I wasn't aware of that, huh. I was more surprised because the role play had already started and the participants were pretty much set in stone. You had mentioned that she wouldn't have been interested in the role play, so before I saw her post the idea that she had changed her mind or something was a possibility to me.

Then I read her post, and realized she was posting on your behalf, which explained your sudden end of active presence during that period of time.

Yeah, she's a really big Final Fantasy fan, and she'd be able to write a character like Terra incredibly well, but 'Arena' role-play isn't her cup of tea. I usually collaborate any battle scenes her characters are part of when we do our own writing together. Anyway, she usually follows whatever role-plays I'm part of, since she enjoys reading my writing.

More than anything, she said she doesn't have the time right now. I can understand how seeing her appear could've made you think she wanted in though.

Edit: With that said, the suggestion was her idea and I'm not taking credit for it.

Looking good to me -- no immediate complaints. I was watching to see if any moments came up where conversation continued on when Mateus might've interrupted someone, but I'm thinking he's too busy observing and analysing all the pieces on the board right now. The posts all look good to me. The back and forth with Kefka and Zidane is entertaining and you've captured their attitudes well. I've also noticed what looks like an opening for Mateus to woo Marche to the darkness.

I'll work out my response after I've dealt with my own role-play's interest check.

I'm probably gonna have Firion encounter you both at this point, while Terra's a bit less certain.

She's heading towards Layle. She's not quite there yet.

I would have had her encounter Terra along the way, but I imagine the impact of the tree woke her up if she's nearby; So I didn't want Ritz encountering a still asleep Terra, or for me to make assumptions within my post.

I always appreciate attention to details, since I'm comprehensive myself and consider the quality of writing to be found that. I'm glad your post factored all of this into account.

I've been planning to let Terra get introduced to you before we meet up with Layle now, since - yes - she's gonna wake up due to that noise.

Edit: Ugh, fuck it -- I'm getting hit too hard by fatigue. It'll be up first thing when I wake up guys. See ya later.

Good to know my knowledge of FFV isn't too bad, because it's one of the ones I haven't had a chance to go through properly. Most of my information is from getting spoilers years ago, but it's been a long time since I read anything apart from what I looked up recently to do my Exdeath CS.

First Edit: Still working, despite all that's gotten in the way. I won't be giving up -- you'll get a post out of me before the night ends. I've now set this as my sole priority, so nothing's getting in the way and in the short time since that's been done I've already finished Firion's part.

Second Edit: All that's left is the villains. Hopefully my condition isn't weakening my post quality.

Cheers. Good to know you're enjoying how everyone's getting portrayed.

I'm not surprised that Mateus is getting the best performance in your eyes. I've actually being basing elements of his portrayal off of a few of my 'Guardian Ascension' characters -- one of them in particular. I won't give you his name, because the bastard side of him isn't revealed right off the bat and you might find it a nice spoiler to discover one day, but once it's revealed he's evil he has a representation very similar to this.

Basically, the character is very charismatic and viewed as a great hero and saint by an entire continent, but he's actually an opportunistic bastard who's manipulating everyone. The whole thing I'm doing with Mateus where you get to see the duality of his personality by seeing the mask and then getting to read the thoughts inside the mask is exactly how I write that villain, and a lot of people enjoy my work with him.
