Ok, I wasn't planning on making a pathfinder just simply a squadmate for one of the others. I hadn't really decided what race yet.

I've had my eye on this for some time. I'm really tempted to claim the quarian pathfinder.

That is the only Pathfinder to not have any development at all. I am not even sure they have a Pathfinder, since they were supposed to be the second wave of colonists and they were planning on everything going smoothly the first time. But let's assume they do, more fun that way.

You won't have access to a Pathfinder vessel until after the rescue operation is over.

For anyone who just wants to play a Squad Mate everything in the Squad Mate CS is mandatory. I have updated the CS to reflect that.

@Burning Kitty Other options for me would be a simple squad mate... Or the Salarian pathfinder... I was so distraught over Raeka T_T

I'll mull it over in my head on the way home and let you know

Do have one guy/gal claim the salarian Pathfinder.

No one has shown any interest in the asari Pathfinder.

Why were you distraught over Raeka? She survived when I played. Pissed of Drack though. I saved her because she was literally the only Pathfinder who was supposed to be the Pathfinder. The Initiative needed a Pathfinder who knew what the heck he/she was doing.

@Burning Kitty I didn't want to piss off Drack... and deal with the exalted krogan >.< Plus I figured Raeka would have wanted others to get saved instead of just her T_T I honest to god teared up when I had to make that choice @_@

Since I was extremely annoyed with Peebee I'm steering clear of the Asari I've always liked Tali and was verry pissed I couldn't romance her with FemShep, hence my temptation to claim the quarian pathfinder

Didn't notice until now. Your character won't have a Pathfinder vessel. So you'll have to come up with your own.

Just need to know a few things.
What is the life expectancy of the Jardaan?
The name of the ship?
Size of the ship?
Armament? Pathfinder vessels don't have any.
Appearance of the ship?

Exalted krogan weren't that hard to deal with imo. Drack is a teddy bear.

@Burning Kitty Maybe on my next play-through I'll save Raeka instead

I decided to go with the quarian pathfinder after all. So I'm gonna work on her and a couple of squad mates this evening.

I have a question though. Do we plan on keeping them suited up. Or might I be so bold as to offer them having taken measures to fix their immune systems' weakness during cryo sleep, like the Krogans did with the genophage? Because I kinda found this concept art on Pinterest of what quarians might look like and I liked it a lot. They could still need the suits with new environments until they acclimatize to them. I'll totally understand if it would be preferable to keep them as they are though.

The Resurgent, I'd say smaller than the Tempest, unarmed (though with very strong shields), lacks a Nomad or anything of the likes but is much more agile than the Tempest, that and its smaller size allowing it to land with much more ease. Basically just enough space for The Conservator and the Neophyte as the Composer is just machine.

Alternatively, when they are awaken they don't have a ship of their own and need to borrow from the Initiative until they manage to go to another location containing a vessel.

Life expectancy I feel wouldn't matter too much in the course of the RP, but I'd suggest a normal lifespan of 250 but their mastery of technology being able to extend that in theory forever.

If you want to that is fine with me. Just as long as they aren't going around naked. The Genophage was never cured by the Andromeda krogans, they are still working on that unless I missed something.

Please link to that.

Some of those designs remind me of beetles. I like.

Have they met the Intiative yet or will they be waking up on the planetoid the quarian Ark crashed on or something else? I'm fine with them waking up and having their own ship right away.

I asked about lifespan because one was 81 years old, just wanted to see if that one was old as dirt or what.

@Burning Kitty Well, I don't know how that would fit in your plot but maybe they could be discovered? The Quarians maybe having their back on a zone with Remnant structures with defenses that attack anything that gets too close and a voice giving what people can only assume are warnings to get out. When the pathfinders encounter the Quarians and are told that it makes them curious, especially since remnants never, ever bothered to say something before. Cue the Composer telling the intruders once again to leave this place but the newcommers proceeding, fighting some remnants as Composer sends what he has at them until they go deep enough in the complex and the Composer awakes the Conservator to try and defend the site. Cue a nice little chat after that.

Or maybe the Quarian Pathfinder went through all of that already and the Jardaans are awake.

Also, who's the Initiative's Ambassador? Ye know, the person Ryder places in charge after the game until elections become feasable.

@Burning Kitty I just meant they could have taken measures to fix it. If I remember correctly the Krogans had achieved some small percentage of increased conception rate or something like that... I remember a conversation to that effect with Kesh. I'm proposing something similar for the quarians. They could survive without their masks aboard their ark and shuttle craft, but would have to use them when meeting new environments and species.

I can work with any way you want to do it. Awake when the game starts, awoken during the rescue of the quarian Ark, or after. If they are going to participate in the quarian Ark rescue I suggest already awoken before the game starts so as not to overly complicate the RPG.

Also, who's the Initiative's Ambassador? Ye know, the person Ryder places in charge after the game until elections become feasable.
Moshae Sjefa is the one I chose when I played.

Not really relevant I don't see those elections going well at all.

@Kazemitsu I did say it is a concept art I saw that picture too... Not in gameplay, but just now when I started picture hunting for my appearance. I was disappointed to say the least and prefer to think of it never existing But like I said, I don't mind if we keep them looking the way they do with their masks on.

There was a mission where Shepard learned about the beginning of the Morning War. If Shepard romanced Tali, Shepard brings up about how all the quarians are wearing the suits even though they don't have to. An AI or whatever tells Shepard that just because Shepard seen one doesn't mean Shepard can know what all look like. So since Shepard knows what the suits look like that is what Shepard sees.

Some quarians might have horn-like protrusions just don't know.

Alright, I'll wait to see the quarian pathfinder CS and work out how things have been with them.
