"When I asked all of you here I wanted you to bring a catalyst, or rather something of historical importance, that will be what you use to summon something. If you have not I have...procured some relics for you to use. I believe you all have some quality to be useful in commanding a servant. Either it a large reserve of od, and mana or perhaps your personalities. Either way the summoning will be done in a hall used for practicing magecraft in order to prevent the principle from becoming angry with me. I will not wreck his office by possibly summoning dangerous spirits from some age, or another." Orson clarified as he waited for more responses. "With that being said the Grey Family is a nuisance. They're agenda caused breaks with us during the cold war and split pro-soviets, with pro-nato members. Their head patriarch was a pro-soviet supporter. I believe that he will not rule with a gentle fist." commented Orson as Leon raised his hand, "Sir why aren't you mentioning their names?" asked Leon as Orson sighed, "The short version is if you can place a name to a face you see them as human not a target. By cutting out the names I hope to make it less personal for you all with more of a conscious."

Esmeralda Reo Fola

Esmeralda sat on a single sofa with her arms and legs crossed, reading the situation from Orson's statement and from August's earlier statements about summoning Servants.

She snorts and whips her hair back behind her headdress. Mages are mages, I don't care what beliefs are going through their thick skulls. If they cast magecraft and bleed like a human, they're nothing but targets to add to my record as a Magus Hunter." She turned to the other mages for reactions, if she ever offended one of them she would return it with a fake smile, eyes closed and mouth wide, saying nothing.

I suppose one of your "students" makes a point. The sooner we do this, the sooner we get it done."

The situation was not exactly ideal, but that was to be expected. Teresa grumbled a bit to herself from where she sat but otherwise kept quiet. She ignored the provocative church agent and focused on the director's words. She found herself patting the bag containing her catalyst at the director's mention of them. If the legends were true, she was sure to have a very strong servant.

"I care not for who the Grey Family are if they are a menace balance of magecraft in this world. If they stand in the association's way then they will be dealt with. I am eager to get started director, no doubt the sooner we can prepare for this war the better." Teresa's eyes were hardened with determination at her proclamation. Once the summoning was done, things would change quite a bit for all involved.

As Anderson looked around and saw the others had some backbone he looked towards the small lad whom had been silent and asked him for an answer. The boy told him he needed more time to properly decide before Orson sighed and looked up at the assembled group around him. "Very well then. We will now move onto the next step. I have made arrangements to conduct the summoning rituals needed here. It will be done in the main hall. Be careful of what you have selected as your catalyst. I will warn you outside of those already assembled no one but the headmaster, and the needed parties have been notified. If this leaks and the true names of any of the individual servants here are revealed prematurely then you know where the leaks came from. Welcome to the Great Grail War...or perhaps that is a bit more premature? Come follow me." Director Orson said to the group plainly as he calmly moved from his seat, and grabbed a few objects from a nearby shelf before putting them in a satchel and moving towards the door. He told the group to follow him quickly.

The time traveling through the halls was quick and as they got closer to the destination the sound of music played on a piano sounded through the hall.

Orson's face inadvertently smiled as Leon looked at the man he wondered if Orson was really a close friend to whoever was playing that music. He grabbed at his own satchel and considered what life would now be ahead of him fully aware that it was now too far gone to turn back. Leon looked forward not back as he followed Orson. He hoped down in his gut that the despair he felt at becoming a master would be overcome by his desire to be an influential factor in humanity's future. More over than that he hoped that he didn't get berserker...he couldn't imagine such a fate ahead of him if he did. Unable to talk with his servant he'd be forced into a spot where he, as a master, would need to fully embrace the role unlike any other.

Orson took a quick step across from a hallway towards a dead end with only one door, and opened it to enter a hall where the piano music was resonating much louder. It changed in tune every now, and then but it was still peaceful, and hopeful. As Orson entered the music kept playing seemingly unaware of his presense in the piano seat sat a young lady with long brown hair wearing a uniform of a student. As Orson walked up to the piano he tapped on it, and the music stopped. The young lady turned to Orson and blushed embarrassed and chuckled awkwardly. "Hello is everything prepared here my student?" asked Orson with a calm voice as the young lady smiled at him and nodded. She spoke clearly, and with elegance "Of course Director! Again thank you for letting me take the job. I told you...I won't let you down!" She said getting up after closing a spread sheet of piano notes. Orson pointed at the group assembled. "OH hey! Sorry I didn't notice you there I...I suppose you're my allies then? Hello allow me to introduce myself.
Apprentice Mage! Junior Year Student! I am Monica Truman! Though I am not much to look at I promise you that you can count on me to do the just thing to the end! I am a fellow master of Black!"
Monica said as she bowed her head and body respectfully towards the group.

"I personally vouch for this one's excellence she's a bit of an idol in this school. And a personal student of my own. Let her petite appearance fool you not she is as a capable mage as anyone here if not more so. Now then...are you all ready? I have a spare catalyst ready for anyone without one. However I am under the impression that each of you brought one no?" Orson said as he pointed towards the center of the massive hall where all the furniture had been either removed, or pushed aside for the dozen or so magical circles made with silver dust lined around the room. "Yes sir I have one!" Leon said as he pulled up his satchel and pulled out a pot. "This is the ashes of a long dead hero. I hope that they are of worth as my offering to the cause as I am the master of the one who will be called from it." Leon said as Anderson chuckled. "Yes yes I have one right here don't cha worry lads! I will wait until we decide on who's going first. If no one else does then I will." Anderson stated calmly. Monica nodded and told the group she had hers in her pocket. Though she was pretty sure she was going to summon Caster because of it.

August Thane

Summoning Hall, The Clock Tower

"I've got a catalyst as well." August spoke up after remaining silent for the duration of the group's walk to the Summoning Hall. He raised his briefcase just slightly in his hand, to indicate where he was keeping his relic. "I'm expecting either an Archer or a Rider. I hope that doesn't conflict with anyone else's desired Servants. Now, I think I'll get to summoning." Curtly nodding to his teammates, August turned and made his way to the nearest circle. He was concerned that the girl from the church would become a problem during the operation, but felt it was pointless to analyze the situation before the Servants, key players on their team, had been established. Taking a knee at the silver-dust circle, August opened his briefcase and took up the relic in his hands. It was little more than a curved piece of light-brown driftwood. Only a series of equidistant nubs lining the outer edge indicated its artificiality. Physically, it was hardly something that could be expected to produce a Heroic Spirit, but August knew its history, and regarded it only with cold certainty and expectation.

He placed the relic on the edge of the circle and rose to his feet. Closing his eyes, he could feel the tremendous magical energy that flowed through one of the world's greatest magical venues. It was no wonder this place had been choses for summoning, as with the myriad of experiments and rituals happening in the building, he could almost taste the mana on the air. Everything is prepared perfectly. I am the final step. August opened his eyes, the chant he had memorized flowed from him, and the circle began to glow.

"Fill. Fill. Fill. Fill. Fill."
"Repeat five times, but when each is filled, destroy it."

"The elements of silver and iron make up the essence."
"The foundation is stone and the archduke of pacts."
"Black is the color I pay tribute to."

"Raise a wall against the wind and close the gates of four directions."
"Come forth from the crown and follow the forked road that leads to the kingdom."

"Heed my words, my will creates your body, and your sword creates my destiny."
"If you heed the Grail's call and obey my will and reason, then answer my summoning!"

"I hereby swear that I shall be all the good in the world!"
"And that I shall defeat all evil in the world!"

"Seventh heaven clad in the great words of power!"
"Come forth from the circle of binding!"
"Guardian of the sacred balance!"

With his final words, the now radiant light of the circle burst out and produced a cloud of fog.

In truth, it was a small thing, but for August, the whole world had gone white.

"Alright then lad let's get to steppin' alright? We got a summoning to do." Anderson responded to Thane's declaration that he was ready for the summoning sequence. He, and Leon sighed and moved forward. As they stepped into their own respective summoning circles Leon pulled out his pot and opened the top of it in order to make sure that the ritual didn't pick on the fact that he was using the ashes, and not the plain pottery as the offering to his ritual. Anderson on his part put a old scabbard on the ground which appeared to belong to a samurai sword. He also placed a sash on the ground alongside it and then resumed his old position in the middle of the circle. Leon breathed out easily, and calmly. He held his head high as he wondered just exactly what the world intended for him after this but as August, and Anderson began their own chants he started his own. He had no regrets.

Let silver and steel be the essence.
Let stone and the archduke of contracts be the foundation.
Let black be the color I pay tribute to.
Let rise a wall against the wind that shall fall.
Let the four cardinal gates close.
Let the three-forked road from the crown reaching unto the Kingdom rotate."
"Let it be filled. Again. Again. Again. Again.
Let it be filled fivefold for every turn, simply breaking asunder with every filling.

Let silver and steel be the essence.
Let the holy savior and the archduke of contracts be the foundation.
Let black be the color I hold the standard for.
Let rise a wall against the wind that shall fall.
Let the four cardinal gates close.
Let the three-forked road from the crown reaching unto the Kingdom of heaven itself rotate."
"Let it be filled. Again. Again. Again. Again.
Let it be filled fivefold for every turn, simply breaking asunder with every filling.
Let it be declared now;
your flesh shall serve under me, and my fate shall be with your sword.
Submit to the beckoning of god.
Answer, if you would submit to this will and this truth."

Leon, and Anderson spoke a similar, but different chant that differed from Thane's own choice for an incantation. Anderson's was long but he spoke quicker, and with a firm passion. Leon spoke with a firm but calm chant and the room shook as the incantations were responded to by the summoning ritual. The winds shook the area, and the od around the room became unstable as it began to shutter with the incantations. As the winds blew back in response to the ritual Leon was pressed onto his backfoot, but Anderson himself stood firm and unfaltering. The power of the wind may as well have been a breeze to him. As the luminous flash extended around them all two more figures stood in the circle where there was none before.

One was a blonde haired woman she was a lovely girl in her mid-teens, who had her body wrapped in fashionable Japanese clothing. She was wearing a Taisho style Kimono consisting a Hakama and long leather boots. Her hair was tied in a bun behind her head with a black ribbon. She was pretty, and she seemed to be ready to take on her duty. However she also has a armband the signified her as some sort of squad. She seemed happy at her summons and was ready for a mission. This one stood before Anderson and smiled at him.

The other was also blonde but she was different. In contrast to the other girl it may be arguable that this one was even prettier than the other. She had amethyst eyes and they almost sparkled with a radiant pureness. She was covered in a long black cloak with a cross on either side of the flaps. Underneath was an armored chest cauldron, and gauntlets. A sword clung to her hip and was sheathed in a ornate black scabbard of fine craftsmanship. While she wore a skirt that was slightly armored her legs were not. Her head was adorned with a strange head piece that clung to her head. Her hair was longer than the other girl's and flowed down her back. Leon almost felt his heart stop just looking at the woman she was prettier than anyone he'd ever seen in his life. He could only stare gawking at whom he had called into this world once more.

"Tell me sir would you be my master?" asked the girl in front of Leon with an earnest smile. Leon wasn't able to speak for a moment. But he quickly recomposed himself. "Yes...yes that would be me. I...I am your master." Leon stuttered out in shock as he looked onto his hand where a strange red set of three command seals had taken their place on his hand. "I have come to aid you in this fight my master. I am your blade that will guide you into a better future. I am your Saber." she said to her new master ignoring his stuttering.

"Hai! Are you my master! If so my lord I will fight tooth and nail for our cause!" the woman in front of Anderson said as he nodded at her. "Indeed I am! But it appears that things aren't as I was expecting them too go. Still it is a pleasure to meet a member of the Shinsengumi." Anderson stated as the girl nodded and formed a fist with her right hand and put it in her left. "I am the assassin class servant you have called for! Allow me to turn the tide of this war for our side!" called the girl as she looked around and saw Saber she stopped for a second in shock. "AH! DOPPELGANGER!" she called out in a shout backing away from Saber who chuckled sweetly and shook her head. "I assure you I am not a double of yourself. Though I do admit it is funny looking at someone so similar." Saber reassured the Assassin. Anderson however looked at the girl for a moment and then squinted his eyes.

He appeared to be studying the woman Leon had summoned. Then it hit him like a brick wall once he looked at the catalyst then the woman in front of him again. "By the lord in heaven...boy...where did you get those ashes? You stand in the presence....of a battle maiden...if I'm not mistaken you...you summoned a saint..." commented Anderson almost awed by Saber's mere presence which made Saber herself somewhat uncomfortable. "While I am a saint...I don't believe that I should be hailed as such please sir. Call me Saber." the woman said with a smile.

Teresa spent little time admiring the rituals as they started and quickly went to work on her own. As the circle was already prepared the only thing she needed to do was place the catalyst. Out of the bag came a sealed, red box. With a few quick motions with one of her carving knives, the seal was opened and out came the green piece of cloth that the Knights of the Round Table once wore. Placing it neatly in the center she then stepped away and started her chant.

Fill, fill, fill, fill, fill.
Repeat five times, but destroy each when filled.

A base of silver and steel.
A foundation of stone and the archduke of contracts.
Black is the color I pay tribute to.

A wall to block the falling wind.
Close the gates of all four directions.
From the Crown, come forth and follow the forked road to the Kingdom.

I hereby propose, my will shall create thy body and thy sword shall carve my fate!
Abiding by the summons of the holy grail, if thou dost accede to this will and reason answer me!
I hereby declare, I will be all that is good in the eternal world.
I will be the disposer of evil in the eternal world.

Thou, who is as unstoppable as the roar of nature, reveal thyself to the world!
Champion of knights and Lord of many!

With her final words spoken at first nothing seemed to happen, then from the void came the sound of heavy hooves, which got louder and louder until finally, a massive warhorse jumped into the circle from out of thin air. The warhorse breathed heavily, as if it had just run a tight race, and was covered in heavy, silver plate armor.

On top of the warhorse was her servant, a large looking individual in powerful looking suit of full-plate armor and helmet, making it impossible to see their face. In his hands was a large battleaxe with a strange decoration of holly wrapped around the hilt which inched up on the blade to entangle it. The power the servant radiated was impression but Teresa had a hard time figuring out just from his appearance and weaponry what knight he was suppose to be.

"I ask of thee," The figure started to ask, "are thou a worthy master?"

It was an unexpected question but Teresa had known that the unexpected could easily happen during a summoning so she was quick to respond.

"I must admit I am unsure, but I fully intend to prove myself worthy in the battles ahead! I can only ask for your cooperation on my quest." The figure reminded silent while his horse snorted for a moment and started to paw the ground with its hoof. She started to wonder if she had said something wrong but then the figure spoke up.

"A decent answer my master. I will look forward to testing your valor in the near future." The rider class servant descended off of his war horse, who gave one last snort before fading into a million small lights as it changed into spirit form. Teresa found herself having to look up at her servant which gave him an intimidating height advantage over her, of course as long as she had her command seals there would be no reason to fear the servant.

Archer of Black

Summoning Hall, The Clock Tower

"...You're my master."

The man in front of him seemed startled. The fog had only just cleared, but already Archer was on the edge of the circle, only a few feet away from the man who had clearly summoned him. He had wasted no time, striding across the circle as soon as his body had finished taking form. There were other Servants in the room already, and other Masters, but there was no doubt that the man he was now staring down was the mage to whom he was bound with a small smile. "I'm Servant Archer of the Black Faction." He stood about half a foot taller than his master, with an young athletic appearance, but his eyes betrayed a certain primal wildness, as though a storm were brewing behind them. "Hello."

The mage paused, seemingly taken aback by Archer's greeting, before responding. "Yes, I'm your Master. The proof is right here." He held up his right hand, which bore three command seals in the form of a jagged three-pronged shape. "My name is August Thane. I hope we can work together well, Archer." He extended a hand, which Archer clasped after a moment, sealing their contract. "Sorry if I've come off a little strong. It's good to meet you, August. I promise you won't be disappointed with my abilities," His small smile grew into a warm grin.

"That's good to hear." His master replied as he crouched down to pick up the piece of wood that sat on the ground between them. Archer watched his Master with some interest once he realized what the object was, but said nothing even as it was closed away inside a briefcase. Turning his attention to the room around him, Archer noted the others who occupied various parts of the great hall around him. In particular, his attention was naturally drawn to the three other Servants who had just been summoned. "Looks like a strong lineup so far... are those two twins?" August shook his head, "Unlikely. They look to be from very different lands. Anyway, come on." He moved back towards the entrance of the hall, where a group of mages who he quickly explained to Archer as the future Masters of Black and the Director were waiting.

"Just like I thought. I've summoned Archer," was all August said when he reached the Director and rejoined the crowd. Archer gave a bemused look at his Master's curt report, but remained silent as he waited for the rest of their faction to appear.

"An impressive achievement. Treat archer well his skills will be vital to support Saber, and the upcoming berserker. As well as taking care of the enemies who depend on close range combat. I am not sure which one you summoned but he looked capable enough." commented Orson whom stood stalwartly unimpressed by the summonings unlike Anderson. He had his arms crossed and simply stood his ground firmly. "The Faction Black welcomes you Archer." Orson said as he nodded at Archer. Monica smiled and nodded as well she didn't have much to say on the matter. She was still waiting for the others to do their summoning first so she could have her own. There were plenty of free circles but she didn't want to be distracted.

"AH HE'S A BIG GUY!" shouted assassin as she stared at the newly appeared knight in the room. She shivered, and hid behind Anderson who frowned at her, "Hey where's your backbone? I thought you were an assassin." commented Anderson as the Assassin turned pink in embarrassment. "I'm sorry where I'm from he reminds me of the Kensei! He's so big! I've not seen a warrior that huge in a long time! Saber's so petite in comparison." Assassin said pulling herself out from behind Anderson she walked timidly up to Rider, and bowed to him. "I'm sorry I meant no offense I'm...just not use to seeing men like yourself. That armor is not a usual thing where I come from. I apologize for my cowardice." she said as she suddenly coughed roughly. Saber walked over to her and patted her on the back with a concerned look. "All is well you have made no errors Assassin. Are you alright? Did your body not form properly in the ritual?" asked Saber with a gentle voice as she tried to look confident for her new friend.

"We are all Black Faction are we not? There's no need to be afraid we all answered the summons after all." Saber continued as Leon responded. "If what I'm reading from right her is correct her Endurance statistic is E...and I'm guessing she has a bad personal skill on top of that." Leon said as Anderson sighed, "Don't worry she may look frail but if she is one of the people I summoned she should be a ruthless killer when we need her to be." Anderson assured her as Assassin nodded firmly, "It may sound silly...but I actually have no real wish for the grail...I just want to fight this new battle of mine to the bitter end." admitted Assassin as Saber nodded. "I promise you we will live to see a new dawn Assassin. And Rider I am sorry I did not mean to ignore you. I am Saber it is a pleasure. You as well solemn Archer." Jeanne said kindly offering a hand to Rider with a cheerful smile.

Haneul listened to best of his ability during the briefing. There were an assortment of words that didn't make sense to him, but he felt as if he got the gist of what was going on. When asked if he still wanted to aid them in their cause the boy relayed that he would think about it for a little bit. Maybe seeing what some of their servants looked like would be a good idea to gauge if they could really do this? And that's exactly what the group of mages did, with Haneul following in the far back. Everyone else seemed so confident about who they were going to summon and in their overall powers in general. It was pretty intimidating, but if his parents thought he could do it, then he might as well try right?

Haneul didn't really have a preference for which servant class he wanted, as they were all fairly wonderful to him, so he simply watched as the others began to summon their own servants. Saber, Archer, Rider, Assassin...the list of servants was quickly going down. It was clear that based on what everyone wanted earlier, that Haneul himself would probably go for the Berserker class. Everyone strayed away from the helpful, but extremely dangerous class, and felt as if it would be better for him to take the class since he didn't mind. The boy quietly recited his own chant to himself, being mindful of the extra stanza he had to say before making his way to one of the free summoning circles. He quickly pulled out a set consisting of a dull disintegrating hairpin and a chipped comb. Setting his bag outside of the summoning circle, Haneul began his chant, speaking in his native language to ensure that he wouldn't mess up.

Let silver and steel be the essence.
Let stone and the archduke of contracts be the foundation
Let black be the color I pay tribute to
Let rise a wall against the wind that shall fall
Let the four cardinal gates close.
Let the three-forked road from the crown reaching unto the Kingdom rotate.

I hereby declare.
Your body shall serve under me.
My fate shall be your sword.
Submit to the beckoning of the Holy Grail
If you will submit to this will and this reason…Then answer!

An oath shall be sworn here!
I shall attain all virtues of all of Heaven.
I shall have dominion over all evils of all of Hell!

Yet, thou serves with thine eyes clouded in chaos
Thou, bound in the cage of madness.
I am he who command these chaos

From the Seventh Heaven, attended to by three greet words of power,
Come forth from the ring of restraints,
Protector of the Holy Balance!

Haneul sighed quietly before lowering his head. As he had expected to get some giant beast of a being who couldn't speak nor act at least somewhat humanly, Haneul could say that he was surprised to look back up and see a girl dressed in what looked like cyber goth style, with horns, fangs, pointed ears, and even a tail. She looked almost nothing like what he expected. The pink haired girl looked around for a moment with furrowed brows before her steel blue gaze landed on the boy in front of her.
"No way...are you my master?" She questioned, her sharp pink finger already beginning to prod at Haneul's body. "But you're so weak and sick looking...how could you have enough magic to summon someone as great as me?!" She shrieked before quickly coming to a realization. "Aha! Nice joke! You don't even have any command seals on--" The Berserker cut herself off as she was now standing close enough to Haneul to see past his blinding bangs and stare at the all too familiar red symbols dotting his forehead.

Unsure of what to think now, Berserker dove for Haneul's hand and pulled back his sweater to reveal his wrist.
"Just a little bit of blood should do." She mumbled, much to Haneul's surprise.
"A-Ah, please don't do th-that..." He mumbled as he slowly tried to inch his hand away. Of course he would get stuck with the oddball...

Esmeralda Reo Fola

Having created her own magic circle through chalk... much to her disdain... she kept herself in check, her hand dug deep into her satchel and took out a red fragment clad with bent barbs.

She gently placed it in the middle of the circle and took out what seemed to be a small notepad, squinting her eyes she would try to slip something out of her mouth but stopped herself at the last moment. She had thoughts about this, what if the whole thing didn't work because she was just a member of the Church and not a heretical magus? What if it did work and she would start straying from the Light? All these thoughts race around her head before everyone started the chant of their own... various catalysts found within the halls emitted some sort of energy she has never felt before.

She straightened up, reading from the notepad and catching up... slightly desynchronized with the others.

Let silver and steel be the essence.
Let stone and the archduke of contracts be the foundation
Let my great Master be the ancestor.
Let rise a wall against the wind that shall fall
Let the four cardinal gates close.
Let the three-forked road from the crown reaching unto the Kingdom rotate.

I hereby declare.
Your body shall serve under me.
My fate shall be your weapon that pierces through evil.
Submit to the beckoning of the Holy Grail
If you will submit to this will and this reason…Then answer!

Before long, her own magic circle started to emit the same kind of energy the others have, and a bright flash of light came to view... her Command Seals glowing just as bright. What remained was a tall figure, a red spear in hand and his bright red eyes staring down at Esmeralda.

The blue man bowed, his head held up high as he did so... an eye closed with a charming smile. "Am I to correct to assume,
that you're my Master?

She just stood there in disbelief, she just "created" a man... at least in her eyes.

Archer of Black

Summoning Hall, The Clock Tower

"Good to know you as well, Saber," Archer smiled and gave a cheerful nod. "The same obviously goes for you, Assassin and Rider. As well as..." He turned to the nearby circle where a very unusual looking girl had been summoned, "That boy used the extra lines for a Berserker, didn't he? I can't say that Servant looks normal, exactly, but it sounds like she's using full sentences." He glanced at his Master, who also seemed slightly confused by the display. "That's a good point. It looks like she's harassing him, though, so it's possible she just has a low rank of Mad Enhancement." Archer nodded, and looked at the other new Servant, who had been summoned in a chalk circle separate from the others. "That man, on the other hand, can only be Lancer. Which means we're just missing Caster." He glanced at the girl standing near the director, the only Master August had pointed out who didn't have a Servant yet.

Having identified the new Servants, Archer decided to call them over to where most of the group seemed to have gravitated, between Saber, Rider, and Assassin's summoning circles. "Lancer and Berserker! Come join your faction, won't you?" Facing the Servants near him again, he continued, "I myself do have a wish for the Grail, but let's not trouble ourselves with such things while the Red Faction still stands."

Monica smiled sweetly at everyone as she pulled out a small vial of poison from her own coat, and moved over to a summoning circle. "Are you positive that will lead to what you're looking for?" questioned the Director as he watched his apprentice move into summon the next, and final servant. Leon moved out of the way just to make sure he didn't do anything stupid as he grabbed the ashes of his servant, and moved to stand next to Director Orson. "Very well I will begin the last incantation." Monica spoke up as she spoke clearly, and with a forceful tone:

Let silver and steel be the essence.
Let stone and the archduke of contracts be the foundation.
Let black be the color I pay tribute to.
Let rise a wall against the wind that shall fall.
Let the four cardinal gates close.
Let the three-forked road from the crown reaching unto the Kingdom rotate."
"Let it be filled. Again. Again. Again. Again.
Let it be filled fivefold for every turn, simply breaking asunder with every filling."

Monica spoke aloud as once more a flash of prana filled the air. There stood a woman standing proudly in the circle she glanced at Monica with his long white hair flowing down behind her. "So you're the one who can break that accursed veil? Very well then if you are my master then my talents shall be yours for this war. I am Caster." the woman spoke with an authoritative voice clear, and powerful. But Leon felt unease as he glanced at her as if being near her was simply risky whoever the woman was she didn't seem powerful but Casters were clearly not to be underestimated.

As Saber looked around she saw that the final servant had been summoned. Saber saw that Rider made no attempt to shake her hand so she pulled away with a nod, and a smile before walking over to Leon and taking a place by his side. "Welcome heroes from another world. We are, as you know by simply being here I assume, a faction who hail the color Black as our standard. We will not allow Red Faction to win this war. For now take this chance to get acquainted once we're done with that we shall begin preparations immediately to move all of us to Poland. For now it would be best to understand just how well everyone treats one another." Director Orson announced as Monica's servant Caster spoke up, "Hmph very well then if that is what we must do then so be it. Just understand that I will not be bowing to anyone. I am a heroic spirit of imperial origin after all." Caster said with a self confident attitude as Monica told her that it wouldn't solve anything to be so rude. The Caster simply smirked at her master, "It is good to set up rules front, and center my dear." she said with the same tone putting her fingers to her chin as she looked over her master more thoroughly.

Saber nodded firmly at Leon, "Master! I will not hesitate to bring us victory! God is with us!" the Saber said confidently as she stood stalwartly, and confidently in front of her master who still was in a bit of a shock at summoning the young saint. "So...just to make this clear...you are the Maid of Orleans correct? I see your statistics are incredible, as expected of Saber, but more than that you were summoned from the ashes, and fit perfectly with the church's description of you as well." Anderson asked the Saber who looked at the other master who had approached them. It was the priest man called Anderson according to Leon. Saber wasn't comfortable giving away her name but Leon nodded and gave her the ok. "Yes the Maid of Orleans, and the one who saved France. That is I Jeanne of Arc. I pray that you, and I will get along well sir priest." Jeanne said bowing her head as Anderson got down on a knee, and bowed to her more formally. "No lass it's I that should be bowing to you. Your holy nature is an aspiration to beheld my lady. It would honor any noble christian to meet a lady of virtue quite as yourself." Anderson stated with respect as Jeanne blushed and told him to stand up, "Please sir though I may be a saint, as such legends tell, I consider myself my master's humble servant for the moment. There is no need to put me up on a pedestal. Please you'll embarrass Assassin if you don't stand up." Saber told him as Anderson nodded, and apologized for that.

"Master how am I suppose to take pride in you if you're bowing before other servants?" Assassin said disheartened at her master's behavior as the priest smirked and chuckled, "Don't worry I am no fool it is just that I read many tales of the Saints one of which being hers. You can't expect a man to not look up to an figure he respected growing up. I won't act like that further I promise." Anderson assured Assassin who nodded. Jeanne figured she should go stand next to the other servants who were gathering but she didn't want to make a crowd form. Though she did note Caster made no move to stand with the others.

"Oh come on! Just a little bit? I swear it will only hurt for a few minutes!" She continued to beg, now making grabby hands at the teal haired boy, who was slowly backing away. It was pretty ironic how Haneul was more frightened of this girl that he was of getting something a lot more freakish, but there was nothing he could do about it now. He could handle this, it might take a while, but he could do it. It was only when she hear her class name that Berserker halted her movements and turned back around only for her eyes to land on several other people she could easily point out as Masters and Servants. "A-Ah, coming!" She called out before looking back at her Master, who was flipping through a small notebook. She couldn't say that she knew what the other was doing, but they were just called over and it was no time to be anti-social! Quickly, Berserker grabbed Haneul's hand and intertwined with her own to the best of her ability and easily pulled the startled boy over with little leniency as Caster was being summoned.

Once they were close enough, Berserker let go of Haneul and placed her hands on her hips before grinning, exposing her fangs.
"Hello fellow Servants, Masters. It is I, Berserker, and my Master...um...my Master...what's you're name again?" She questioned, looking up at the boy with the blinding bangs. Seeing that attention was put on him, Haneul shuddered before bowing at a 45 degree angle.
"...H-Han--" He mumbled, but was quickly cut off by his Servant, who now had her attention elsewhere, specifically the beautiful lady-Servants that graced her eyes.
"Shhh shhh...Caster is speaking..." She practically whispered, resulting in the boy shrinking even more into himself as his and everyone's attention was forced onto the director at this point.

Like most of what's been said to him, Haneul managed to catch a bit of what was coming at him, but not everything. Berserker was too busy staring at the other Servants so he assumed that she wasn't paying attention, so he knew he would have to ask someone for clarification on what was just asked.
"Wait, so I get work with them? That sounds more like a dream than actual work." Berserker mumbled, but it wasn't like she was complaining in the slightest. "Let's go talk to that Saber and Assassi-- Hey, Han? Where are you going?!" The dragon girl furrowed her brows as she watched Haneul approached Archer's Master.

"U-Um...repeat wh-what Director say?" He asked, hoping his broken English was enough to portray his message. Berserker followed after Haneul and rested her gaze on Archer, staring up at him with furrowed brows. She remained like this for a while before raising a hand up to shake; she could only hope that her sharp claw-like fingers don't scare Archer off. Archer definitely not the first person she wanted to shake hands with, but she had to be nice to get close to the ladies, right?
"W-We'll...we'll be relying on...o-on you from now on..." God, it hurt her pride to say that, but she had no choice. Haneul clearly needed someone that would speak up for him, so she had to be positive for his sake.

August Thane & Archer of Black

Summoning Hall, The Clock Tower

August nodded as the Director proclaimed the completion of their faction. He wondered if Caster's regal disposition would pose a problem, but knew Monica would have to deal with her own Servant's personality. Saber on the other hand seemed like she would be very helpful, since she made clear she would be fine in the position of a Servant and also revealed her identity as Jeanne D'arc, a well-known figure who would certainly have a strong set of abilities. August surveyed the group, trying to pick someone to get better acquainted with, when-

"U-Um...repeat wh-what Director say?"

August paused for a moment, looking down at the boy who was the last person he would have expected to approach him. Ah, so that's why he barely said a thing until now. His rather flashy and odd berserker had seemingly followed him, and was approaching Archer, but August simply took a moment to consider the most comprehensible phrasing before answering, "He said we are the Black Faction and have to fight the Red Faction. Meet the others, then we will get our things and fly to Poland." He waited, searching the boy's mostly-hidden face for some sign of understanding, before switching from quoting the Director to more natural-sounding conversation. "I'm August, by the way. He extended a hand, "Since you were called for this war despite your age and the language barrier, you must be a very powerful mage. Where are you from?" It was an odd thing to say, but August tried his best to give an expression that made it clear he was only complimenting the boy for overcoming disadvantages to be where he was.

Meanwhile, Archer was engaged in an equally unusual exchange with the boy's Berserker-

"W-We'll...we'll be relying on...o-on you from now on..."

He was having some difficulty gauging the reason why she was so hesitant to speak, but her face gave him the impression she found it hard to acknowledge his value. As he shook her hand, Archer spoke, "Sure, Berserker. My range really is quite long, so feel free to call for my help when you're having trouble, as long as you're outdoors." There was no maliciousness in his words, yet if this Berserker's pride was the of sort he suspected it was, the idea that he would help her when she was in trouble might prove rather irritating to her. Still, Archer didn't want to make the group start falling apart before they even reached the location of the war. "You aren't a mindless warrior like most Berserkers, though, are you? That's a good thing, since you'll be able to work better with the faction." Archer spoke disarmingly, so as to avoid sending Berserker in to a rage befitting of her class. "In that case, I'll be relying on you, as well."

"THAT is our berserker? Pah...I was expecting something bigger. Still better that she has little mental deterioration...otherwise your lad would have issues Director." Anderson growled quietly to Orson as he took a look at Berserker, and his master. Orson sighed and nodded, "His parents were talented mages, and recommended him for his prana reserves. Not many people here want to risk their lives even for a wish for the grail. The boy is a decent enough student but he's not like Monica." commented Orson with a cold disregard for the master of Berserker. "Still little Han will not cause you issues." Orson said with a bit more confidence. Leon looked over to Orson, and then to Han and wondered just exactly he was capable of if Orson, the man employing him here, was basically using him as a battery. "Please sir have confidence in your people. We must be a unified force if we're to win the day. I would never have won, and become who I am today if I had not had a team of unified men willing to fight on my behalf. God willing we will all do what we can to win the day." Jeanne told Orson who nodded at Saber he was a bit more confident knowing that Saber was a skilled warrior at the very least. A woman who turned the entire tide of a war on her lonesome was hopefully worth her slot as Saber of Black.

"You know you're being too nice to him if he's going to fight in this war he should know that people will die. And people will die because of him, and berserker. I don't mean to sound critical but Han you need to have more confidence. I'm saying that so bluntly because if you think I'm rude how do you think Red Faction will treat you? Confidence is key like a pen you need to keep it moving otherwise you will just make a big black puddle on the paper. A mess is not what we need." Monica said as she looked over to the assembled group in the center. "If you don't have it in you then I'm not sure why you agreed to this. But before you say anything I'd like to apologize. I don't like being this mean to people. But our lives are on the line. I can't allow a weak link to break the chain of Black Faction. Even if we have a plethora of strong servants like Lancer, and Rider on our side. Or the skilled Saint of France Jeanne of Arc. Each cog in the machine counts."

Haneul blinked behind his hair, assuming that he said something wrong when the Master of Archer hadn't said anything to him yet. But once he finally spoke up, Han relaxed, following each word careful. When the information was condensed to just a few sentences, Haneul seemed to understand clearly what was going on seeing that he nodded slowly in understanding.
"O-Okay, makes sense. Thank you." He said before giving another bow of appreciation. Watching as the other extended a hand, Haneul instinctively grabbed it with his own and shook twice before letting go. "August...like the month?" He questioned. If that was the case then remembering his name shouldn't be a problem at all! When bringing up his talent as a mage and asking where he came from, a faint blush could be seen forming right where the lower half of his face was revealed. It was refreshing to have someone not just him at first glance. "A-Ah...thank you. Have, um, l-lots of circuits." He tried to explain his immense magic circuits, but it didn't come out like he wanted. "I am from South Korea." He then said flawlessly as he practiced saying such more than he would like to admit. It was clear that he was going to say something else, but Berserker caught him off guard...

---

Berserker really hated looking up at people; even with her heels, she was shorter than her own Master. But that was something she wouldn't fret on for too long. Instead her gaze turned into a scowl as Archer spoke up. It's exactly what she expected from the man, but hearing it come out of his mouth hurt a little too much. She had to rely on them. She had to rely on them. They were...comrades. She wasn't alone and they're here to help... After taking a quiet breath, Berserker looked back up at Acher and nodded.
"And if you find yourself in close combat and need a hand, I should be the first one you call for. Promise!" She didn't give Archer the chance to agree as she pulled her hand back just enough to interlock pinkies with him. She remained like that for a second before a large smirk formed on her face. That'll show how useful she is for sure! Berserker couldn't help but arch an eyebrow when Archer continued on and brought up other Berserkers. "Ha! Please don't compare an idol like me to those brutes. The only thing we share is class name and raw strength." She corrected him. She was going to say more, but an ever so quiet mention of her name caused the girl to lower her head. They tried to talk about it discretely, the Master of Assassin and that director, but that only seemed to annoy the idol even more. Instead of talking more to Archer like she had planned, Berserker was now hauling Haneul over to Anderson and Orson, staring at the both of them with an angry glint. "I'd rather you not talk about my Master and I, whether good or bad, in such a hushed manner." She said with a frown before her attention was brought to Saber, who was apparently sticking up for them. And while Berserker was staring at the Saber with googly eyes before, her face was the complete opposite of that now; all seriousness. It was probably because her pride, and Han's, was at stake.

Haneul remained quiet as he normally did, letting Berserker say what she had to say, It was clear to him that there was a small conflict or disdain against them going on, but it looked as if it was resolving itself via Berserker and one of the Servants speaking up. He had thought everything was fine until the Master of Caster spoke up, practically breaking him down in front of everyone. Some words he didn't quite catch, but even so, the context, tone, and overall body language of this girl was more than enough for Haneul to understand what she was saying.

He could tell that Berseker was pretty angry at what Monica had to say too, and why wouldn't she be? The other Master basically just said that they were the weak link of their team. Despite her eyes being a metallic blue color, there was an angry tinge of red that covered it. Han had to stop her, it wasn't worth fighting among friends...well, comrades that is. He could handle this much more calmly than she could. Thank goodness his now reddened eyes were covered by his hair.

Placing a hand on Berserker's shoulder, the red in her eyes quickly faded away as she looked up at Haneul curiously.
"I do n-not think you are rude...I think you look at m-me, um, p-personality only. Would not be h-here if not confident in power." He sighed...why did it feel like he's said something like this before? "Just because y-young does not mean I do not know about what I am doing. If you had faith in me, then you would not have to give me, or others, a stupid lecture. If you think...if you think we are weak, then you should focus on yourself first." Han concluded in almost perfect English and little stuttering; it was almost as if he had rehearsed what he just said. Berserker started at her Master in surprise as he soon bowed, giving a clear and concise apology for his words before turning away without an answer to go and retrieve his bag he had left at the summoning circle, said Servant following.

He really did feel bad for talking to back to someone like that, but hearing something like that so many times, it just got annoying. Why couldn't people just leave him alone and trust that him being here is enough to prove that he deserves this?

"Very well then...professor sir? Permission to show him what he signed up for?" asked Monica as the Director looked at Han wondering if he should let Monica do what she wanted. He knew she wouldn't hurt him too badly at the end of the day but her abilities were quite...intricate. "Do what you must." Director Orson decided quickly as Monica breathed out and with a quick latin phrase she clicked her fingers. Suddenly an intense pain as if needles, or sharp glass were violently jabbing outward from Han's insides engulfed his entire body in a seering pain. The spell seemed to override his magical protections, and circuits. He wasn't able to protect himself from the spell even if he tried. It seemed whatever spell Monica had cast was a curse. The pain was practically unbearable but before much could happen Saber stepped in. "I was hoping that whatever you were going to do that you wouldn't. But it would seem I had to much faith in you. Please cancel the spell now." Jeanne said firmly as Assassin had placed herself next to berserker in a quick flash as if a blur of light had moved her from her current place to berserker with her katana out she made sure Berserker wasn't about to do something she regretted. Caster herself made no movements but looked on with an amused chuckle.

"Some 'faction' were are already there is conflict like this? Heh it reminds me of my days at court. Almost. Still master release the boy it would seem he understands what pain is now in comparison." commented Caster. Monica nodded she didn't look like she was enjoying what she did in the least. She clicked her fingers on the opposite hand, and the spell vanished in a moment leaving only the pain that was already inflicted to fade. "Don't you dare act tough. Accept what you are just like the rest of us. We're people with flaws no one man is an island. We're a faction, a group of mages. You asked me to reflect on myself. I felt pretty angry so I took your advice and took it out. I'm sure if I did that spell on Mister Anderson over there I'd be dead by now. There is a valuable lesson to be learned that no matter who you think you are there is someone with something that can hurt you. I happen to be the Director's choice for Master of Curses." commented Monica dourly as Director Orson cleared his throat to prevent anyone from responding quite just yet.

"Monica is what you would call a prodigy in the field of curses. She's learned everything from Latin Curses of ancient Rome, to modern day voodoo. She may seem like a classical class valedictorian but she is far from a dainty little girl. Haneul remember who allowed you to become a master this day. It was I who gave you the chance. You were sitting like a child in front of a group of men, and women of experience today in my office and you failed to say a single word. If you think you get to talk down to others like that when you act so small before? Earn the right to step up to Monica. She spent every day of her life in the clocktower training on how to make herself a valued member to not just this school but to mages everywhere by exploring the darker aspects of magical energy. You were sent here on a recommendation from your parents. Though I suspect I may be playing favorites you can take this chance to learn from it. And a word of advice: If you wish to bark some more I will showcase what you're in for next." Orson chewed out the boy further before turning his attention to Anderson. "Release Berserker." commented Orson dryly as Anderson whistled at Assassin who backed off sheathed her sword with a quick apology to Berserker. "Orders are orders Berserker. Please understand." Saber offered a hand to Han if he hadn't already picked himself up. "Please allow me to help you. I'm sorry for what just happened to you. Don't hold a grudge towards them though. If you do then you'll poison the team more than they did. Besides if I'm guessing correct Caster is a poisoner if her catalyst is to be taken at face value. It is not wise to challenge someone like her up front. If we'ere to survive this war it is better that we work together." Saber said calmly she hoped that her words would not be rejected but even if they were she wouldn't mind. Her hope was that she could help if that was rejected than there was little she could do.
