@Dark Light nope no sun to create seasons xD it's a relatively random occurance that happens once in a while. According to some scholars it's crachs in the planet that open, allowing frost from the surface to temporary get deeper until the cracks freeze over completely sealing themselves again. Others think it's just the displeased nature of the sun god. Thirds think it's evil wizards and monsters and witches and other easy to blame targets and they need to do more witchhunts to stop it from happening ~

Here's my new lore:

XD

The equivalent of days are called blessings.
Stone blessings for the heathens and God blessings for the faithful.
We as players recognise the sun stone mimicks a day with its light but for them the Sun stones light is a periodical blessing that comes and goes.

"The cities stone has blessed us three times since I saw her last."

"I will spend the next 10 blessings of the lords light by your side, but after that I must return to my home."

What those devil worshiping kreetons at the academy choose to call it is beyond me, but traditionally religion roots itself into behaviour before science.

Oh no it's not the dark, it's the endless day. No cycle, no new beginnings, no synchronicity with the world, no universal method of time keeping or arrangement making.

You eat when you are hungry, sleep when you are tired, bath when you are dirty, otherwise work everything else. And everyone does it to their own accord. You wake up as others go to sleep.
You might have counted 10 sleeps to another's 8.
There is no reason to differentiate your meals.
No countdown to the end of the day. It's endless...
Just a continuous struggle, stuck frozen in the eternal darkness of time till you die.

Lack of a sun stone signals the death of tomorrow.


Well north back here in Norway, we have that issue, though surprisingly nobody has gone mad from it as far as I know. I think having a clock and society that requires times regardless of day and night helps.

Alright, Its finally cooled down. It was about 41 degrees here today so I haven't wanted to do much, but now its cooled down I'm going to work on a post :D

I hate you so much right noe, I have only ever seen snow once and it was amazing >:I But yea, I live in Australia. So while the rest of the world has a cool snowy Christmas and new-years, we just avoid the heatstroke :P

@rivaan Oh yea, they aren't so scary. Don't much care for spiders, but snakes are pretty great :3 But I would much prefer to live in a place with snow, I can't stand the heat :P
