@KeyguypersonWhat's your take on meeting with the Federation and get into a dispute over the mining rights like the scenario I told prior?


I like the idea, we'd have to figure out where exactly to put the dispute. I guess we can go with the original idea, I'll just have to make up a star system in Terran space to fit it.

Not necessarily within Terran space. Perhaps that's why Federation miners didn't prepare for anything like first contact.
Say you also found this rich system and wanna exploit it. Except you are aware of other races and have military assets to make sure you get it.

Whelp, I think I'm just about finished my sheet. Just gotta get the History done. And hey, since it's not likely for my history have anything that'd make me get rejected by itself, could you give it a look over @Keyguyperson?

He said the Union was fine, iirc. And then I asked for a second nation, the Fallen, and he said it was fine too. @keyguyperson?

EDIT: Ninja'd. I'll uh, make it 50 miles instead. The entire point of it is to be fucking huge for the sake of shock and awe.

Yeah, maybe I didn't tell you to downsize your ships. A lot of my posts get lost since my schedule has a lot of breaks in it and sometimes I forget I had one written up on my computer and post on my phone. Both nations are fine, but yeah, take the ship sizes down from 11. Huge is all fine and dandy, but I feel like 108 is just reaching levels where people start saying "Well MY ship..." and it turns into us measuring our virtual dicks. I'd personally prefer if you kept things vague and more "Unimaginably huge vessel, so large it has its own internal tram system." instead of "Number/unit of measurement/long", but if you really want numbers you can have them. Just make them way smaller, remember, even ten miles is insanely huge. 50 is probably fine.

Your really don't need that big of a ship to be imposing. The largest super carrier in the world is the Nimitz class, which comes in at 332.8m. Those ships have a lot of personnel and a lot of fighters on deck. If you really want massive imposing ships I say 5km at most, maybe 10, buts thats pushing it.

I'd personally go with 10 miles for ABSOLUTE INSANITY, which is what I assume this ship is going for. It's not like there are a hundred of these things zipping around.

On a world scale, sure, 332m is pretty big. But the UU are on an extragalactic scale, where the Valkyrie class could be considered a fairly average ship for carrying unmanned drone fighters and smaller ships.
