So here's an interest check about making a jump in roleplay based on a kind of mazelike challenge (much like Harry Potter)
My idea is to have multiple teams or single individuals try to finish the maze. In the maze there would be monsters or other fantastical and dangerous elements.
What do you guys think?

would there be a physical maze that you can look at as GM or would you just be making it up as you go?

I'd be game. I think it would make really cool interactions with characters in the maze. Do you already have a character in mind? What length post are you thinking?

It's all good with me, but knowing that'll help me make a character that fits well on my own >D

Honestly not yet, I'm just looking at how many people are interested. Well I would say that it could be jump in. New players could enter the maze as it went on (as there aren't a lot of jump in roleplays)

I think you should actually draw the maze. also my computer and internet arent 100% right now so i may not be completely here

also if you need a villain, im pretty good at that, if i do say so myself

@ineffable I'm an artist, I could draw a quick maze up. Maybe you could PM me what sort of stuff you want to see in it? Or there's definitely mazes online. It would be cool if there were several like... checkpoint areas or something in there, or like significant landmarks for characters to interact with.

@ineffable I can definitely think something up. I'll pm you what I come up with for the map. I know I have time now to coGM, but depending on whether I land another mural gig I probs won't shortly. Gonna start on the map tonight tho ;)

I like this concept.
It would require A LOT of work from the GM's.
Recording everyone's location, answering the left/right turns.
Dealing with the monsters/traps and changing scenery.

I feel the map should be known only by the GM's.
It would need a good legend and clever challenges.

That's the type of game I'm imagining and would like to play anyway ;)

@ineffable I'd love to help but then I would know the answers to the riddles. And I would rather try out solving them. Though (in all honesty) I am super bad at solving riddles. ^^ That's why I am always hoping for a partner in such things haha ;) I'll try it nevertheless though.

There probably will not be many riddles because I think the co GMs and I will be participating, if only for a bit to help everyone out.
