Monk Ishinobu - A powerful yet barely known Specialist

A figure cast in deep shadows walked in a childish circle inside of the monk’s temple. "Sooo ♪ You find anything on the Crows?"

Ishinobu, who had sat in the same spot for the better part of four days wrenched his arm back and pounded his lower back thrice. His face scrunched with an easy agitation. "Of course. I doubt you would have sought me out if you believed I could not guarantee results.

A deceptive, too large, too sleek, smile appeared on the shadow's face; he paused in his steps and turned to face Ishinobu. A hand reached up and tugged on a strand of his curly hair. "Bing-gooo. Now let's hurry this up." The tone in his voice dipped into an intense command, a flood of aura rushed off him in excess, coating the monk and his temple in bloodlust.

Ishinobu twitched but this Contract Hunter had not be the first to drench him in the unsavory feeling. Though he had been the youngest to have such a dank, burning essence to his aura. It made him worry for the youth's future, especially considering the visage he had experienced with the man's blood. Ishinobu settled into a calm, his hands falling to the thighs of his crossed legs. "As you know my Nen ability: Blood Pearl, only works better with the target's blood. By giving me your own, you're hoping to find if "The Crows" will be in your future or not. Correct?"

The lean figure crossed his arms over his chest but maintained his smile.

Ishinobu's aura fluctuated, flowing harder around his body. The room was painted in a green light to any experienced Nen User. "The answer to that is yes. They will play a dominating role in the coming months. However, there will be others as well. People who are rooted you in a peculiar way. Like cheery blossoms grounded beneath its mother's shade. You and them are similar in that regard.

The aura dissipated and Ishinobu let out a heavy breath."Anymore than that and you'll find only confusion. The voice of the Gods is a messy one."

The shadow turned on his heel. "Thanks," he said, walking away. The saffron light of the entrance had begun to reveal his dark hair, black clothes, and pale skin. "You've told me what I needed to know. I have wings to clip ♪

Magde sat there on an airship that was going to finally take her out of Meteor city, she'd been saving money for a while to get the tickets. All she needed to do now was to wait for the airship to take off and her new life would begin. This was one of those rare moments where Magde could actually be seen smiling, if she talked to more people she might smile more often but this wasn't guaranteed. She stood up and stood over by one of the many windows and looked out at her home, she was so happy she'd be leaving, her hatred was so deep she'd actually gone to where she'd buried Scruff gotten his casket and was taking it with her. Scruff deserved a better burial site then this shit hole, she didn't know where she was going to put him yet though that was one of the things she was looking forward to the most.

What kind of beautiful places was she going to find? What kind of place did she want to put her best friend? She knew where ever she put Scruff it was better then here in Meteor city. She went back to the seat where she'd sat her things and sat back down looking down at a large sealed crate and put a hand on it. "We're getting out of here Scruff..." her smile weakened and she pet the box before leaning back up. She noticed a slight shake and suddenly she was off, the airship had taken off. The flight was going to be a long one Magde knew this much so she picked up her crate and her bag then looked for somewhere where she could sit and not be disturbed. The idea of going to sleep here and waking up in a new land was very appealing.

Eventually she found a fairly quiet spot where she could prop herself and her things up against the wall. It was close to one of the many turbines that kept the airship moving, the humming of the engine was actually relaxing and Magde found herself yawning in no time. She took one last look at her things before closing her eyes and trying to drift off to sleep.

Birdy

Throwing her head back, Birdy thrust her arms out and cocked her hip. ''Ah Ah ah, the taste so sweet, like sugar on my lips, ah ah ah'' aura drummed along her vocal cords powering her voice so that the crowd could hear her even without a microphone. She'd worked hard to develop a reputation as the world's most powerful singer. Rotating her arms around, she circled her hips and again sang out ''Your kisses, those sweet little thing, make me wanna call myself Misses. Marriage in the cards, babies in my arms, oh a future a future for us!'' She'd spent years training her voice to be a warrior, and now she's singing a ridiculous song about making babies. She didn't know why she did this anymore.

As she took a breath for the next line of the song, sudden screaming and applause caught her notice, and she was reminded why she did it. The adoration of the crowd, the love of her fans, the adrenaline from demanding people, oh how alive she felt, even if she did feel ridiculous at times.

Finishing up the routine, Birdy was exhausted. The middle of her tour, fourth set in a week, she needed a break. Kissing her palms she threw her arms out again, shouting to the crowd "MAN, I love you guys, I wouldn't be doing this without you! All my love, and I'll see you guys at the next performance right?" bowing, she trotted off stage, heading to her dressing room, already undoing the buttons on the side of the leotard she was wearing. The red sequins glinting brightly, despite the dim lighting in the backstage area. Coming around unfinished walls, she stepped into the alcove set aside for her dressing area.

Pulling the curtain closed, she tugged the wig off her head and began scrubbing the makeup off of her face. Looking into the mirror she finally saw her familiar face, no longer the glamorous singer, she was just plain old Birdy again. Pulling on a hoodie over her sports bra and some leggings she grabbed her xpod 3 tugged her headphones on and was ready to head home.

Suddenly her curtain was pulled away, a flustered stage manager looking in, clipboard clutched tightly to plump breasts. "Who are you? And where's Birdy at? The crowd wants an encore and we'll have a rampage if she disappears again!"

Birdy felt like laughing, why is it they always assume she's not Birdy? It's just a wig and a little make up. Shrugging, Birdy informed her "I don't know where she went. I snuck in here to get an autograph. But I haven't been able to find Birdy since I got back here. If you see her, tell her I said hi" Rounding her, Birdy began moving quickly for the exit, ready to take off if the woman had enough braincells left to figure out who she was.

Jerking the door open, nighttime air brushed her face. Birdy sighed, it was time to go "home" and get some rest. Clutching her hoodie tighter, she jogged out into the night, music blurring out the nighttime sounds.

Sora stared blankly at the yellowing pages of her notebook, almost as if she was in a trace. Her left hand moved like a blur, her pencil dulling out quickly due to the speed of the writing and how much she was writing. She remained in this state for a few more minutes until suddenly stopping, her hand freezing on the last period. Life slowly returned back to her eye, as she was now smiling faintly, although the bandage on her cheek made it hard to do so. Her left hand slowly fell to her side as she now held the tattered notebook with her right, proud of the work she produced.

Looking back up at her client, a simple man in a business suit who probably was heading to work in one of the bigger buildings of Yorknew, she began to recite what she wrote down.
"A-Ah, expect great fortune in your future. It looks like you'll get a promotion at your job, and accidentally spill some coffee in your cubi...cubi...cubicle? You'll look at your self in the main hall mirror and smile after work, before getting something to drink and then heading home to your wife. I w-wouldn't drink too much because it says that she'll make you sleep on the couch if you smell like booze." The little girl concluded as she closed the notebook carefully and hugged her tattered stuffed bunny in her arms.

The man said nothing and in return just tossed her a roll of money before quickly leaving. Sora could barely hide the smile on her face as she clutched the roll tightly and grinned.
"Th-Thank you, Mr. Generous Man!" She whisper yelled, waving slightly before going back to her profit, unrolling the money to begin her counting.

Beel stood at the wide clear windows of the airship. As it traversed the skies, heading towards the Republic of Padokea, he managed to frighten even himself in the reflection. His foxish red eyes and bored frown had made for an intimidating wall. The upbeat sound of the airship's music seemed to pass right through him; the indifferent, if not slightly worried countenance remaining strong. He rubbed his knuckles with slender fingers, few words resounding in the back of his head over and over, drawling on and on until it became gibberish to all but himself.

Unbeknownst to even himself, he had been leaking out waves of aura. A bloody aura poured out from a blinding source beneath his feet; one that urged everyone, quite literally paining those without Nen protection to stay away, lest they be killed off from his overclocked awareness.

"Crows, huh?" His fist tightened over the others. A gentle chuckled escaped him and he gripped onto the railing in front of the moving scenery. Finally, a unpleasant smile formed. "A challenge. I'm so excited that... That I think I'm scared."

The streets of Yorknew City was bustling, especially during the late evening when the moon was high above and the sun had sunk into the sea. Men of high stature mingled with their otherwise opposites. Street urchins and prostitutes sold themselves like pieces of merchandise. There were powerful men barring the entrance of a particularly popular concert hall and across the street from that wide-spaced arena was the beginnings of a shady deal. Not too far from the concert hall, two blocks up was the cute but dirty street urchin, Sora Weiss.

A shaggy haired man had noticed her blessings. The roll of money, that in her hands seemed far too large looked liked his own lost roll. Especially considering he was going to buy drugs with the roll he had lost all those years ago. A broken smile stretched his dirty cheeks to his ears as he limped out the shadows of an adjacent ally way. He paused in the midst of the rushing crowd, ignoring them ignoring him.

His tongue flew across his lips as he watched the vulnerable calf. He moved along the edge of the sidewalk with a mobility that betrayed his limp. Like a poorly trained animal he attempted to sneak upon her.

However, a young man with a cold gaze paused at the little girl. His silver hair, cut short and styled with obvious skill, only accented his wealthy appearance. "Aye, little sis, you ready to go or what?" he asked rudely, a stony look on his prince-charming face. It quickly evened out, far too quickly for that expression to have been for her. He glared at the homeless man a few feet from her. Daring him, challenging him.

No one seemed to care. It was as if the motto of Yorknew City was "ask nothing and care less"

The Yorknew Concert Hall's side-door was jerked opened to the parking lot. It was scarce with cars of all models, mostly four-doors in the hue of red or black, but some were vans, two were motorcycles, and one were a motorcycle with a side-car. The fence that locked them in were open, capable of fitting two vehicles side-by-side. It was there beneath a flickering lamppost that a cute boy bounced up and down on his toes, a plain glossy page held tenderly in his hands.

The young boy pointed at her and she could hear, even without her Nen, his faraway words. "Birdyyy!" he screamed suddenly. It's her, its' her! That's her, Daddy!"

If she would have looked hard for him, the tall man would had simply been next to the pajama-wearing boy. As if he had been there the entire time. He was a head or more taller than Birdy, looked to be in his late-twenties, and was very, very handsome. His hair was parted on the side, wavy and long in the front, but neck-length in the back. A chestnut in color. He shifted his head towards her and even from that distance, a near-painful intensity stabbed at her chest. As if daggers had been thrown from the shadows.

But alas, she would find herself unharmed.

"You sure that's her, Kinly?" his voice was cold but rugged, like a sharpened axe.

The boy of five years nodded furiously, giddy with excitement and controlled admiration. "Okay. Want me to come with you?"

"I can do it myself. Just don't leave. Okay, Daddy?"

"I won't leave. Go ahead."

Kinly started walking in her direction, head down and up at the same time; innocence painted on his face. His small hands tightened on the glossy paper and once he approached her, he held it out. A picture of her was on it and upon closer inspection, she would see the resemblance between the two figures. Where the taller man had stylized hair, the boy's was simple and uncut. Where the man's eyes were narrow, the boy's were wide with carelessness.

Kinly managed his biggest and widest smile before asking. "Can you... Hm? Hmmmmm? Aaah- Audo--Otto--" His once hopeful face became scrambled with frustration, a hearting-cringing kind. As if he had ruined his entire life by forgetting a single word.

The airship was cool with a synthetic breeze. Beneath them were lands unexplored and occupied cities. Forests with magical beasts and coves of treasures just waiting to be explored. However, their destination was the Republic of Padokea, home of Heaven's Arena, and the infamous Zoldyck Family.

A young woman with an interesting choice of attire, a green hoodie and dark brown jeans, strode pass Madge with a horridly dangerous bloodlust. Passengers five meters ahead of Madge were going into cardiac arrest, others were simply passing out without cause or reason. The young woman stood several meters from Beel. She blew the gum in her mouth up until it popped. On her lips was a snarl; her face, a monstrous frown. "You thought you killed him! You were wrong, now you have a target on your back, Beelzebu Farheart.

"Easy now, Gummy Bear. Don't be messy with other people information too. Besides I was just doing my job. I'm a Contract Hunter, your geezer was a contract. Can't you see the irony in all of this?" Beel asked with a smile, his hands pocketed, his feet loosely together.

"You're a horrible clown," she growled, popping her gum once more. "One that will be dealt with accordingly." She ran her finger across her throat venomously. "Off with your dome bitch!"

Beel surrounded his eyes with aura and spotted the tendrils of lilac aura attached to the unconscious bodies and airship walls and ceiling. They were holding tight to women and children, men and even a small casket. It was like a spider's cave had been discovered in pseudo-space. "You're right, I'am a horrible clown. I'm much better with punchlines." Beel agreed, his words finally fall into a dangerous finality.

Magde was sleeping peacefully until this excruciating feeling of pain overtook her entire body, she couldn't even move her body because of some force. All she could do was look around and even that was terribly painful. Her eyes scanned around the room in search of what was emitting this terrible power but all she could see were two people talking, she tried to drag herself away form them. Because whatever it was that was hurting her they were not effected, so they had to be the source. She ended up falling sideways making a thud as her body hit the floor, but she was able to start pulling away clinging onto her life by a thread. What kind of incredible power did these people have? Able to do this without even looking at her, it was terrifying.

This isn't how she imagined the flight was going to go.

Sora stared at the roll of money with a hopeful eye, unrolling the wad slowly with a childish giddiness. The somewhat quiet thumps that came from the bass of music being played elsewhere seemed to add to the girl's excitement as she pulled her knees up to her chin and tried her hardest not to crease the decorative pieces of paper that cost so much anymore then she already had. Unknown to her, however, someone was lurking out the shadows, in plain sight, ready to pounce on her currently vulnerable state. Her eyes had been too fixated on the money that it blocked out all sights.

"Aye, little sis, you ready to go or what?" Luckily for her, a man of obvious wealth had called out to hear, causing said girl to look at him with a wide expression. The cold look on his face betrayed his words for a second before quickly evening out for her sake. What was this man talking about? Was it some some sort of joke? Sora furrowed her brows before following the silver haired man's gaze over the man that was only a few feet away from her. Such a sudden appearance for her caused the girl to jump in surprise before quickly gathering her things hurrying over to the side of the wealthier man.

"...Y-Yes..." She stuttered, following in the act. She wanted to grab onto the handsome man in fear that the dirty man would try to chase her, but she didn't want to get his clothes dirty despite him helping her out. But the big question still stood...why was he helping her in the first place?

Birdy

As Birdy jogged through a parking lot that had scattered cars of all different kinds of models, mostly red or black 4 doors. She was was headed for the fence that usually locked the lot in. It was there beneath a flickering lamppost that a cute boy bounced up and down on his toes, a plain glossy page held tenderly in his hands. Though she could barely hear him, she caught him saying "Birdyyy!" he screamed suddenly. It's her, its' her! That's her, Daddy!"

Slowing down when the boy screamed, she didn't get a chance to see the handsome man in the dark yet. Not before she was suddenly gasping from an onslaught of pain. Her hands flying to her chest, she was bent over for just aminute as she sought the feeling of blades suddenly piercing her torso, but her hands found nothing. She was unscathed, her thoughts immediately turning to Nen and hunters who were looking for a name for themselves by catching an ex-Shadow Beast.

As she looked around for the source, she missed their further exchange, before seeing the man hidden in shadows, the boy from earlier approached her, his cute little face bright with innocence. Glancing back where he had come, her eyes picked the man out. Even in the darkness she could see his sharp narrow eyes, and cold features. In contrast to the boy's messy hair and wide careless eyes.

Seeing his giant smile would have eased Birdy's mind had it not been for the sudden intense pain from just moments prior. She was convinced the episode came because of the adult in the back so she kept her attention split between them. However, if the child were to make any sudden moves she'd be unprepared for that event. Listening as he stuttered out his sentence, the words catching and tripping on his young tongue "Can you... Hm? Hmmmmm? Aaah- Audo--Otto--" A painful frustration slowly stole his features leaving him looking like his puppy just died be cause he couldn't remember the word autograph.

Despite herself, Birdy chuckled and ruffled his soft hair saying, "You want me to sign your picture l'il buddy? If you can get your daddy to come over here I'd love to!" a forced cheerfulness thick in her throat as she sought a way to get him into range for a sudden attack if need be, and she had to be careful, if he did use Nen there was no telling if the picture had been altered in some way.

Glancing down at the glossy face she focused on her eyes, using Gyo to see if there was any Nen used on the sheet of paper....

Beel darted forwards, anticipating the young woman's Nen attack. The tendrils of lilac aura tightened, constricting with the passengers attached to their ends. Bodies of all ages, sizes, and hues were flung within the wide space inside the airship. Within his gaze, Gumi Kuma stood admist the chaos, face snarled with rage.

Beel barley dodge a heavyset man, though he artfully portrayed the luck with a sense of ease. He flashed charming smile at Gumi. To throw her off her game, he flipped and twisted in the air, grabbing children and women in mid-air before placing them safely on the ground, all while snipping her hold on them. Little by little, her fingers, which were tense and spread out in front of her fell loose.

"Losing your grip on reality are we?" he said before amping up his speed and appearing behind her.

"I was told you'd be the easiest to kill." he muttered, secretly encasing his hand with an intense aura of heat. "I didn't think it'd be this easy."

The glossy sheet was plain and was revealed to be nothing more than a piece of her merchandise. A image of her sold at every concert she performed at. Kinly giggled beneath her soft hand before looking to his father. He turned completely towards him, jumped up and down, and urged him over. "Birdy wants you, Daddy!"

"Cool," His voice was an echo in the empty lot.

He stood over his son moments later, placing his hands on the boy's shoulders and smiling at Birdy. "He was intent on doing this alone," he said with a minor laugh.

Kinly nudged his unmoving father and grunted. "She's going to sign my paper, right?" he asked cutely.

"That's entirely up to Ms. Birdy, Kinly," voiced the handsome man.

He looked up from his son and for a moment that edge in his eyes had returned. It was chilling and dangerous, filled with a malice that could only be produced by those who were dyed and suffocating in the darkness. His aura came to life very slow but as it did, the light from the lamppost several meters away seemed to darken.

"I would imagine she'd be willing to do anything for a fan. Including paying a debt she's overdue on. Afterall, we came to see her show, even bought this image of her."

Kinly looked between the two. First to his father than to Birdy. "Pleeeease, Birdy," he pleaded, holding out the sheet of paper to her.

The old man was no fool. He had known the consequences of going up against wealth and besides that obvious point, he had felt a genuine, almost primal fear of the young silver-haired youth in front of him. It was more than just social status that stood between them, it was a crevice as long as the underpass he slept beneath and as deep as his debt; far too deep for him to see the bottom of.

The silver-haired male, who looked to be in his late teens relaxed but it was hardly visible. He rolled his right shoulder, brought his extended fingers beneath his chin and flicked them towards the shuffling homeless man. "Yea you better scram," he said in a hushed tone.

Bending to a single knee, he looked Sora over with a critical, cold stare. He touched her chin with the side of his index finger, lifting it up. "Look me in the eyes, Girl. You're young so this sucks...but its my job. Don't move." he told her as he stood up and pulled out his mobile phone. He stepped but a foot or two away, keeping that cold gaze on her. His voice traveled the very short distance to her ears.

"I have her, Pops but why this little girl?" A short pause occurred. "She's from that dump? Meteor City, really?" The wealthy-looking teen chuckled before fixing his crimson gaze on her, this time it was a tad sharper. "Yea, you wouldn't believe how I bumped into her... She looks just like her. I think your plan'll change once you see her... I ended up saving her myself," he said much quieter.

"Huh!? You're joking!" he shouted suddenly.

"Seriously?" he sighed, shuffling the back of his hair roughly. "Fine, fine. I'll do it." He clapped the phone shut and looked Sora's way.

"You heard all that right? must be confusing but listen I'm going to take you to your home. Do you trust me?"

Gumi Kuma stood perfectly still. Beel could not find a single drop of worry radiating from her. That was odd, he thought. She smirked and that visibly irked him, his jolly expression fell into a grimace. "You find something amusing about dying, Gummy Bear?"

"Not at all," she replied quickly. "But I do find it funny when chumps like you mistake my level of skill. By the way, Beelzebutt, Did you know there's a meteorite on board?"

Beel glanced around with his eyes, suddenly unwilling to cut loose on the airship. "And I care why?"

" You can stop playing the fool anytime now. He's found your weakness, Beelzebutt. He's found your needle in the haystack. Now let see how willing you are to protect your giant freak!"

Beel was shaken just enough for her twitching finger to go unnoticed. A series of three people were propelled in the air. He watched the first three crash into each other with a sickening crack and meaty thump. The next three came towards him. He used Gyo to spot the lilac tendrils pinned to his clothing. When had she?

A moment of realization hit him before the people could. When I was saving the passengers. Shit! he cursed.

Beel leapt forward, sprung off the back of incoming passenger and allowed their bodies to crumple beneath one another. The last set wasn't a full set at all. A gigantic woman, who he assumed was his freak. A casket, small in size, and a literal chair was incoming for him at great speeds. They came at him in a linear order; the casket, the chair, and the tall woman. He fired his fist up, focus his Ren into them instinctively. The casket was the first to splinter open, a dead dog splattered to limbs and torso. The chair was to be next but it was swapped mid-way, the girl springing pass it.

Beel softened his Ren within a fraction of a second as he swatted her aside and repelled the chair away.

Madge would be a horrendous pain, nothing like before, for she was injected by a gentle, yet offensive dosage of Ren.

Gumi Kuma giggled while holding tight to the upper-ledge of a broken window. So high into the sky, the sudden disturbance had created a vacuum of air. Dead bodies, live children, and anything not nailed down were flying towards it. Gumi Kuma stared at him with malice, hoping, or perhaps knowing he'd die with the crashing vessel. She mockingly slit her throat with her index finger again before bounding out the window.

Birdy

Birdy felt just a tiny silly for being so cautious of the child, when the sheet of paper showed absolutely no signs of tampering to her vision. But that adult was still a problem, especially when the young boy called him over. Hearing that emotionless "Cool," sent a cautious shiver down her spine. She knew she had to be careful where she stepped.

Watching him come up and place his hands on the boys shoulders with a short laugh he told her how "He was intent on doing this alone," Watching the boy and his father interact had Birdy loosening a little, Maybe they were just normal people and she'd just imagined the chest pains? "She's going to sign my paper, right?" he asked his dad cutely. If that didn't just melt my heart. Cute tyke, I gotta be careful not to hurt him if my instincts were right.

"That's entirely up to Ms. Birdy, Kinly," voiced the handsome man. As the man said that, he raised his face, a dangerous look of cold waiting death was all Birdy saw. It reminded her of the Shadow Beasts, and sent shivers down her spine. I thought I was done with psychotic people like this already. Yet here I am, yet again. listening as he continued, "I would imagine she'd be willing to do anything for a fan. Including paying a debt she's overdue on. Afterall, we came to see her show, even bought this image of her."

Listening to his explanation, caused concern to spread in Birdy. And as the man slowly awakened his aura, the lights became dimmer. Birdy felt some sweat begin to pool on her forehead and at the base of her spine. She could hold her own, But this man was dangerous, and she couldn't risk a misstep at this point in time. "Pleeeease, Birdy," the boy pleaded, holding out the sheet of paper to her.

"Certainly, I'd never disappoint a fan!" Sliding her hand into her hoodie pocket slowly, she once again slowly drew out a black marker, hoping the dad would remain calm. "So, "dad" what is this debt you speak of? I'm just a singer and can't imagine what kinds of debt I could owe to my fans, they've always supported me and I do what O can for them. Can you elaborate for me?" as she asked the dad, she drew her own aura out, calm except for the slightest spikes. If this did end in a fight she wouldn't be caught unawares.

Sora continued to stare at the older man, his expression faltering in defeat as he scurried away from the both of them, the silver haired male shooing him with his hand at the same time. Was this what it was like to be rich and wealthy? The little girl couldn't help but stare at the taller boy with a wide eye. But as she realized she was doing such, Sora tightened her grip on her belongings.
"U-Um...thank you, Mister..." She mumbled out as the other bent down to one knee so that he was now around the same eye level as her.

His gaze was practically piercing into her soul, Sora had to look away. Unfortunately, the silver man wasn't having it, as he was able to turn her head back over with the side of his index finger, tilting her head up and inspecting her as if she was a doll on sale or something. Sora followed his gaze with her eye until she was told not to move in which she blinked in confusion.
"H-Huh...?' What did he want with her? Was it to repay him? Or something else? Sora furrowed her brows as she simply nodded and clutched her belongings once again, watching as the silver haired boy took out his phone and engaged in a conversation with someone on another line.

Sora eavesdropped discretely, picking up on things like 'I have her'and 'She looks just like her', and the only thing that accomplished was confusing her even more! What plan? Why was she apart of it? What made her so different from the other street urchins around? Unsure of if she should leave or not, Sora listened on only to jump in surprise when the man suddenly yelled out. Not wanting to question the odd action, Sora flinched when the silver boy moved back over to her, his gaze ceasing to dull out.

"You heard all that right? must be confusing but listen I'm going to take you to your home. Do you trust me?" Did she trust this guy? He did help her out from a rather scary situation...and it didn't seem like he wanted to hurt her. Plus she did have to head home since it was getting pretty late. The pros definitely outweighed the cons. "U-Um, I think I-I do..." She said shakily as she held out a hand for the other to take.

Magde would lay there still sorely pained by the display of power going on before her, she couldn't even understand how something like this could happen. She moved what little parts of her body she could, she listened in on the conversation between the two, not like she really had a choice. From it she gathered that this Beelzebutt had some kind of care for anyone who came from Meteor City, this was something Magde didn't care about, the other thing she learned was that this little girl whoever she was, was an ass hole beyond measure. She wanted to beat the living shit out of her but knew she couldn't, whoever this girl was her sheer power was something Magde couldn't even conceive. Magde's thoughts were interrupted by the sudden feeling of her being pulled, Magde managed to look ahead of her only to see she was being hurtled towards the man who was fighting the girl. But she wasn't the only thing, there was a chair and. This bitch was throwing Scruff at him!

Magde's eye twitched as she saw the man smash the create blowing the corpse of her best friend Scruff into at least 9 pieces. Her rage was so intense that not even the crippling pain of her being hurled at Bell who then blasted her with some Ren. She went tumbling across the floor only stopping when she came into contact with a wall, she hissed in pain as she looked up, her body was finally able to move albeit barely. She clawed at the ground as she watched the girl jump from the airship. Her arms buckled as she tried to pick herself up she was in no condition to fight, no matter how much she wanted to, so the next best thing she could try would be to gather up the remains of Scruff. Her anger made every one of her fingers jittery and twitchy but she still managed to crawl towards where all the pieces of her dog were blasted. Her eyes watered and then tears started rolling down her face, but she didn't make any sound, these tears were a mix of sadness and primal rage. Whoever this Gum chick was, Magde was going to enjoy scooping the eyes out of her skull with a rusted spoon.

The airship rocked and titled in the sky, sending the random, heavy objects of the room skidding forward. Furniture scrapped harshly against the ground, bodies groaned and screamed, while others were eerily silent during their chaotic jumbling. Beel watched, from the safety of an unhinged rail overhead. It was there, while he smirked with an odd sense of excitement that he noticed the girl he had smacked away.

So she's from Meteor City as well? she's a giant one isn't she. With a flare for the dramatic, Beel swung himself up, twisted in the air like a gymnast, and stuck the landing. He dropped down to a crouch and eye'd her. She was still up and at'em after getting smacked with his Ren? she was a tough one. More importantly was the fact that she was a meteorite like himself.

He was reaching out for the collar of her shirt when a loud alarm roared to life. It bellowed low and high until a voice cut through it. The voice was serene and calm, making it easy for the sheep to find solace.

"Everything is aye-okay everyone. We will be making an emergency landing in Yorknew City off the coast of Yorbia. I repeat, we will be making an emergency landing in Yorknew City. Until then strap in and ignore the turbulence best you can."

Beel let his gaze fall back to the pink-haired woman. "Looks like we won't have to jump ship. I had planned such an interesting exit too," he told the agonized girl.

The silver-haired teen smiled and patted her head twice. "Wrong answer, normally, but its a good answer in this case. Follow, I'll take you in my car."

The sky had faded into a even darker hue now. It wasn't that much later but it seemed that way. Close by was a sleek, silver car. It was the type that exuded wealth and danger, yet compared to the youth who entered its driver seat, the vehicle seemed more like a companion than a mindless object. The two was on equal-planes; both cool and sleek; both dangerous. He stood at his door, waiting for the little girl to get inside.

"Where exactly do you live, Girly." he asked, laying his chin in his folded arms on top of the vehicle.

"It must be nice to forget. Others are finding it much harder," he said, maintaining a sharp cool. What it is you owe. Did you think the Shadow Beasts were something you could slither away from? You could just escape. Your deeds have been tallied Ms. Birdy. Time to collect."

His aura was so dark and calm, so feral and focused that it took the light from around them. Only the moon was left before the trio and it was fading. The young boy disappeared from the scene, the paper in his hand falling to the ground.

"You look so happy now." Kinly said, his cute voice delivering a somber tone. But how can you when you're covered in blood? So much blood."

The man's En so powerful and perceptive that he was at ease in front of the Nen user. "Astley is the name of your assassin, Shadow Beast. I'll tell you now that no matter what you do, you won't beat me. Not with only your voice. So let me make this painless for you."

"Let him give your victims true peace," pleaded Kinly's disembodied voice .

Magde had quickly recovered all of the parts of her childhood companion and for the most part tried to ignore Beel. She very much wanted to squeeze the air out of him but she could barely muster the strength to maintain her grip on the doorway she was using as a support. The jumbled pieces of rotting carcass that Magde held would smell awful, the decayed flesh barely holding onto the bones that would remain long after the flesh had fully decayed. She watched Beel's fancy landing and her eye met his, but they were not full of amazement or gratitude, they were full of hate. Who the fuck did this guy think he was? He just scattered the remains of Scruff! Now he was reaching for the her collar, like she would let him drag her off. It was at this point where her rage finally overcame her injuries and she forced herself to stand, it would have been hard enough if the ground was level but that wasn't Magde's concern at the moment. She heard the announcement from the loud speakers, she wasn't landing in her originally planned destination. What did that matter? As long as she was out of meteor city.

"Who the hell are you?..." Magde managed to say in a rather weak voice. She felt so weak after talking but she wasn't going to let herself fall down or drop Scruff's remains. She tried her best to avoid looking at the many parts of her long dead companion but her eyes drifted to the disembodied head. Scruff's tongue lay out as if he were asleep and had forgotten to close his mouth, seeing this brought a tear to Magde's eye, this brief moment of sadness was quickly replaced with rage again. She would grit her teeth before speaking again "And who was that... Little bitch. Who threw Scruff's coffin at you?" This time her voice carried a much more demanding tone, but it was still weak. He gaze would then fall back onto Beel, her watered eyes burning like red hot coals.

Sora managed to catch a brief smile before her head was patted down by the silver haired boy. His words weren't exactly reassuring, but she really would like a ride back home.
"A-Ah, okay!" She stuttered, following closely behind. She unconsciously wondered what kind of car the other drove, and she couldn't help but smile when her suspicions were correct; of course it was silver. It had an intimidating feel about it, but she didn't dare speak up as she instead placed her stuffed bunny into the car before standing straight to look up at the silver haired teen. "From that conversation you had on the phone, it sounded like you knew where I lived...but I live in the outskirts of Meteor City, the v-very edge." She explained before taking a seat, her notebook resting on her lap while she eyed the clean car.

With one quick look over, she was flipping through her notebook and jotting down the current events.

"It must be nice to forget. Others are finding it much harder," he said, maintaining a sharp cool. What it is you owe. Did you think the Shadow Beasts were something you could slither away from? You could just escape. Your deeds have been tallied Ms. Birdy. Time to collect."

Despite herself, Birdy felt chills run down her spine as his calm aura grew. A dark chill that cut away the light started to fill the area, as it grew Kinly faded into the shadows, the glossy photo laying on the ground. His cute, albeit somber voice came through saying "You look so happy now. But how can you when you're covered in blood? So much blood."

Birdy felt herself flinch at the child's words, her guilt crawling up her throat. Were they right? Was she incapable of walking away from all of that, without recompense? As the man's aura grew, she recognized what he was doing, Preparing his En so that he'd be more capable of responding to her physical attacks. She was impressed, he wasn't much older than her, and was capable of this. The man continued, naming himself at last. "Astley is the name of your assassin, Shadow Beast. I'll tell you now that no matter what you do, you won't beat me. Not with only your voice. So let me make this painless for you." she knew if they kept cajoling her, she might just get pulled into this faceless death. And when that boy's voice came to her in the darkness with such a sad plea, she felt her knees go weak. "Let him give your victims true peace,"

She was tempted to concede, to allow them to do this. But the truth, she has seen so much death, and already knew that more death was not the answer to solve for death in the first place. No one was given peace through death. It only ever bred guilt, sorrow, and grief.

"This would give no one peace. What a foolish idea, to kill to bring peace to the dead. They're already dead what more peace could they have?" jumping backwards, as she focused her aura into her hands, she quickly brought them together, releasing sound waves that were heightened to a bone shaking amount. Without looking at them again, she tool off running towards the fence, jumping, she bent her body grabbing the top of the fence then flipped over it. Landing she continued to run, hoping to disappear into the darkness.
