Should I wait for approval before posting into the In character section or can I post and then hope for approval?

@Dead Cruiser Ok thanks for getting back to me, yeah I regretted that post as soon as I sent it, I wasn't going to post anything without your approval but just wanted to ask because I'm new to the apply and approval style of doing things. I'll get the hang of it, and I'll change the CS to a different system that is not Earth.

@Rougespartan181 You essentially cut off Valk's hand. Valk and I have been trying to come up with a way that your character can be paralyzed or otherwise incapacitated without killing him so that valk can cut off Ildaz hand and smack him to death with it. it's a slight variation on what he did to the guy who cut off his actual hand. That guy was dead before he hit the floor. The hand slapping was more for closure.

At the very least think twice before you let Ildaz go to sleep.

Amazing, I literally didn't even know that it was your hand, unfortunately the action stays as it's in-character for Ildaz. He wouldn't think twice about it, anyone showing blatant disregard for the integrity of the Nova Dawn is going to receive a severe reprimand at the very least and likely some sort of injury based on how severe the damage is. The Nova Dawn is our home, it provides us with shelter, allows us to make a living, and it can take us anywhere. It is an ancient relic possessing ancient knowledge, its value is greater to Ildaz than any individual, including himself.

@Rougespartan181 Actually rereading he was hanging from his prehensile tail... I think I'll scrub that just so Valk doesn't need another prosthetic. But otherwise, I am curious why he's such a zealot (Wink wink nudge nudge) I mean it's a boat, a space boat, but a boat. Valk is very much a nomad (his people always are) he has zero attachment to the ship because it's just an object that happens to be around. Any other ship could replace it. Any other crew could fill it. I suppose that's a sad tragic part of being a Sapkir you have a short life just filled with bloodlust then you die alone in most cases at least.

By all means stay in character, but be ready for what other people do in character, cause Valk is not someone you mess with. I've noticed a distinct power gap in where I wrote Valk and many of the others, but if nothing else you are dealing with a psychopath here. Trying to read his mind would give you ninety-two different thoughts every second none of which are what he's actually planning to do to you. I was talking very seriously when Valk said: "thinking is time wasted not killing things".

You had said something about a grappling hook, I just assumed it had a cord that you were holding on to or something, which is what I thought I was cutting. It's just the way he is, he's been on the ship for 20 years and he plans to stay much longer.
His goals and motivations are his own, he hasn't revealed them to anyone, nor does it seem like he plans to.

In all seriousness though, I was not intending to cut off​ your tail, just damage your grappling hook thing, I generally try not to cripple other players on my very first post.

Hey @Dark Wind I assume your character isn't crazy and your arm actually talks. How does it see and hear things? Does it ever sleep and does it move itself?

@Rougespartan181 It's the spirit conscience of a beast from Zharysk operating as something similar to an A.I. inside of Kell's arm. She's conscious, so she does sleep. She can indeed move the arm, but Kell has mechanisms in place to prevent that from happening. Doesn't always stop her from giving Kell a pleasant slap to the face occasionally, however. She sees/hears/etc. things via Kell's eyes/ears/etc. and the gemstone on the arm. Momo can be transferred to another device if the gemstone she's harbored inside of is moved to an alternate home.

As you can imagine. He removes the arm when it comes to bow chicka bow wow times.

Someone should steal your arm, that would be amazing.
