had in life remaining his young daughter.

As Suzu grew in age the two began she began to teach her own father as much as he taught her. Hiro was a harsh teacher even when Suzu was at a very young age training her relentless for hours upon hours from sparring to proper hand signs and most importantly medical knowledge. He still had many of his old texts from his time at the hospitals on medical theory and human anatomy and he would not be satisfied until Suzu could recite them from memory front to back without stumbling, a mispronunciation or wrong fact meant more training and no dinner that night. All in an effort to train her to become an even greater medical-nin then he ever was, he had one goal in mind that this time nobody had to die. Suzu also began to teach and take care of her father in many ways. As he was often many days too drunk to do much of anything and spent most of their money on drinks and other vices she began to predominant caretaker of the household. It was in this facet of her life that she began to develop the independence and stubborn attitude that would define her in her own later in her life. In haggling and in keeping things in order she had to be stout in her convictions and outspokenly loud to get her own drunken father out of the bed in the morning or when buying things.

The village saw something that Suzu would never really understand but it seemed that Hiro training was doing maybe what it exactly intended. As the young girl grew and especially as she entered the academy to begin training as ninja she slowly became the mirror image of her own father in his youth. In the academy she did well enough not the best in the class but not the worst either probably helped by her father's own additional training. While she became acquainted with the individuals around her she would not make many friends partly due to her own personality and partly due to the fact that she had to take care of things at home. As she had entered the academy, Hiro's drinking had gotten worse and worse as time progressed drinking more and more to the point that on some days, Suzu could not even rise him from his alcohol induced slumber.

Then came the day of Suzu graduation from the Village. It would be a day that she remembered for the rest of her life. She awoke in the early morning the smell cooking food and quickly went downstairs to find that her father was for the first time in her life awake before she was. He had cooked breakfast and even seemed to have showered and taken the effort to find clean clothes to wear. They held small talk during breakfast mostly about her upcoming graduation and her plans for what would come next. After that with some time to spare, Suzu and Hiro did something they had never done before the two of them visited Suzu's mother's grave. Suzu had gone by herself time and again but never with her father who seemed to avoid the place with a passion. The constant reminder of his failures. Here they talked again in the early morning though it was mostly Hiro talking and Suzu listening on. First he spoke of her mother, the blazing fury to Hiro's more gentle healing techniques. He told her that she would of been proud of Suzu and that she always wanted a daughter. After that they talk about the future, how no matter what happened that Suzu would have to keep fighting, she would have to survive and endure and would have to do what even he couldn't. He apologized for placing his own hopes and dreams upon her shoulders and that no young child even deserved such things. And finally he told her that he loved her, the first time he had said those words in many many years. It was the best moment Suzu had in her short life as it was the one time she saw the man that her father had locked away long ago with alcohol. The one that the others in the village spoke in such reverence and such despair of how far he had fallen.

This would be the last time that Suzu would talk to her father though. When she arrived home from the graduation ceremony that day she... found him. He was in the central room of the house having hanged himself from the rafters of the old house. On the floor at his feet a simple note that had one word on it. Goodbye. It rained when they buried him and not many people were around to watch the ceremony, a few close friends but that was about it. And where others would have collapsed or given up, this was the turning point in Suzu's life, with a hardened resolve and newfound convictions she promised to uphold those dreams and hopes that he had thrust upon her. She would do what he couldn't do. She would prevent anything like this from happening ever again. Nobody would die this time.

Combat Summary: As a would-be medical-nin, Suzu sticks to the back supporting and healing her teammates while harassing the enemy.

Personality: Risu has what one might call a superiority complex. Firmly believing in her own abilities as a kunoichi, despite her inability to use Ninjutsu, or Genjutsu. This in turn has Risu coming off as arrogant, rude, inconsiderate, and just down right insulting to anyone above the ages of ten. While all of these things can be used to describe her usually, she does have a sweet spot for kids. The only other exception to this is her friends, and those she admires, looks up to, or just respects in general. As for rivals or enemies, there is no such thing as respect unless it is highly earned. These apply to both her personal life, and her work.


History: For years the Ishibashi clan lived in Kirigakure producing very average, and dull ninja who nobody ever seemed to pay attention to. They were the fillers in the squads, the ones who just tended to be useful, but not needed. Risu has been the sole exception to this clan. While most people of this very small clan viewed Risu's shortcomings as disgraceful, Risu herself had one person above all who encouraged her to become the best kunoichi she could be. Even without Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, Risu aspired to do her best with her sister's help.

This led to Risu's sister training her in Taijutsu at first. While showing a talent for it Risu soon showed more interest in something else closely related, weapons. Since then the pair worked on her ability first with the essential ninja tools, but soon after started working with more advanced weaponry. The first being the claw weapons she has. Close to Taijutsu, but using different forms Risu quickly adapted to the style and learned quickly. At this point she became a genin where her sister gave her two gifts; a weighted scarf to improve her speed, and a pair of wakizashi.

While practicing with her wakizashi Risu eventually decided to branch off and choose a new weapon on top of that to personally change herself. She had already become very skilled with all of her current weapons, so she chose a more difficult weapon to master. She got a hold of two chain whips looking to improve her range, and overall ability. She succeeded, while not fully mastered yet, she has become very proficient with all her weapons and enjoys her work very much, as long as there's action.
