Ship Description:
Geth frigate. A few hundred meters in length only, the shape resembles an insect like a hornet minus its wings and antennae. Its internal structure still contains hints of organic design, but life support systems are lacking almost entirely. Its offensive weapon is a Mass Accelerator cannon, which electromagnetically slings a metal slug while it is inside a Mass Effect field lightening its mass, therefore propelling it to a significant percentage of lightspeed, which is complemented by high performance ultraviolet antifighter lasers. The main defence are kinetic barriers.
Unique Capabilities:
Geth are a form of networked AIs, whose collective intelligence increases exponentially with the number of geth programs running within a certain platform or server. Therefore they can effortlessly transfer themselves to and from any compatible hardware, generally ships or mobile platforms.
Normal geth platforms carry around 100 geth programs at a time, which suffices for general combat, geth-to-geth communication and simpler cognitive skills. The character geth platform is a prototype version that can carry up to 1200 geth at a time, making it significantly more intelligent and effective, and capable of communicating verbally.
The mobile platform itself is generally bipedal and roughly humanoid, however, being a machine, organic limitations do not apply, making it several times stronger and more durable than most organics, as well as possessing a large number of other functions that organics can only acquire with technological assistance. The platform can also be armed with a variety of mass effect based weaponry and possesses kinetic barriers for protection and other purposes.
To clarify, this geth platform is NOT Legion. Even though the platform is made to the same specs, it is "crewed" by different geth runtimes with a different mission.
History of the Ship:
The ship and platform were built specifically for extended operations outside geth space. As geth usually prefer to isolate themselves, hence not requiring ships to operate independently for any longer than their patrol route, a geth frigate was modified to suit the needs of extended travel, carrying extended tanks for both the fusion plant as well as auxiliary fuel cells, and a larger supply of spare parts, at the price of carrying only a handful of auxiliary mobile platforms for repairs.
The current mission was intended to be peaceful contact with organic life, attempting to understand organic nature and begin peaceful diplomatic contact, which however failed due to unforeseen circumstances, aka being sucked into a wormhole...

Approximate shape. There are no pictures of an actual geth frigate, only dropships, this picture is of a cruiser, but the design is generally similar, it is merely the size that differs.
Some Important People:
Apart from well known Mass Effect characters, there is no character in specific worth mentioning. As for the "crew", they are all geth.
Some additional notes:
I am well aware of the ME3 ending, which in 2 out of 3 cases either destroys or significantly alters the geth (destroy and synthesis ending respectively), meaning only the control ending leaves the geth as they we know them. Having anything other than the control ending thus doesnt make sense. Since Mass Effect is extremely based on choice giving highly varied outcomes it is hard to find one exact canon everyone would agree on, but given that the geth mostly isolate themselves anyway, most of the specifics hopefully wont matter, and where they do, I will simply go by my own choices.
Also, I hope this isnt even worth mentioning, but essentially Im totally exploiting the loophole regarding the player playing both the ship and crew, as the geths structure doesnt permit the same differentiation as any "organic" spaceship.
