So Dollie came to me with the idea of a ball at the castle that both sides can attend to as a "first step" towards peace. What do you all think? I personally like it.

@Cuccoruler To me, it seems like he's more concerned about Asher being weak rather than not wanting peace. I personally like the idea.

@Sarcelle Renard yeah it's not that the king doesn't want peace rather, he doesn't want Asher to fall in love with or marry someone who will make him weak instead of stronger, as a person and as a future king

Which is also why he lied about killing Octavia. He believed that she was making him weak but at the same time he didn't want to worsen the war. Thus he lied and said it was Asher's fault that she died to harden his heart and remove, what the king thought to be a possible weakness, from him

Typo on Rida's post. At the bottom, it says that Mozu spoke to Steve.

"One of these days that princess is gonna learn the cold facts of this world, specifically I hope she learns that she's more mortal than she thinks." Mozu said talking down to Steve who was happily eating the crumbs.
