@Raddum Hehe. I had an even stupider idea originally, but considering you suggested the idea of frantically trying to jump through the hole, the former idea would put me on the Crowbar-Minus tier if I ever tried that.

Fun OOC facts. I just rolled to see who had the bad thing happen and the good, they were both the same person. Very nice!


So I'm guessing the good thing was the awakening and the bad was getting up close and personal with disgusting spider drool?

@Fury Panda Yay, I just LOVE spiders... D:

Quick Question: Not sure if this was asked already, but is there going to be any sort of catalyst for bringing out Personas? Like how P3 had the Evokers (is that how you spell it?), P4 had the tarot cards, and P5 had the mask-ripping? Or will it just be like "PERSONAAAAAA" and they show up?

@Tenma Tendo good question. I hadn't much thought of it. Any ideas anybody?

Could just be like in 2? Your persona is represented by a card with the personas likeness and such. When its awakened you could recieve the card, and than pull it out going forward. Feel like it would be interesting if it almost looked like a trading card or something magic the gathering ish.

I was actually wondering that as well. I know in 4 they had to confront the negative aspects of their own personalities, and in 5 they had to awaken the "spirit of rebellion" that resided in them. Whatever it ends up being, there has to be some sort of emotional awakening as well, right?

Serious input: Whatever it is it ought to fit the theme of the RP... Which is dreams, I guess. So maybe there wouldn't be much special about it to evoke them. Though, whatever Eden (And forward ahead, the other Crowbar Crew Members) shout out as a last word could potentially not only allow a Person to bust out, but after the first time it creates a small object relevant to the word, to evoke the Persona at will within the Dream Hour.

@Aislynn while this is a big part of the games. I think the reason it works is because you get a dungeon worth of time to flesh out charachters and for them to have small changes of hearts etc...in this RP i want everyone to have the use of their persona early. I would think it has more to do here with being willing to face the impossible and allow yourself to do things unimaginable.

I would think it has more to do here with being willing to face the impossible and allow yourself to do things unimaginable.


I think that in and of itself works. Even if the Persona just comes to them because it senses a strong resolve against impossible odds, that provides an emotion-driven reason.

So I think I'll go with Raddums idea.

Each person will awaken with a unique word and dream totem that relates to it. This will be a small item that relates somehow to your personality and willingness to do things that you feel may be imposible. It will only function during the dream hour, when held and the word spoken your persona will manifest.

It could create an object for those who don't have anything relevant on them, but I know for Eden's case, I could just make it her locket.

Very accurate. Pressure from the Persona within from the endangerment of the individual's life, driving them to shout out and unleash what they're capable of.

I like the idea of the awakening creating objects (way to go @Raddum!)

I kinda like the thought of having them in the real world too though. Obviously we couldn't summon Personas or anything, and the object might even change form during the dream hour depending on what people choose. But I think it would be cool if when they return to the real world, they each still have some form of whatever it is. Kinda proves that it all really happened, and gives them something physical to look at and contemplate when we eventually get out of the dream hour.
