I feel like my character is going to have a tough time winning people over.

He has a long list of likes/dislikes, but most of his dislikes aren't actually complete dealbreakers on their own. His real issue is his lack of social skills, and his reluctance to initiate conversations with random strangers. And he has this flashy outfit that might attract the wrong sort of admirers.

Currently awaiting permission to upload the character sheet.

I suppose it depends on how the Destined are chosen.

Is it love at first sight, or do they actually have to spend time in each other's company and start a relationship the normal way?

@Not Fishing They actually need to start a relationship, otherwise it'd be too easy. But they'll be drawn to each other. It's not like they're destined or guaranteed to meet. But you can fall in love with someone who's NOT your destined, too.

Most certainly, my dude.

I think my favorite thing about it so far, just in terms of the character backstories, is how much of a mature take on the concept this is already shaping up to be - like, I really like that people are looking at the practical problems inherent in being Marked, and that a lot of the characters seem setup to analyze the realities of this sort of system. It's neat.

Room for one more? Anything you need character wise? So far my idea is for an Air elemental, female, ranger, but any of that can easily be changed to suit the needs of the RP.

Okay, @NobodiesHero is the last person we're accepting. Everyone who has already promised to PM a character are fine, though. All those who have sent us a PM are going to be reviewed as soon as possible, but that's it. GM's will come up with the last Marked to even it all out.

We are going to ask some people to switch elements. It's not gonna be demanded, but it'd be greately appreciated. We'd like some variety in that sense.

Also, we're designing a map! If you'd like a location that's part if your story to be in it, please give me details of it's location and a name, if possible.

@deyingerA map would be helpful. I didn't want to make up a location in my character's history (or if that was even allowed). I may submit his back story again with edits detailing an exact location (now that I know we can make one up). I'll just send it to the same application PM.

Ok! Sent in my CS. Now I'm waiting for approval. If approved I did mention a mining town called Culldune. Stick it on the map if you'd like. It's near a river, and forest, but other then that it's up to you.

@deyingerI finished making all the changes/additions to Boen's CS. I gave him some more flavor. There are many places you can read in his background that he's been to that can be added on the map because I do plan on them probably seeing or hearing about those places again. Or maybe they might go there during the travels. Who knows.
