Personality: Ellis is caring and friendly, especially towards Pokémon. Ellis is always ready to help out anyone and anything, no matter what. He can be very protective over his Pokémon and friends too. He is determined but also a bit naïve too. He's also known for being a bit... headstrong too. However, whenever he see's a Pokémon or Gijinka injured or in need of help, Ellis is the first one there, knowing exactly how to treat the injury or how to help. It's what he's meant to do, help people and animals.

History: Ellis had a good childhood, where nothing much really happened. Good parents, good school. Pretty normal life really. However, in a world surrounded by Pokémon, it wasn't long before Ellis dreamed of being the Pokémon champion. As soon as he was old enough to leave home, Ellis grabbed his bag and a pokéball, accompanied with the support and goodbyes of his parents, he set off to fulfil his dream.

Ellis came across to a Pokémon centre, seeing the work of the nurses and such. He had changed his decision. He wasn't going to just train Pokémon, he was going to help Pokémon too, and with that goal in mind, he could help Gijinka's in need too, at least, those who couldn't take care of themselves. Ellis grabbed books about the subject wherever he could, finding new information and new methods of treatment rapidly quick. This was indeed what Ellis was meant to do.
