Thankfully for Audrey, his folks were gone somewhere. He didn’t know exactly where nor did he really care. There was only one thing on his mind when they got to his place and that was finally having his way with Audrey. To hell with the plan he had to maim her reputation or maim that tool, Oscar. Forget what Florence was going to help him with--none of it mattered; the only thing that mattered was what they were going to do all over his house.

And so they did. From the moment they came through the doors to the moment they were in his bed, the two couldn’t keep their hands off each other. Engaging in acts that put even the kinkiest of lovers to shame. The things that they did was something of legend--something that would make some raise their eyebrows at the duo. It went on for a few hours until they eventually took a break in Alexandros’ bed. Both covered with his satin sheets and expensive blankets, though Alexandros would look over at her with a proud smug. He didn’t know about her, but those were some of the best hours he spent. Definitely worth skipping school over; not that he would have any problem skipping, anyway.

Sea-colored eyes bounced off of deep sienna as marble gazed at a rich, chocolate mold with a caramel touch. These two things were completely opposite of each other yet they were decadent and rich, which made them perfect for each other. The universe tested them and in response, they defied it in the only way that they could. Truly, this was the start of something wonderful. Both knew it. Though, what would happen afterward? That was the million dollar question that not even Alexandros Mossos could answer at the moment.

Be honest, Huntsberg; I’m the best you’ve ever had.” Finally, having enough of simply staring at her, ALexandros broke the silence.

But do you feel like a young god?
You know the two of us are just young gods
And we'll be flying through the streets with the people underneath
And they're running, running, running
But do you feel like a young god?
You know the two of us are just young gods
And we'll be flying through the streets with the people underneath
And they're running, running, running again

The hours spent at Alexandros’ house were a blur. The two had done nothing but explore each other’s bodies from the moment the front doors were closed behind them. Most rooms from his never-ending home were witnesses to the fire of their misdeeds. It had started off slow and sensual, gradually intensifying until it was nothing but red-hot passion. The wanting for each other that had long been consuming them was finally being taken care of, and it was obvious in the way they went at each other. By the time the two were done, they barely had strength to climb into Alexandros’ bed for a well-deserved break.

After the deed was over and done, Audrey lay under the covers in Alex’s bed, with a lazy arm over her eyes and the shadow of a closed-lipped smile. Her heart was still in the process of winding down, and she was slowly catching her breath. At that moment, the young woman was feeling quite content. She had finally gotten what she’d so desperately wanted, and it had surpassed every single expectation, along with ones she didn't even know she had. It had been a tumultuous road, but they’d reached the destination in the end. Right now, nothing else mattered. But even if all past misdeeds were put aside -never forgotten; simply put aside for a moment- there was still a lingering question… What was going to happen now?

Before Audrey’s mind began racing through all possible scenarios, her thoughts were interrupted by Alexandros’ voice. At his words, she moved her arm away from her face and turned her head in his direction.

“If you think for a single second that I'm going to contribute in further fluffing up that behemoth ego of yours by answering that question, you're mistaken.” Audrey sassily clapped back, shifting her position to lying on her side while further snuggling into the comfortable sheets of Alexandros’ bed. Her eyes were sparkling with the satisfaction of knowing she had finally gotten what she wanted, and her face still had a familiar, tell-tale flush. “But I will admit it was good, Mossos,” she declared, taking the chance to steal a kiss from him. Even if she wasn't going to admit to it, he was indeed the best she'd had.

I'm more than just 'good'--I'm perfection!"” Alexandros corrected her.

Most men might revel in hearing someone as glamorous as Audrey Huntsberg compliment them in their sexual prowess, but Alexandros wasn’t most men. When Audrey had told him he was good, he was actually disappointed. He knew he was better than just ‘good’--fantastic, definitely--but not just good. To him, that hurt more than it helped. It was apparent that he didn’t like what she said, so he simply sighed to express that.

She wanted to keep his ego from getting any larger than what it was already was, but when your ego reached the highest point it already could go, there was no increasing it any further. Then again, Alexandros always did like to defy all expectations. When it came to people thinking he couldn’t get any more arrogant always were proven wrong. They never could estimate how wrong they were about him--especially when it came to bragging about his sexual prowess.

Allow me to show you,” Alexandros cooly stated, raising the sheets above them. As they say, the rest is history.

After what was a very long night, morning had arrived for the couple. The two laid all cuddled up on the bedroom’s plush queen-sized bed, nice and warm under the luxurious covers and the closeness each other’s bodies. Audrey Huntsberg woke up to a single ray of bright light shining directly in her face, signaling to the arrival of a new day. The brightness in sleepy chocolate brown eyes bothered her, so she turned around to avoid it. She found herself tucked underneath someone’s chin. Frowning, she moved back a little and came face to face with a young man. The person sleeping beside her, who had been acting as the big spoon, was Alexandros: still fast and deep asleep as confirmed by his deep snoring. The events of the past day flooded into Audrey’s memory, and a warm, fuzzy feeling washed over her. It had finally happened: they had become one.

Audrey was smiling now, taking advantage of his nearly comatose-state to express the soft feelings she would normally hold back in order to preserve her tough, hard to get persona. He had his arms around her, but he was so far gone intro Dream Land that her actions didn’t wake him. Her soft smile widened as she watched him: the locks of dark brown hair on his forehead, the feathery eyelashes, the full lips that felt like fire upon her skin, his strong jaw… Before she realized what she was doing, her fingers were brushing the hair off his forehead and gently caressing his light-skinned cheek. She savored the feeling of their bodies so close to each other, the strength of his arms wrapped around her, enjoying every little detail… Because who knew if this would be the only time?

Even as she was lost in cuddling with Alex peacefully sleeping beside her, Audrey wasn’t immune to what was happening around her. In the silence of the morning, the sound of footsteps approaching the bedroom were getting closer. Horrified, the brunette watched as the doorknob to Alexandros’ room slowly began to turn. The thought of being discovered in his bed by members of the house staff -or worse: of his family members- was a embarrassment she wanted to save herself from. And so, Audrey had just enough time to slid inside the covers and pretend to be nothing but a stack of pillows before she heard the door slowly open.

Morning broke and Alexandros was fast asleep. Last night was intense for a lot of reasons. He wore himself out doing something he loved more than anything: entertaining a woman. However, this wasn’t just any woman. Thus far in his young life in which he had a lot of conquests, this was the woman to push him in a lot of different ways. Making it hard for him to just get her. Easily the most complex of women he tried to get, but at the end of the day, a Mossos got what they wanted. Though it depended on the Mossos, they always get their way.

And did he ever get his way. Five times in fact. So, of course, Alexandros deserved a bit of extra rest. At this very moment, he was dreaming of his many conquests and was about to relive them. However, someone close to him felt the need to interrupt that.

Alexandros, open this god-forsaken door right now!” Ava’s crude tone woke up a sleeping Alexandros.

He groaned, moaning out of annoyance rather than pleasure. Alexandros rose up, hearing Ava persist in her knocking. It was as if she didn’t understand the concept of a locked door. If it was locked, then there was a reason for that. But to her--especially when it came to Alexandros--she always wanted to make sure that she didn’t care about that. Indeed, his sister would do anything just to spite him.

He sighed and got up, though he caught the sudden movements from Audrey as she hid under the covers as if out of fear or something similar to it. “There’s nothing to worry about.” Alexandros told her, getting up and grabbing a pair of dark blue sweatpants to cover up his extremities. He would then walk over to the door, unlocking it, and letting Ava come in.

Who are you talking to?

You.

I mean just a minute ago.

A minute ago, I was sleeping. Thanks to your bothersome knocking, I am no longer doing that.

Frustrated, Ava huffed and proceeded to stomp lightly into Alexandros’ room. She couldn’t help but notice a slight shaking from his bed. “Who is under your covers?

Sheets and a mattress.

You know what I mean. I can clearly see it shaking.

Oh. right, that’d be my lady friend.

Ava turned around, looking at him. “It better not be that Vio-bitch!” Ava suddenly snapped.

Alexandros smirked, then laughed. “No, it’s not her. Though, I haven’t seen her in a while. Maybe I should ring her up.” Alexandros pondered on that for a serious moment just to further annoy Ava.

Alex..no..

I’m just kidding. Relax, would ya?” Alexandros patted her shoulder, walking past her. “It’s just--well..” Alex reached over and revealed Audrey.

You have to be kidding me…” Ava was speechless.

I told you it wasn’t Viola.

Ava took a moment to collect herself. Only when she let the realization set in that Alexandros had actually done it, she took in a deep breath. “Well, I guess it’s better than that blonde bimbo.” Ava looked at a petrified Audrey. “I guess, uh, welcome to the family?” She scratched her head, “there’s coffee downstairs. Dad and mom are out, so it’s just us and Georgie. Eli’s out. So, at the very least, you won’t have to face our parents.” Ava assured Audrey.

As she would walk out, Ava was mumbling something to herself. Alexandros couldn’t make it out, though he had to imagine it was how could Alex possibly have nailed it--he means Audrey. When he looked at Audrey, he knew she couldn’t be too happy with him now. “Don’t give me that look. Ava’s really observant. You should really work on the concept of ‘staying still.” Alexandros teased her, bopping her nose with his right index finger.

After a moment of letting her chew him out, Alex got up and reached over to one of his semi-clean shirts. “In either case, there’s some food waiting for us. I’m sure you’re just dying to meet Georgie. I promise he’s not as overpowering as yours truly, though he’s also not as awesome.” He shrugged, letting her decide if she truly wanted to go down right away.

Alexandros, open this god-forsaken door right now!

A shrill voice rang through the outside hallway and Alexandros’ bedroom, loud enough to be heard clearly even with the heavy wooden door being locked and shut. Audrey heard Alex moan irritably beside her, and silently watched him as he rose from the bed, leaving the top of her head partially exposed. The brunette hastened to cover herself up completely once more, thus attracting Alex’s attention for a moment.

There’s nothing to worry about. he said, in a tone meant to reassure her. The words, of course, had not had his desired effect on Audrey. She was as reassured as one could be while laying nude under the covers of a man’s bed with his sister shouting bloody murder outside his door, demanding to go inside.

’Nothing to worry about, my ass.’

Audrey didn’t have much time to think, because soon she was hearing footsteps, the door unlocking, the doorknob moving and the door swinging open.

The young woman’s voice inquired, in the same brass tone, who Alex had been talking to, to which he gave a smartass answer. As expected, the young woman continued to question him, and this time he replied with a lie. From her position under the covers, Audrey was starting to get a familiar sensation in her lower region, one that was as unwelcome as a sneeze would be in this situation… She wanted to pee. Badly.

As a pair of lighter footsteps entered the room, Audrey felt her body starting to shake with the pressure of holding the pee in. Unfortunately, this was noted by the young woman, who commented aloud on the fact, Audrey closed her eyes and willed her body to stop shaking and focus on other than the fact that she really had to go. But as it often happens in cases like this: the more you try not to think about it, the more you do.

To Latina’s dismay, Alexandros admitted he had a ‘lady friend’ in his bed. She was relieved that he hadn’t mentioned her name, but the relief was soon replaced with suspicion when the young woman mentioned another female’s name. At this, Alex laughed and denied. However, when he said something about ringing the other girl up, Audrey was now shaking with holding back from getting out of the covers, grabbing him by the throat and demanding to know who this ‘Vio-bitch’ was.

At the young woman’s clear disapproval, Alex shrugged off his previous comments. And to prove his point, he pulled the covers to reveal the person hidden underneath them.

Audrey let out a shriek as she felt the covers pulled off her. She’d barely had time to grab enough of the sheets as to not have her whole body exposed. But her head and shoulders were now completely visible for the world to see. Her eyes, wide with shock at the embarrassing situation she was in, met a pair of blue ones similar to Alexandros’. The petite, pajama-clad young woman staring at her with an identical speechless expression to hers was Alexandros’ younger sister Ava. Whatever urge to pee Audrey had previously had, it instantly vanished.

Audrey watched with a petrified expression as Ava gathered herself again before declaring she was ‘better than than that blonde bimbo’ and addressing her directly. The brunette swallowed as the young woman sort of welcomed her to the family (which was a rather interesting choice of words seeing as this was the first time Audrey and Alex had been ‘together’), gave her a rundown of which family member was in and who was out, and reassured her that at least she wouldn’t have to face the Mossos heads of the family before heading out, mumbling to herself. Although this was a fact that did relieve her, it did nothing to change the fact that she had been caught in Alexandros’ bed by his sister.

Finally, Alexandros looked at Audrey, who shot him a death glare so heated that it could have melted the Antarctic.

Don’t give me that look. Ava’s really observant. You should really work on the concept of ‘staying still. he teased her, bopping her nose with his right index finger.

At any other moment, she would have found the gesture endearing. But instead, she slapped his hand away.

“That didn’t mean you had to fucking expose me like that, Alexandros!” Audrey shrieked indignantly, throwing the sheets off from her body and rising up to her full 5’7” height. Even if Alex had nearly half a foot on her, the way her brown eyes blazed with anger and her fists were shut tight were enough to sober him up. “What the fuck were you thinking, pulling the sheets off me like that?! And in front of your sister, no less! Pull a little harder and she would’ve gotten a real eyeful! I can’t believe you made me go through this fucking humiliating scene. What’s she going to think about me now?! Ever stopped to think about that? Of course not, you selfish prick! All you care about is yourself!”

Alex paid no attention to her rant, and instead continued as if nothing had happened. He mentioned meeting his brother and food, and even in Audrey’s livid state some breakfast sounded good to her now-aching stomach (which was definitely contributing to her current abrasive mood). Begrudgingly, she unceremoniously grabbed the shirt from Alex’s hand and slid it on her tanned body. As she buttoned it, she made her way to a dresser and opened it without permission. She found just what she’d been looking for on the first try: a pair of black boxer briefs, which she quickly slid on before making her way to face Alexandros.

“For the record: if I ever hear about you getting involved with this Viola person -whoever that whore is- I will bite your dick off. And trust me, I am not playing around. Just ask Bianca Salazar and Janice Nelson.”

Before he could register what had just been said, Audrey summoned up as much dignity as she could given her current position; as much dignity as one could had when wearing nothing but one of Alex’s clean boxers and a button-down shirt. The brunette turned her back on him, locks of wavy brown hair swinging behind her, and stomped out of the room, head held high. She didn’t wait for Alex to escort her to the kitchen, and took it upon herself to get there on her own even if it meant getting lost along the way.

But first things first: she really needed to pee.

As soon as she was done with her initial reaction to him revealing her face to Ava and how she would threaten him with this and threaten him with that, Alexandros simply waited for her to register what his sister had said: there was food downstairs. Even though he didn’t know her as well as he would like to(it’s still a work in progress), he knew women. And after a woman had their fill of him, they liked to ransack his food supply. It was like a morning-after ritual at Casa Mossos.

So, when she finally calmed down, though her reaction to Viola was interesting. He shrugged at it, of course, but it was interesting all the same. When she name dropped Janice, Alexandros wouldn’t react at all. He knew that one wouldn’t go unscaved. Her finding out about Janice was him being careless. Didn’t seem to be a problem anymore since he got what he wanted from Audrey and intended to keep getting it as many times as he wanted. As for that young Bianca Salazar, it was what it was. He used her to get Audrey’s attention. An ends to a means.

When Alexandros would start to head towards the door, he noticed Audrey took a beeline for the bathroom. Only was it a moment later did he realize what she had to do. Sighing, he went on his way downstairs to join his siblings for a decently-prepared meal. It actually did seem to be quite the feast. Nothing too glamorous but it certainly was not bad. There was a mixture of traditional Greek and Italian items as well as some American comforts like pancakes and french toast. Potatoes were on the table, as well as some bacon. Coffee was already prepared in two cups. Black, of course, Sugar and cream were set beside each cup.

Morning Georgie,” Alexandros gave a small smile to his brother who returned it was a wide grin, almost chuckling.

He took a seat across from Ava who sat next to Georgie. As always, his younger brother was lively with a smile. Honestly, he was the only one of the four Mossos children that were always chipper. It always was a mystery to Alexandros how his brother, given the attitude that runs in the Mossos genes, could not only be always happy but he also never displayed the common arrogance, however, varied it might be among each Mossos, once in all the time they’ve been alive. It was almost as if the concept of arrogance or being egotistical was foreign to him. Perhaps it was for the best, then. At least one of them had to be pure.

Sleep well, Alexy?” Georgi asked, wanting to start off the conversation.

Alexandros shrugged. “I didn’t do much sleeping.

As Georgie was, he let out a rather exaggerated gasp.

Calm it down there. It’s far too early for that shit,” Ava warned Georgie not to start with his theatrics before she could have her coffee.

But, what could you have been doing--

As if on cue, Georgie noticed Audrey come in. “Whoa! Alex, that’s Audrey Huntsberg!” Georgie let out a squeal of delight, getting up and approaching her. “I know you get this a lot, but you are simply amazing. I have watched all of the videos of your dances on Youtube.” Georgie, though he probably didn’t intend to, he was hugging her with a surprising amount of force; though not enough to cause any harm - just really tight.

Both Alexandros and Ava sighed, shaking their head. “Georgie, let the woman breathe. You can fangirl out once she’s a little alert.” Ava told him.

In that, Georgie would return to his seat and let Audrey get adjusted.

The relief Audrey felt after finally using the bathroom was beyond compare. Now her attention was shifted to more pressing matters: hunger. As much as she was looking for to get some nourishment after the night she’d just had, the prospect of meeting yet another member of the Mossos clan in her present state was not one she was looking forward to. While washing her hands on the sink, the brunette debated on pulling a Chapo and escaping from Casa Mossos while everyone was busy at the kitchen. A loud growl of her stomach quickly vetoed that plan, causing Audrey to let out a deep, annoyed sigh.

Oh, well. Might as well take advantage of the meal while she was there.

Sighing again, Audrey dried her hands and made the somewhat long walk from the upstairs bathroom to the kitchen. Although keeping her head held high with a straight face, her nervousness increased with every step. The nerves were replaced with curiosity when she was steps away from the kitchen. Voices were coming from the room: Alex’s, Ava’s and another high-pitched male one. She heard the high-pitched male voice ask Alex if he’d slept well, and Audrey could clearly see in her mind the smirk Alex must have had in his face when he declared he hadn’t slept much. The Latina rolled her eyes, but ultimately smirked herself as the memories of the past night washed over her. Another growl from her stomach pulled her back to reality, and after giving another annoyed sigh she entered the kitchen.

Whoa! Alex, that’s Audrey Huntsberg!

The young man’s shriek caused Audrey to stop cold on her tracks. She felt her eyes widen with surprise as a thin male teen that looked to be no older than fifteen basically jumped out of his seat and approached her. However, the crown jewel of this mortifying situation was when, after he declared she was ‘amazing’ and that he had ‘watched all of the videos of her dances on Youtube’, he wrapped her in a hug that was rather strong for someone with his skinny frame.

“Uuuuuuuuuummmmm, thanks...” Audrey muttered awkwardly as she returned the hug, visibly cringing. She had never felt this out of her element in her whole life.

She was thankful for Ava’s interjection in her behalf. It seemed his sister was the only one who could get him to behave, because at her scold the young man named Georgie let go of Audrey and sat down. Meanwhile, the brunette took a few seconds to compose herself before taking up the empty seat next to Alexandros. She tucked a strand of her wavy brown hair behind her ear and looked around the room, purposely avoiding eye contact with everyone.

“This is a really nice kitchen.” Audrey blurted out, clearing her throat at the end of her statement. The uncomfortable silence was killing her, as was the unwanted attention. The kitchen just happened to be the first thing that came to mind.

Right..

Truth be told, Alexandros had no idea what to say about the kitchen. Yes, it was nice. Yes, they had the best of everything: best cabinet, best refrigerator-freezer combo, best countertops, best table and chairs, and they even had the best lights money could buy. But, you take all of the expensive stuff in it, there wasn’t anything really special about it. It was just as useful as any other Beverly Hills kitchen. So that left Alexandros wondering, of all things, that was what she chose to say. Not a comment about how touchy-feely his out-little brother was or some kind of angry retort about how he left her upstairs while he came down for food.

But sure, it’s a very nice kitchen.

He just let out a sigh, watching how starstruck Georgie was and how annoyed Ava was with both of her brothers. She was annoyed at Georgie because he was practically drooling as his idol couldn’t help but gaze upon her like a fan and she was apparently annoyed at Alex. The reason why was solely dependent on the day. One day, she showed anger towards him because he cut her off for the bathroom. Another day it was because he purposely did something to tick her off. So, you see, it was a mystery to him as to why she was annoyed at him at this very moment, but Alexandros didn’t have the interest to indulge in her moods, so he simply ignored her.

So, Audrey,” Ava decided to break the five-minute silence after everyone had gotten their fair share of the food. “Tell me, what possessed you to actually want to crawl into bed with him? Was it the money? It’s no secret that our family is wealthy. You wouldn’t believe how many skanks he’s had in his bed that were after a good payday.” She spoke, seemingly glaring at Audrey.

She didn’t know her that well—only by reputation. She was a hardass and strict with her dance team. She was even more so in her personal relations, yet somehow kept it all together under the persona that wasn’t subtle to anyone who happened to know even a little about her. Luckily for Ava, Georgie knew everything there was to know about Audrey Huntsberg. If it has to do with her, no matter what it was, he was on top of it. He follows her on Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram. He’s the president of her unofficial fanclub. And if that’s not bad enough, he attends every single one of her dance recitals. He’s cheering for his idol each time she performs at any event, be ti pep rallies, games, or whatever. It’s a bit weird and bizarre, but Ava was at least thankful that she knew about Audrey without actually having to speak to her, which made her assumption of her questionable.

Or perhaps he drugged you.

Ava, come on. Give me a bit of credit.

So, you didn’t drug her.

No, I didn’t.

What then? I’m curious exactly why one of the most dignified, if not just slightly bitchy—no offense—girls at our school decided to get with you.” Ava truly was puzzled by this. She couldn’t, for the life of her, understand Audrey’s reasoning.

There were five long, insufferable minutes of silence after Audrey’s kitchen comments. In which, the brunette proceeded to fill up her plate with an assortment of breakfast foods and start eating. Soon enough it was Ava who, as if not being able to stand the quietness any longer, decided to speak up. Her words came blunt and slightly accusing as she asked Audrey if her interest in her brother came from his wallet.

Instead of taking offense to Ava Mossos’ accusations, Audrey actually smirked in amusement. Although she hid it behind a mask of crassness, it was clear that the petite girl cared very much about her brother. It made sense, seeing as she was probably well aware of the intentions of some women while Alex had simply used his dick instead of his brain. The closest the Latina had to a sibling was Delilah and Leslie, and she would most definitely be suspicious and on the lookout for anyone trying to get advantage of them. It was this why she wasn’t fazed with the suspicions, and instead tried to reassure the young woman sitting across her that she had no ill intentions.

“Oh, no. I’m pretty well off in the financial department.” Audrey calmly replied to Ava, taking a bite of her scrambled eggs and swallowing them before continuing with her answer. “If you’ve got any doubts, a quick Google search can provide you with most of the answers you seek. If my family was going through any sort of financial situation or distress, everyone would know: trust me. The tabloids would have a field day.”

At Ava’s inquiry of if Alex had drugged her to get her to sleep with him, Audrey’s eyes widened, and she nearly choked on her juice. “Wait, has he done that before?!” she cried out, clearly concerned. Unfortunately, her comment was ignored by the bickering of the Mossos siblings. She made a mental note to inquire further about this accusation later on.

A second attempt at not choking on her juice failed miserably when Ava once again put Audrey on the hot seat. This time, the girl voiced aloud her puzzlement at how the brunette had ended up in bed with Alexandros. The question caused a surprised Audrey to succumb to a quick coughing fit, which thankfully subsided after a few short seconds. What was she supposed to say? She cleared her throat a few times before speaking up.

“I’ll plead the Fifth on that one, darling Ava.” Audrey said matter-of-factly, as if she hadn’t been choking on her drink again just seconds before. She looked into the Mossos girl’s eyes -just as gorgeous as her brother’s- before answering. “Whatever answer I give you will only serve to further inflate that enormous ego your brother so proudly possesses. So I think I’m doing us both a favor by not answering that particular question.”

Of course, this excuse was not the real reason Audrey refused to diffuse Ava’s curiosity on why she, ‘one of the most dignified -if not just slightly bitchy- girls at school’ chose to intimately involve herself with the girl’s big brother. But, how could Audrey possibly explain the strange spell Alexandros had placed on her from the moment her eyes met his? How could she explain that he had some sort of hold on her, and that from the day she saw him there had been no other guy in her mind? How could she put into words that she had never wanted a guy as badly as she wanted Alexandros, and that finally having him had made all her fantasies a reality? The answer was, she couldn’t. Not without sounding like some sort of smitten loser (which she clearly wasn’t, right?). So, in order to preserve her integrity and mystery somewhat, Audrey dodged the question and continued to eat her breakfast.

You’ve got a point there.” Ava echoed Audrey’s sentiments. “You can’t give him any sort of gratification or his big head might explode. Or worse, he might think he’s a god or something.” She let out a sigh.

Alexandros couldn’t help but feel attacked, though he didn’t show it. To him, it was Ava just being her usual, jealous self. It must be really hard not being perfect. Their parents thought highly of her, sure, but there was nothing like being the first-born. No matter what any parent might say to their child to assure them they love every single of their children equally, there’s always a part of their hearts where their first-born child resided. Even if he was wrong, if Ava thought it to be true, then it was worth rubbing it in her face. After all, regardless if it was true or not about what she just said, giving her any gratification about being right was also something he wasn’t about to let happen.

But, enough of that. Alexandros was rather interested in how this was going to play out. His sister and his...current house guest were having a conversation. On one side, Ava wanted to know what on earth had gotten into her to sleep with Alexandros and in the corner of Audrey, she simply didn’t give any hint to that. Don’t disappoint, ladies.

Ava eyed Audrey closely. This girl was skilled in the art of the poker face. It was hard for Ava to get a read on her. Still, something had to give. “I hope you used a condom. The last thing mom and dad want is another pregnancy scare by your current hussy,” she looked at Audrey, “again, no offense. You seem like a real charmer, but you wouldn’t believe the company he keeps.” She let out an exasperated sigh, glaring at Alexandros who had simply smiled, feigning innocence about Ava’s claim.

“Exactly.” Audrey agreed, pointing her empty fork at Ava and shooting her a complicit wink before continuing to eat her breakfast contently. It was cool that the younger sister echoed her sentiments. Maybe this meant that a potential good relationship could be developing… If she were to decide to continue being involved with Alex, that is. That was still to be figured out.

At Ava’s mention of using condoms, Audrey waved a hand. They had, in fact, protected themselves. It was somewhat of a rule of hers that if there was no glove, there was no party. However, the satisfaction was short-lived when the brunette heard the words another pregnancy scare. Her insides turned to fire just thinking about how reckless Alex must be to have gone through that already... And more than a few times, it seemed. She was so angry that Ava’s next words didn't register with her.

“‘Another one’?” Audrey repeated curiously, using air quotes and everything. She was building up to a rage, which was clearly seen in her eyes when she shot Alex ‘that’ look. “Is this a common occurrence with Alex, going around life not using condoms?” the brunette asked Ava, keeping that flaming stare in Alex’s direction with a fake sweet smile. “Because if it is, I would very much like to be excluded from that narrative.”

She then took a moment to lean and whisper something in Alex’s ear. “If you gave me something, I swear to God I will claw out your dick.” she muttered, squeezing him as if to prove her point. Their position on the table and her long hair had covered her actions, so nobody but him saw or heard her threat.

Having said this, she turned back to Ava with a closed-lipped smile. “I’m sorry, where were we?”

Ava eyed Audrey as if she was a dumb blonde or something. “Yes, another one; as in it’s more than one - dos, if you will.” Ava retorted with her usual sarcasm, though she did notice that Audrey leaned into Alexandros, wondering exactly what she was saying to him. Knowing him and what she [Ava] had just said about Alexandros’ sexual endeavors, it didn’t mean good things for him, which brought a proud smile to Ava’s mouth as she happily dug into her food.

On the other end of the table, Alexandros felt that familiar chill down his spine as Audrey not-so-subtly threatened him. What a wonderful feeling it was getting these on the regular basis. The first time was Alexandros’ fault, of course, but every time after that seemed to be the work of someone else. If it wasn’t Florence, then it was Ava. He never did seem to be able to catch a break when it came to this woman. At the least, though, he knew she cared. The fact that she was worried she caught something brought a smile to Alexandros’ face and he stared back at Ava who only looked at him with a confused expression.

Ava raised her eyebrow at Alex but then heard Audrey. “Oh right, I think you asked about my brother’s refusal to use condoms.” She smirked at Alexandros. “To answer that would be to dredge up ancient history.” She glanced at Alex, seeing the oh-so-subtle gleam in his eyes that was telling her not to do it.

“Ava..”

She contemplating for a moment. As she hummed lowly, seriously considering her options, she gave Alexandros a beaming smile. He knew what was coming.. “So would you like to know about the time he did our last nanny or our neighbor's nanny?”

And there it was. The obvious war between siblings was on. Alex drew the line in the sand and Ava crossed it, boasting her military arsenal of secrets. In that moment, Alexandros knew there was nothing he could do. For once, the half-Greek God of Greatness was at the mercy of the artful Ava.

Oh, the less I know the better
The less I know the better

It seemed that surprises were in order for this morning. Ava Mossos never seemed to lose an opportunity to expose her brother, and this fact seemed to bring the girl much joy. Audrey watched from the sidelines as Alex grew more uncomfortable and tense beside her, while Ava became more gleeful and sarcastic. The climax came when the Mossos girl beamingly asked Audrey if she wanted to know the stories of how Alex had been intimate with two previous nannies: their own and their neighbor's.

Once again, Audrey’s brown eyes widened. Although she knew the best thing was to abandon ship before things got ugly, Ava had peaked the Latina’s curiosity. And even when she knew sometimes it was better to not know anything in order to keep one’s peace of mind, the curiosity was too strong.

“I would love to hear the story.” Audrey replied sweetly, fake smile still in place. Under the table, her nails were discreetly digging the skin on Alexandros’ thigh.

For the love of God, don't tell her.

Ava could see Alexandros' subtle way of trying to tell her not to say anything about Raychelle, the maid-like nanny they had last year and Kelly, the nanny for the Davenport family across the street. She knew he didn't want Audrey to know about them and how he seduced them on several occasions or how they both got fired because of how they foolishly thought they could outwit Alexandros. But it was her brother that got the worst of it when their mother scolded him and banned him from driving his favorite Ferrari for a whole month. She knew that he didn't want any of that made public, yet Ava was feeling especially devious this morning, not to mention this would be the perfect chance for her to get back at him for all last week when he didn't have her side regarding how she stayed with Jackson for those few hours.

Payback's a bitch, ain't it, Alex?

"I imagine it's something very similar to how you two ended up shacking up," Ava shrugged, assuming Alexandros did the same thing. "Maybe the only difference was you didn't have a job or your professional reputation to worry about - just your personal one." Ava mused, glaring at Alexandros who seemed to be hiding some kind of painful anguish. "Though, the funny thing about our previous maid, Raychelle, she actually got her revenge. After she got fired, Alexandros was actually grounded from driving his Ferrari. He had to settle for his BMW. As I'm sure you could imagine, he took it hard." Ava thought on that, "kind of like those nannies did when..well, you know."

Darling, you must make your heart steel.

Audrey listened with feigned interest as Ava Mossos briefly explained her brother's trysts with the maid and nanny-next-door, gasping at all the right moments. The brunette was thankful that not many details were offered, because enough hurt was felt at just knowing the extent of his wicked games. A rising tide of determination was growing inside the young Latina, and she made a promise to herself: she would not be one of Alexandros' 'victims'. She refused to be just another chick in his credentials, another booty call on his cellphone for whenever he pleased, another addition to Ava's ever-growing archive of 'Whores My Asshole Brother Has Slept With'. She had stupidly fallen once to his charms and games, but she would not do so again. No matter how good or memorable the last night had been, it would surely be the only one. Audrey would, as usual, make her heart steel, and follow the very popular saying: 'Never make the same mistake twice.'

"Oh! Well, look at the time!" Audrey exclaimed after a quick glance to the nearest clock. Her fingernails were now mercifully released from Alex's skin, where four thin and bloody crescent moons were visible in the light skin. She hoped they would leave a lasting mark. "I think it's best I should get going."

Using her body as leverage, the tanned skinned femme pulled the chair away from the kitchen island and gracefully stood up. A brief view of her posterior was offered to Alexandros without being meant to, but it was quickly corrected when Audrey straightened the shirt of his she was wearing. She turned to Ava and Georgios with a smile.

"It was a pleasure to meet you both. Maybe I'll see you guys around school sometime." she said honestly. Audrey turned to Georgios now, who had been rather quiet throughout the whole incident. "I'm pretty sure you know this already, but the team's last competition of this semester is on the first week of December. That's when we know if we make it to Nationals or not, which I'm certain we most definitely will. If you're interested in a front-row seat, hit me up."

Without so much as a glance in Alexandros' direction, Audrey straightened up and sauntered out of the room. She was up the stairs and in his room in no time, and once inside she diligently began to pick up her stuff. Her clothes were strewn around the huge space, so it took some time until she was finally dressed exactly as she had arrived in the so-called 'Casa Mossos'. With the last bit of battery on her phone, she summoned an Uber to pick her up and take her home. Audrey wanted this experience to be over and done with.

”Honestly, Ava this is why no one likes to play with you.” Alexandros coldly scolded her.Watching Audrey leave with as much class as she could, Alexandros let out a grunting sigh as he stood up. He gave Ava a slight scowl before following Audrey. He was still feeling the soreness of her nails digging into his thigh, but he still found the strength to walk at a reasonable pace. Through his slight hopping, Alexandros was able to catch Audrey just before she would turn for the stairs, though as she would glare at him, he could tell she was upset. Unlike before, it wasn’t the playful kind, either. Goddamn it, Ava. Now I have to clean up your mess.

Alexandros kept cursing himself as he stood there across from Audrey, thinking of what to say. He saw her dialing a number. Peeking over her shoulder briefly, he saw that she was ordering an Uber. Apparently, it was past the point of her being convinced to stay. Fucking Ava, she always had to make everyone aware of his past mistakes. Yes, he knew the fucking the nannies was an unfortunate thing to do. Yes, he knew blaming it on one of his friends and getting away with it (though his parents still grounded him for it) was a mistake on his part. And yes, he knew that it would come back to haunt him, but why would Ava bring it up in the first place? It wasn’t her place and even more to the point, it was just flat-out cruel.

“You can’t honestly believe her, can you?” Nice, starting out with a lie to counteract what you hope to convince her was a lie, but actually was the truth. Classic Alexandros Mossos. “You know she has a reputation of fabricating ‘truths’ just to cause trouble. You might remember that whole story about how Benjamin Cross got into trouble with the law last year. He was caught dealing drugs and sold them to kids at West Bev.” Alexandros hoped this would work. “Granted, Benji Cross is kind of a tool and tends to work outside of authority, but the truth was that he and Ava fooled around and to get even, she used her own connections she’s made through the children of my father’s associates to set him up. Currently, he’s serving a 2-year sentence because of what she did.” Alexandros informed Audrey. “But do you know what the worst of it is? Benji was the best racer in my crew, so now I’m left sticking with some punk who doesn’t know how to drive to save his life.” Alexandros had turned what began as a case to prove that Ava was lying into how she screwed him over his best crew member.

“You can’t honestly believe her, can you?”

Audrey rolled her eyes and turned to face him, anger clear in her beautiful features. Alexandros had followed her on her way to his room, silently watching her as she gathered her things and ordered an Uber. It was clear her could feel the anger emanating from her figure and the ever-present scowl, because he made no attempt to convince her to stay. Or so she’d thought.

“And I should believe you instead?” she spat sarcastically.

Instead of replying, Alexandros launched into a story about how Ava had ‘betrayed’ one of his racing crew members, and how this guy Benji Cross was serving time because of this. All the while, Audrey sarcastically replied with exaggerated gestures, making it very clear that she did not believe a single word that came out of his lips. When he was done, it was time for her to lash out.

“You are so full of SHIT!” Audrey shrieked furiously. Her brown eyes were burning. It wasn't a normal occurrence to see Audrey Huntsberg completely flipping out at anyone, but Alex had managed to bring her to her breaking point. Her rant even included the hand gestures. “What does fucking Benji Cross even have to do with this?! I don't give a fuck about him, your stupid little club or whatever your sister does in her free time. The thing I do care about is you walking through life thinking I'm going to be just one of your many whores -and let me tell you something, it seems you have a whole fucking list of them-, because you bet your ass I won’t. I refuse to be another pussy in your portfolio.”

Just then, Audrey’s phone pinged. The Uber had just arrived. It was time to go. She turned back to Alex while heading for the door.

“I know you won't have much trouble finding a replacement for me. It seems you're very good at that. Do whatever you fucking want, just never fucking speak to me again.”

And after giving Alexandros one last death glare, Audrey turned on her heel and stormed out.

Okay, so that didn’t work. Now what?

Alexandros tried to get a word in, but when she started on a rant, it was difficult to get a word in - even for someone as forceful and charming as Alexandros. On top of everything she said, he heard that ping from her phone. Considering the timing of it, there wasn’t a doubt in his mind that it was from her Uber app. So, time really wasn’t on his side. It was foreign to Alexandros but he wouldn’t let that stop him nor would he allow her death glare to falter his resolve. Though, it did cause douts to enter his head, only for a moment.

That’s all she needed. By the time Alexandros had realized she was gone, she was clear across the hallway. His room was about ten yards away. No matter how fast he ran for her, she had a headstart, which made him chasing after her a tad difficult. Not to mention that, as she opened the front door and burst through it as only she could, Alexandros, who was still halfway down the stairs, saw that his parents had came back, Baltazar gasping as he nearly was knocked down.

“Oh, sorry--” Balt said, interrupted as Audrey dashed for the Uber that had just pulled up.

Alexandros had finally made it to the parking lot. But, of course, he was too late. By the time he was able to catch a glimpse of the car, it had already taken off, which caused Alexandros to scowl. Though he hid it well enough as not to break face with his parents, there was still that lingering question of who exactly that person was and what did Alexandros do to anger her so?

After a few moments, Alexandros came back into the house, closing the door behind him. Eyes were on him from his parents and then there was Ava who seemed somewhat regretful.

“What happened?” Adrianne asked, looking to her eldest son and only daughter.

“Your daughter is what happened.”

“Ava?”

She shrugged, “I only told that girl what she would find out eventually.”

“Which was?”

“That Alexandros here is a big manwhore and she was just going to be just another name to add to his list of conquests.”

“She’s different,” Alexandros snapped, almost seeming hurt by this whole ordeal.

“And who exactly was she?” Baltazar asked, shadowing his wife and looking to his children.

“Audrey Huntsberg.”

“The daughter of that famous doctor and that pretentious magazine editor’s granddaughter?”

“As if there’s any other Audrey Huntsberg.”

That came as a shock to Baltazar, though he recalled meeting Miranda a few times. She held herself well, but a bit of an uptight bitch. Not exactly someone who would approve her granddaughter having any relation with Alexandros. But her father seemed to be more forgiving. “I seem to recall meeting her mother once. She’s quite the beauty. If she took after her mother, then I can see why you took a liking to her.”

Adrianna rolled her eyes. She remained focused on Alexandros, gauging her son’s face. “I’ll see what I can do about this.” She told Alex, which warranted a surprised reaction from him. “I do not know this young woman, but she’s obviously different.” Adrianna commented, “I may not approve of all your ventures, but I trust you enough to learn from them. If this girl is, as you say, different from the rest, then you haven’t lost her completely.” She reminded him, approaching her son. “You are part-DiVale and part-Mossos, Alexandros.” She put her hand to his cheek. “Give me a week. If I cannot achieve what I’m planning on doing, then you may do whatever it is you wish to.” Adrianna made Alexandros promise her.

“Very well, mother.” Alexandros simply said, nodding to his mother.

“Good, now Ava..” Adrianna turned her attention to her daughter. “About what you said to our guest.”

“I tried to warn You, didn't I?”

A week before Thanksgiving, Audrey and Leslie were finishing up their lunch at a cozy table in a shaded area of the school’s grounds. The rest of the A Team were tending to various personal affairs, so it was just the dynamic duo on this particular lunch day. This didn't bother the two girls: in fact, they very much cherished it. The brunette had wanted some one on one time with her raven-haired best friend to discuss the events with Alexandros and the fateful breakfast.

Audrey shook her head regrettably at Leslie’s words. “I know, Les, I know. And I'm stupid for not listening. If you had only heard the stories his sister told me about him… I'm lucky I didn't get herpes or some shit, with that backtrack record of his!”

“Ewwww!” Leslie cried out, disgust clear on her light-skinned face. She shook her head as if trying to get rid of unwelcome thoughts. “Anyway, I did my own little digging around, and from what I've found out the guy has been with at least a quarter of West Bev’s girls, maybe more. His tactic is to pretend he’s interested in the girl for a while, bed her anytime from one to a few times, and ultimately cut things off to follow up on the next one. Nothing about use of drugs on them, just his ‘charm and good looks’.” She said the last words with air quotes, and in a mocking voice that told Audrey her bestie didn't consider Alex had either of those.

“Well, it's not like I have to worry about that much longer.” Audrey said smugly, taking the last bite of her chocolate dessert and savoring it before continuing. “I cut things off with Alex right before I left his house, and ever since then he’s followed my order on never speaking to me again.”

“Good. And let's hope it stays that way.”

Their meal now finished, Audrey and Leslie gathered their things, threw away the trash in the appropriate containers, and made their way to the inside of the building. On the way, even when engaged in conversation with Leslie, the Latina was thoughtful. In reality, Audrey truly wished things had gone differently. She'd secretly really wanted to see Alex in a different light, maybe even having the chance to get to really know him. And, who knows, even achieving the impossible by becoming his first official relationship? But, of course, Ava’s exposure of her brother had shot that out the window. The brunette’ s reputation was more valuable than chasing after a daydream.

Before she could follow Leslie and some of her classmates into the History classroom, a voice called her name from the hallway. She turned to look in the direction of the person and found herself looking at Ms. Julia Delanley, the dance team coach. Miss Julia was an attractive olive-skinned, hazel-eyed, petite woman in her mid-twenties. She’d started working at Beverly Hills High on the same year Audrey was a freshman, and was named dance team coach upon her own request. Having been a dancer in her teenage years and early twenties, she had the experience for the job, and it showed: the Norman Dance Team’s winning streak was proof of that. With her as coach and Audrey as captain, the Normans were truly a force to be reckoned with.

“Hey, Miss Julia!” Audrey called out cheerfully, offering the slightly older woman a smile. “You called me?”

“Indeed I did, Miss Audrey.” Julia replied kindly, returning Audrey’s smile. “I was told to let you know the principal wants to see you in his office.”

While her face only showed a puzzled expression, worry began to fill Audrey. She tried to rack her brain to see what could possibly bring the Principal to want to see her, but came up with no valid reason. The situation was odd.

“Is there any particular reason he wants to see me?”

Julia shrugged. “I wasn't given the details except that I give you that message.”

Audrey mirrored Julia’s shrug. “Oh, well. I guess I'll just have to see for myself, won't we?”

Julia nodded with a smile. “I guess you shall, indeed. I'll see you at practice, okay?”

“Of course. See you later, Miss Julia!”

Shooting Audrey a parting wink, Ms. Julia Delanley turned on her heel and walked down the hall, presumably to her own classroom. Meanwhile, the young Latina walked in the opposite direction, making her way down the deserted hallways and to the Principal’s office. She was still wondering what was the reason she was summoned out of the blue when she opened the door to the office.

The new receptionist, a middle-aged woman that resembled the Monsters Inc. secretary, raised her eyes from the computer long enough to recognize Audrey’s face and give a jerk in the direction of the Principal’s office before moving back to her work. The bewildered brunette entered the room, closing the door behind her as was customary, and took the chair just in front of the Principal’s desk.

“You wanted to see me, sir?” Audrey asked politely, all grace and poise now.
