Well my two cents will be as follows.

- My posts will be limited to story line reasons thus when I get time and I find it relevant/my personal posting cool down is done, I will.

-If I feel that something requires more then 2-3 (In some cases it might need everyone) then I will wait for what is to me, a reasonable amount of time to pass.

-Potato.

I'm inclined to agree that a non-dictatorial method of decision-making is called for, but I think we should gather more information on the constituents before using a democratic method. Those who benefit from a rigid posting order would support it, while those who benefit from no posting order would be against it, resulting in tyranny of the majority.

First, a tally. Everyone please tell me...
* What posting order would best accomodate your posting rate?
* What posting order(s) can you work with?
* What posting order(s), if any, would be seriously detrimental to you?
* What are your posting rates?

honestly I enjoy rapid posting, It allows for far more character interactivity. However those who are slower just simply cannot give up.

As a result whenever I made an rp I would keep it moving and those who couldn't keep up were simply left behind with no questions asked. I know it's not the nicest method but it's efficient and kind of a survival of the fittest thing.

None of my expression could be made without making it a 'thing' with others in the thread. It would be unfair to be openly genuine of my opinion.

That being said, I think that 'Casual' roleplay instills a sense of responsibility for participants to manage at least a paragraph. Staggering through 1-3 sentences once or twice a week is...not my business. Again, I'm sorry for my absence while incapacitated.

Rapid posting is explainable if it adds to recent events, and I only say this with the occurrence of my own posting. I have never seen it happen like that, but I was a bit fearful that the post I made would be lost if I simply edited it into my initial post. Lord Zee is a real champ and my heart goes out to them for giving Kaite a chance, which I will endeavor to requite.
Rapid posting...hrm...if a person is fighting to be acknowledged and have their characters and posts being impactful to the story and world they exist in, why shouldn't they keep trying until getting a response?

That is probably bias. I'm probably not the best person to ask about such issues. I want to be equal-opportunity regarding my posts, though I wholly understand if (collective) you can't fit everyone's doings into a single post.

(Now I just posted that since the current actions where directed directly at our figure, as far as the consensuses.

=Well I would like every one who is currently involved with the action posts to go first, with a reasonable order, meaning it can be answered to and responded to in a manner where the person in question is able to have some form of reaction.

-Well I look at it as a directly or indirectly related. Anything that is Directly related to a post I make gets priority over indirect. So ya...

-As needed/seen fit. Considering I have been given a role that is interlocked, its more important for quality over quantity for me.)

While waiting for the others, I have an unrelated idea to propose: That the player whose subplot is active be allowed 1 God-Mode/Power-Play that does not result in a character's death or dismemberment. In addition, they receive limited worldbuilding authority for the duration of the subplot.

Here are my points:

1: You should NEVER sacrifice quality for quantity. If I am spending the time and energy to help immerse you into the world, I expect the same in return. I'm not looking for a 10 paragraph essay like some of the other RPs I am in, but I expect some effort.

2: Rapid posting, short of everyone having a day off and is able to post consecutively, should be left to the Free Roleplay, where number 1 doesn't apply. Perhaps a confession bear is in order, but when I see someone posting 2-4 sentences, I feel that they are bored or don't feel that the RP deserves their attention.

3: Any posting order is fine, but be mindful of who we are missing. Have any of you noticed the Ineffible hasn't posted in 3 days? Or that Fyre Holy has been absent for 5? Ineffible starting this RP out posting rather well, but her last post was all of 3 sentences. I feel that this mentality can only lead to ruin.

4: An RP of this size, having ~9 Player Characters plus a GM to tie things in together, needs some structure. I'm not suggesting some Gestapo type shit. Of course not, but certainly a modicum of respect to our fellow RPers.

5: It is 100% absolutely do-able to acknowledge, or at the very least, reference another player's post. There would be no issue of me adding the lines: As Kaite's sword eviscerated one of the wargs, it's lifeless corpse sliding across the ground near Xen's feet, a spatter of gore crept up the hem of his robes. This line acknowledges Kaite's actions and lends validity to her actions.

6: If the consensus of the of the group is to go rapid-fire and say fuck-all to people left behind like Cucc says they have done in the past, then I will humbly and respectfully withdraw myself from the RP with no harm done. :)

Vert attacked the ZweiGuy, and in her post said she was going for a straight punch to the melon.

Ivan ran after Vert to hopefully intercept.

ZweiGuy meets the challenger (assuming Vert) and conjures a sword, doesn't say anything about the impending strike to it's face?

Kaite casually strolls up to the ZweiGuy as if nothing is happening with Vert and Ivan?

That is what I'm picking up from the last few posts lol. Am I lost in the sauce or...

If its that big of an issue, I can come back in a while.

A blaze could be seen in Vert's eyes. She had come to realize recently that she was in control now. No one else was in control of her. Atleast as long as the warlock wasn't near by.

With what vert sences are feeling, it's basically the WYK effect, bioshock fyi. After that the weapon is drawn in a manner to directly refected the knight coming at the guy.

I am at work on a phone making spot edits as I go, also avoiding trigger words.

The goal here is to cause a back down if you will. The beast charging was not expected, so I took a risk based on information in the post. The WYK effect is basically mental conditioning to force behaviors, which if not undone are acted out with out thought. In other words you do said action without thinking about it. Also a display of power.

The weapon being drawn was at the charging with Vert, a simple display of strength to make it back down or at the very least rethink just charging in.

I'd you need anything explained just ask, glad to do so.

I see. What confused me is that Cucc had already committed to the attack and I suppose your post was vague enough for me to miss your acknowledgment of it. That's between your characters, as I'm not privy to the dynamic you two would share.

It wasn't the best idea to let those dogs try to chew on the resting adventurers either. Now several of those dogs are dead. That's a poor example of dog ownership if I've ever seen 1.
