*Elmyra waves softly at Iris and she smiles curtly she then nods in acknowledgement to Horus but politely declines*

Elmyra: I am alright, thank you. My name is Elmyra.

*She smiles calmly and and then looks at Jillian*

Elmyra: No worries, I do not feel obligated. It is a productive way for me to pass my time. Will be convenient for all the members here. Do you happen to be familiar with the two men at the door?

*Elmyra gestures in their general direction*

*She doesn't seem to mind the rain plinking off her metal armor as she looks at the room. Studying it as best she can*

*Jillian nods in understanding.*
Jillian: Well, I appreciate your kindness Elmyra.
*She looks towards the door, and her smile disintegrates as she is just able to pick out the Men in yellow coats speaking to Merg.*
*With a eerie calm, she steps out of their line of sight, and pulls Elmyra with her.*
Jillian: Elmyra.. I cry pardon for touching you like that, but stay down, and stay here.. those men are evil.
*She looks over at Horus, unhappy that Elmyra has to take shelter near him.*
Jillian: Taheen... gather the others, and take shelter in here... I will deal with them.

*Floyd nods.*
Floyd: The girl in question was part of... a monarchy... they ruled over our lands for years, until we resisted, and destroyed their capital. Now we are the ones to hunt down the last of them, and bring them to justice.
*Other two Yellow men nod their heads.*
Floyd: We know she has slain many of my brethren, and has been on the run ever sense the battle.

Elmyra: Unfortunately, it is against my moral code to allow you to go on your own. I am familiar with defensive magic. I will be accompanying you.

*Elmyra waits for no further objection and she walks toward Merg and the men casually. She just stares at them and stands there eerily*

*She looks at mixture of worried, and angry.*
Jillian: They are armed with firearms, do you know what those are?

*Floyd grins, and starts walking towards the room. He is flanked by his Low men in yellow cloaks.*
Floyd: Good you will be rewarded for your service...
*He leaves out the part, that he technically works for a monarchy.*
*The low men brandish their weapons, and seem unphased by the rain or Elmyra's hard stare.*

*She twirls her magnum expertly, and keeps walking towards the door with Elmyra.*

*Mergoux draws her crossbow and waits for Floyd's signal to attack*
Mergoux: Let's just get this over with and discuss rewards later.
*She goes to load her crossbow then freezes when she sees Elmyra. She thinks to herself "A Meadow Elf? What is she doing here?!"*
*She seems divided but does decide to load her heavy crossbow*

*Iris looks worried when she's dragged into the kitchen*
Iris: What? What's going on?!
*Horus frowns and looks concerned*
Horus: I'm not sure... Iris stay here. I'm going to go look
*He leaves the kitchen and goes to peer out a window*

*The two low men do get paralyzed, but Floyd seems more resistant to Elmyra's magic.*
Floyd: We've come for the girl, do not try to stop us..
*He tilts his head, and grins to Jillian.*
Floyd: Hail! Gunslinger...

*Jillian looks pissed, and in a flash dispatches the two low men beside Floyd with her Mangum.*
*She shoots Merg in the arm not really knowing if she is evil or not.*
*When she shoots Floyd, a crack of ozone sounds out, and a energy shield around Floyd crackles.*
*Floyd is vastly slower then Jillian, but manages to get a shot off at Jillian's lower abdomen.*
*She howls with pain, as a red beam clearly shoots through her.*

*Elmyra sees the shots fired and she taks quick action. She swifly scoops up Jillian and with speed she brings her to the kitchen*

Elmyra: They are after you?

*She doesn't wait for an answer and she goes back outside*

Elmyra: Stop this violence. If you are so desperate to fight, take it outside in the garden. Not in this home.

*Elmyra stands with some form of motherly authority. She begins to shoo them out and lead them to the door without a sign of fear at all.*

Jillian: Yes they do.. they are evil..
*Jillian grits her teeth, and hold her side as blood starts to pool around her.*
Jillian: They.. won't just leave.. don't be foolish
*She watches Elymra walk off, and tries to follow but is in too much pain.*

*Floyd does not get shooed away, instead he pushes past Elymra, heading to where Jillian is.*
Floyd: Sorry princess, I have a job to do, but I'll be sure to leave after it's done.
*He pulls back the slide on his rifle, as he approaches Jillian.*

Floyd: Stay out of this elf... this isn't any of your fucking business... Understand?
*His eyes burn with hate as he stares at the limp form of Jillian.*

*Jillian keeps holding her side, and has her magnum out in the other hand.*
*Grits her teeth as she tries to get a line of sight on Floyd, but from her position can only see a fraction of him.*

*Iris and Horus stare for a moment as a wounded Jillian is brought into the kitchen before going into action*
*Horus wads some paper towels and tries to stem the bleeding*
Horus: I'm here for 20 minutes and things to go hell... What happened to you?!
*He notices Floyd and looks at Iris and Hanna*
Horus: You two! Out! Now!
*Iris lifts Hanna up and scampers off as Horus improvises.*
*He lays Jillian down on the floor and flips the table to maybe provide cover from the rifle*
*He rummages quickly through the cutlery draws and comes up with a large butcher's cleaver and knife which look tiny is his giant hands*
*He then crouches behind the table, waiting for a chance to strike*
Horus: What have you gotten yourself into?!

*Mergoux howls in pain as she's shot. She drops her crossbow and spends a few minutes binding the wound before unsheathing a longsword from her right hip and running towards the room.*
