No, they were crawling up that place in the past. Recall that the Daybreakers only gathered and set out thirty minutes after the distress signal was set, and after that, still had a bunch of travel time.

Right now, your characters are just following tracks (and killing sources of information kek).

To be fair with the outside commentary provided I wasn't sure how clear it was supposed to be that he could still be saved. Critically wounded people tend to be bad information sources anyway.

Lenier's leg is missing now, and you can extrapolate whatever damage being sent through two walls and slamming into the third would do to a human body. Good thing that you're all immortal and have pretty decent regen, eh?

Right now, the room is more or less filling up with bony spikes, originating from the scavenger. It's strong enough to pierce concrete, and if it doesn't stop soon, the floor will probably collapse from all the collateral damage this explosive growth is causing.

Also, you three have a house that's flying towards you (and will probably hit in my next post), but yah probably won't be aware of it yet.

For the duo in the back, it'll take two-three post rounds in order to get over there, if you intend on just mad dashing.
