Joyful * Naive * Organized * Nitpicky
Sexuality: Lesbian
Relationship Status: Single
Personality: Amy’s as innocent as innocent can be, and you won’t find a purer soul around. She treats everyone with as much love as she has to give, and though she knows better than to expect her kindness to be reciprocated by all, Amy still finds it jarring when people are mean to her. It’s hard for her to comprehend how anyone can react to her bundle of kindness and love with meanness.
She doesn’t really have any driving motivations. Amy just wants to be happy and make other people feel loved; being a receptionist is just one of many means to an end. Sure, she could have taken her neverending wave of happiness to another line of work, but to Amy, offices are where she’s needed most. Besides, most companies absolutely
love her obsessive need to keep things clean and organized. It’s not OCD, not by a longshot, but Amy gets lots of jokes about it.
Habits: o r g a n i z e ...And clicking pens. She had to buy pens that click silently, but even the lack of noise didn’t stop her.
Hobbies: Amy loves to paint. She’s pretty bad at it, but she keeps going regardless. Putting paint on a canvas is just so much fun.

Combat Skills: What Is On Your Person:
- She keeps her phone, wallet, ID and car keys all in her purse.
- Sometimes, there’s some snacks in the purse.
- Okay, there’s always snacks in the purse. It’s a seemingly endless supply.
- A butterfly necklace, shockingly around her neck.
- Clothes. Duh.
Desk:
- Oh, boy, here we go.
- No less than eight framed photos of her paintings at any given time. Amy rotates the photos whimsically, so it’s anybody’s guess how many photos there will be on any given day, or what they’ll be of.
- A framed photo of her parents and sisters.
- Three small sculptures of butterflies, most definitely expensive.
- One medium sculpture of a bluebird. It’s been signed, presumably by the artist, but she won’t tell.
- A Rubik’s cube. Amy has zero idea what it’s supposed to be for, but her cousin got it for her as a gift one Christmas so she keeps it just because.
- The snack supply continues in the desk. If you thought the purse had a lot of snacks, you definitely aren’t ready for the desk.
- Three pens of each primary and secondary color, and five black pens, all kept in two mugs that look like they were painted by a three-year-old. (They weren’t. Amy’s just that bad.)
- The entire Harry Potter series, hardcover. She fully knows she will never read them at work, but Amy likes keeping them around.
- Bluetooth speakers on the off-chance she’s alone in the office. Or if someone else needs them. But mostly for being alone.
- Amy drives a red 2011 Mazda RX-8. It’s used and it’s a little beat up, but she loves it.
What Brings You to Dunder Mifflin: A recent graduate out of college, and a huge fan of the Scranton documentary, Amy figured it only made sense that she take her talents to
South Beach New Castle. Her parents had recently moved to the city, so that was just added incentive for her to find work in in the area. She doesn’t really have any dreams for her career, which is probably for the best.
Life Up To This Point: The youngest of three girls, Amy was always treated as the baby of the family. Her sisters were three and seven years older than her, and they were always close, but as soon as they were old enough, they booked the next flight out of Newark to Anywhere But There. Amy stayed close, going to Essex County Community College for two years before transferring to Columbia across the Hudson.
Somehow, Amy managed to make it through college without her innocence being at all tainted. How she pulled it off remains a mystery to everyone, but she remained pure as ever. Her friends will testify that she never once drank or smoked weed or did any drugs of any kind, she was always on time to every class, and never got lower than a B+ on exams. She was a model citizen, if a little lacking in the “real life experience” department.
She didn’t really know what to do post-college, though not really having a plan going into college probably wasn’t the best idea. For a while Amy bummed it out between retail jobs while figuring out what she could do with her degree. When her parents moved to New Castle and she found out Dunder Mifflin was hiring, it all seemed to click together.
Character Quote: “Hi there, I’m Amy! We’ve never met, but I bet we were friends in another life.”
Theme Song: Folding Chair - Regina Spektor.
Dirty Little Secret: Stole a pencil in the fourth grade when someone left it behind in the classroom. Amy has never stolen anything since out of guilt.
