Bio: Kyle was always a shy quiet kid, but nothing really seemed out of the ordinary. Then one day a group of girls thought it would be funny if one of them went up to him and confessed, to see his reaction. What they weren't expecting, however, was that it would cause him to have a heart attack. As it turns out, Kyle had a long-dormant cardiac arrhythmia, an irregular heartbeat. The sudden shock of having a girl confess to him was enough to awaken it and give him a heart attack. He had spent quite some time in the hospital being treated, and making sure it wouldn't be too serious so he could go back to school. Now he has to see the nurse every week to make sure everything is going well, as well as avoiding any big shocks, or overexerting himself, as they could lead to another heart attack, and could prove fatal.

"Estar a sombra da bananeira."

Roughly translated into "sitting under the shade of a banana tree" but to the Portuguese, it means that you have no worries. This was the type of attitude Giovanna was raised under. Born to Juan and Natalia Santos in the city of Manaus, Brazil. They lived in the country until Gia was about six years old and then they came to America settling in the Bronx of New York City, of all places. They brought along Gia's older brother, two younger sisters, and her Grandfather on her father's side.

The Bronx wasn't exactly the America that the Santos family had envisioned, so they packed up and left again to Manhattan. Here they made it along just fine, getting a small home and making it by with basic jobs. Gia was spoiled endlessly by both her parents as much as they could offer. She very rarely was in trouble, or told that she couldn't do anything she set her mind to. School was a challenge to the very absent minded Gia but with her great group of friends she knew she could make it through.

He his of medium height for his age range, while his body is more well developped than most kids at his school. He might not be described as incredibly muscular or broad, but anyone can see that well defined muscles hide under his clothes. On the first week of the school year, you might catch a glimpse of colorful clothes filled with small and original designs, while a few weeks later you'll only see him wear black and white. He's always at the top of his game and he aims to attract all eyes on him.

Something that might surprise you about Aaron is not only his sexuality, but how open he is about it. What most people are aware of about Aaron only scratches the surface of his personality. You can often see him as being flirtatious, having an incredibly rude attitude toward teachers, as well as pretty much anyone. He is described as being disrespectful, vain and arrogant. Pretty cold toward anyone he doesn't have an interest in, he appears to get bored rather quickly of people. But what most people don't know about the guy, is his love for books, movies and documentaries; his desire to always learn more. He his, at heart, an intellectual, even if he never shows it. The only people that might suspect it are his teachers; always impressed by his homework and essays. But his stubborn nature and his deep belief that this part of his is embarrassing, he will sometimes skip classes or even get a lower mark than he could have had on purpose, as to not reveal to the other students just how smart he is. A shame, really, because the young man as an incredibly potential. He also enjoys going to a lot of parties. He loves dancing, having fun, even the occasional drug. H I S T O R Y
Aaron grew up in New-York city with an American mother and a Brazilian father. The mix of cultures in his home gave him the opportunity to become bilingual at a very young age. Fluent in both English and Portuguese, he doesn't show it much and no one at the school knows he can speak anything else than English. His parents are incredibly wealthy; his mother is a highly reputed lawyer, while his father is a successful business man. This led the young Garcia to be raised more by nannies than his own parents. For most of his childhood and the beginning of his teens, he lived quite the trouble-making life. Even as a young kid, he would climb into trees and then onto people's roofs just for fun, making his nannies run after him or have them call the police... or worst: his own father. He would have done anything to get the attention of his father, even if it meant getting yelled at and sent to his room. So he would make trouble, as much trouble as he could. But as he grew up, Aaron realized that nothing could make his father look away from his business; it was the only thing that mattered to him.

High school changed everything for him. At home, he was more calm then ever, always hiding in his room. Most of the time he would watch movies, read books; things you couldn ever imagine Aaron Garcia to be doing. He also developed an interest for fashion and committed to it, knowing that his father would do anything to keep his son busy. meaning that he could get all the clothes he wanted and any car he wanted once he had his driving license. At school, he built a persona that, initially, was the opposite from him, but he eventually grew into it and today, the young man could probably not separate his made-up personality from his real one. It also did not take him long before realizing he was as attracted to girls as he was to boys. He used it to his advantage, flirting and charming as many people as he could into sleeping with him, propulsing him at the top of 'cool crowd'. His intelligence and knowledge doesn't go unnoticed by his teachers, but he hides it well from his fellow students. He went through most of high-school with some of the best grades, but always avoiding being the first of his class, as to know draw attention to his aptitudes too much. He could apply to any college of his choice, especially if he stopped purposefully getting lower grades than he can to maintain appearances.

Solana is a curvy, biracial woman, standing at five feet, seven inches tall and weighing in at a little over one-hundred fifty pounds. Her honey-colored skin is usually free of any blemishes, an exception being the vertical scar on her upper lip which she covers up with makeup. Her natural hair is curly, dark brown, and shoulder length. You'll usually see her with blonde hair, however, as she prefers to bleach it. Solana carries herself elegantly with good posture, long confident strides and her head held high. She often looks taller than her height of 5"7 considering that she's always wearing heels when she has the chance. Solana usually applies a full face of makeup in the mornings, therefore enhancing her natural beauty.

A textbook extrovert, Solana loves to chat and debate with other people, but isn't as friendly as she could be. Like her elder brother, she tends to speak her mind without thinking, even if it is some sort of insult. She is also very opinionated and slightly judgmental. In spite of all of this, Solana is only truly nasty when she's extremely frustrated or really dislikes someone.

Despite all of her shortcomings, there's no denying that Sol is extremely bold and dependable. Solana was born on January 1st in Brownsville, Brooklyn, the product of an unexpected and unwanted teen pregnancy. Despite being deemed "not ready" to raise a kid by her family, Solana's mother still decided to bring her "bundle of joy" into this world. She was very surprised to find that she'd been pregnant with twins. The twins' mother had much trouble affording clothes, diapers, and formula for her children. Solana's father had dropped out of high school and got a job, but it still wasn't enough to support all four of them. Long story short, the parents decided to put Solana and her brother up for adoption. The two were separated a couple of weeks later; Solana's brother was adopted by a couple from California, and Solana was adopted by a couple who lived in Bedford Stuyvesant. There, the small family lived in a small apartment until she was ten, when they decided to move to Manhattan.

Solana was extremely introverted growing up, and never made friends very easily. She'd spend most of her time, if not with her parents, in her room, singing and dancing around. It wasn't until she was thirteen that her mom finally convinced her to audition for her school's production of The Wiz. While her dancing wasn't as good, Solana's tremendous voice landed her the lead role. It was then that she began to break out of her shell. As she grew older, her acting and dancing improved, as well as her social skills. She soon started to spend more and more time rehearsing or hanging out with friends, and less time staying home. She also began to develop her own fashion sense, and by her Junior year of high school, was one of the more "popular" girls in her school. Things were starting to look up for her until the day her parents got into a fatal car accident, leaving the young woman alone.

Sixteen year old Solana, after her parent's death, soon began to spiral. She was put into the foster care system, her grades began to slip considerably, depression was a real bitch, and she began to get into more trouble than ever. Eventually, Solana just outright gave up and, after only finishing one semester of her senior year, stopped going to school. She'd even run away from her foster home, living with an old friend and working at a fast food joint until the feds found her and returned her home safely a few weeks later. It took a lot of convincing to get her to agree to finish the final semester.
