Roman's eyes kept bouncing side to side. He eyed the soldiers' reactions and how Jonathan spoke regarding the situation. A sense of relief did overcome Roman once the sheriff commanded his own men to pipe down. Maybe he acknowledged that they were incompetent as well? Roman honestly did not feel safe when they came barging in while yelling slurs and accusations. If anything, the moment felt like police harassment. Roman wouldn't know much about it but he has heard a few stories from several ethnic individuals.

Roman clenched his teeth and hoped everyone believed Jonathan's words. There was a feeling of paranoia; however, there would be no other reason for the masked man to lie, right? All of the evidence matched up with what was said. Even then, the young teenager stuck his finger up. He tried getting the attention of whoever was listening.

"I can piggyback on that. I was here with him," Roman spat as he his finger shook. He flashed an awkward smile; he was trying too hard not to show his paranoia. Chucking, he kept talking without thinking. "You know, shit was gross. I threw up lasagna. Yeah."

Nunchucks crossed his arms when the masked man began speaking; his gaze did not become interrupted. Despite the mask, Nunchucks could give perfect eye contact to Jonathan. When he stopped explaining what had occurred, the sheriff scanned the room and matched it with the given testimony. The woman mentioned was still crouched on the floor; she sobbed and held onto her bite. Nunchucks then directed his attention to the kitchen.

The zombie was the easiest to spot. He snickered, finding it a bit ironic how this entire ordeal was started because of one possible undead. Nunchucks jerked his head over to the two bodies; he signaled to some nearby soldiers to discover if Jonathan spoke the truth. Nunchucks scratched his chin, part of him hoped the masked man lied. The incident of murder within a small town would only rise panic and suspicion.

Unfortunately, one of the soldiers clarified that the two individuals did die, not from a zombie bite, but of malicious intent. Nunchucks tipped his cowboy hat down. He took a few seconds to process the situation. Numbers began taking laps around his mind. Two dead bodies, one infected person, and four witnesses. Nunchucks heard the young teenager began mumbling. He calmly put his finger to his lip. "Quiet down, kid." The man scoffed and kneeled down to the woman. With a calm manner, he put a hand on her shoulder.

"It smarts, huh?" He gave a little chuckle that came off as innocent yet inappropriate. His tone showed sympathy for the woman. "I know it sucks; I promise that it will only get better. I'm sure of it. I won't let anything happen to you." The waitress looked up, her tear ducts began running out. A twinkle formed in her eye as she begun to see hope in the eyes of the sheriff.

"I will protect you, but I need you to tell me who did this to you. I need your help," Nunchucks pleaded. He grabbed onto one of the lady's hands with both of his. "Do you have any information? The woman wiped her tears with her arm.

"Thank you, Sheriff. Thank you. I-I don't recall anything. I wasn't in the kitchen at the time when-. When I came to the kitchen. they were already dead. Then IT came toward me and I-," The woman started sobbing again when trying to recollect what transpired. Nunchucks did his best to console the woman. He went step by step on what she tried to say.

Nunchucks stood up when he got the information he needed. Clearly, the men were murdered without the woman in the room. She didn't see anything. The sheriff patted the woman again on the shoulder. "Men take her to the infirmary. I want her to receive the best damn hospital care we got," he said as he put two fingers to his forehead.

The woman held her hands together as if she was praying. "Thank you! Thank you so much! You are too good for us! You are too good for-" Her sentence came to stop. Like that, she flopped onto the wooden floorboard. Her panicked voice was replaced by the crack of a firearm. Behind her, a soldier withdrew a pistol and put a bullet at the back of her head. Blood sprayed on impact and started to pool around her head.

Nunchucks breathed out of his nose and stared at the fallen waitress. He twirled his finger around in the air and sent a third of his men outside the restaurant. The sheriff then put his attention on the party of four. "Alright, now I know what you are thinking. Damn, this guy is an asshole!" He started waving his hands in the air toward their possible surprised reactions.

"You cannot tell me that you thought there was a chance of saving her. The salvia from that ugly mug over there already done spread throughout her bloodstream. Ain't no helping that," the sheriff shook his head. He then jerked his head to the side. The man made certain to give everyone eye contact. "Give me some credit before everyone calls me a monster. I gave her some hope to grab on and made sure she didn't know the Reaper came knocking."

"Now before anything is... "revealed" to the townsfolk, you guys need to know the story. See what I'm thinking is just giving them the "ol' zombie came up and got them" story. It's the best I got. I say we leave out the part about the slit throats and such. I don't want them running around knowing a crazy murdering lunatic is out there. Now that's scary!"

One of the men examined the dead woman's body. He placed the pistol into the woman's hand and forced her corpse to grip it tight. "Speaking of, this woman committed suicide. She very well could not live her life knowing she might become an undead walking cannibal. Taking one of the guns of my men, she put that bullet in herself. I know for a fact everyone will eat that shit up and no one will begin panicking. We don't want that.

The sheriff clapped his hands together and started making friction. "So I got some real good news for you guys. Now then, I can't really say I 100% believe your story. I just made up "my story" in a matter of seconds which gives me the suspicion that you might have made up "your story" in a matter of minutes or something. Is "my story" faker than "your story?" I don't know. But you guys look like honest faces."

"That's why I'm going to give you guys a little secret of mine. There have already been a few murders committed in this town. My men and I done a pretty great job at covering it up. So when I heard another murder came up, what do I find but four individuals? I been trying to catch the murderers red-handed and just when I think I did, they gave me a convincing explanation. A bit coincidental, right?"

"That is why I am hiring you guys as my personal Scooby-Doo crime solvers. I cannot have my men looking around for serial killers. Townsfolk will definitely jump on that shit. I'll also have my men keep a close eye on you while you party try to find me my murderer. And if it so happens if another murder is not made..." Nunchucks took off his ten-gallon hat. He snickered and flashed them a smile.

"...I reckon you guys are my murderers, huh? Nunchucks then directly spoke to Sophia. "You just got here so I doubt you're the murderer, but you could still be a murderer. It makes sense that eyes are already kept on you." He gave her a quick wink. "So does anyone have any disagreements or suggestions? My men and I just love hearing criticism."

Catherine watched as Nunchucks walked around inspecting the scene, soaking in anything that might be important. Catherine still hadn't seen what it looked like in the kitchen but frankly she didn't want to, death was such a horrid and permanent thing she found it hard to deal with. Catherine smiled as Nunchucks comforted the waitress, she looked so relived but still very shaken as she told Nunchucks everything she knew, she was then told to be given the best care they had. Catherine's smile vanished and was replaced with a look of horror as the woman's brain case was blown to bits in a spectacular fashion. Haha holy shit! Look at that, it went everywhere! Catherine was far to distracted with the spectacle to be bothered by Aranea's reaction. She covered her mouth and looked over at Nunchucks her eyes watering, why would he let this happen?

It was only after Nunchucks gave his explanation that she was already long gone, he just made sure she got sent there with hope in her heart rather then fear as her humanity was pulled away. She wasn't happy with it but she couldn't deny that he was correct, she just wish there was a better way to deal with it. She felt her hands shaking a little. Then Nunchucks was back to being sceptical of their innocence this made Catherine very scarred, what if he was going to have them all killed right now? She felt one of her arms spasm a little as Aranea obviously shared the same thoughts. Catherine grabbed her twitchy arm and kept here eyes on Nunchucks.

Then Nunchucks let his little secret spill, just when she didn't think things could get more messed up, it turned out that this wasn't the first set of murders that had happened. Nunchucks and his men have been covering up deaths for god knows how long. Catherine couldn't help but feel betrayed, Nunchucks the man she'd put her trust had been hiding things from her and the whole of Pallet Town. Admittedly it was probably for the best to avoid a panic but it was still bad lying to your people. The Nunchucks went a step further. Now he was a lair and he was crazy. What did he mean a Scooby-Doo mystery team? Catherine had just met most of these people and now she was expected to solve a crime with them while also holding up the lie that was being told to the public? The shock from this idea almost made Catherine forget she'd just watched this man order a woman's head to get blown apart.

Catherine tilted her head and managed to squeak out a question.
"S-so you want us to find this m-murderer? While also keeping t-their existence hidden?" Catherine paused for a moment and a grin crept across her face "Oh actually. Do we get to kill them after we find them?" Catherine's whole demeanour changed almost instantly after she spoke, no longer was she crouched or hunched. She stood tall and proud, all the while a malicious grin was plastered on her pale face. Her tone also changed from shaky and afraid to straight forward and slightly seductive. It was almost like a completely different person had taken her place, though this was only half true. Aranea was now at the helm, and she was really hoping she would get to kill the person responsible. She'd never gotten to end the life of a person yet, and she looked forward to the experience.

Honey

Interacting with:Everyone at the restaurant

There she was, staring at a familiar scene; a pitiful woman clutching her fatal wound, slowly dying. Honey felt skeptical when Nunchucks tried to comfort her, and for good reason. Seconds later a bullet was shot right into the woman. The shot of the gun startled Honey and she jumped slightly, but she wasn't surprised. She looked blankly at the woman on the floor, now dead, and didn't give it a second thought before turning back to face Nunchucks. She thought to herself, I mean sure, this guy's a real pig, but not for shooting the woman. Maybe it's pessimistic to feel this way, but Honey knew that the woman would die anyway. And there's no way that she'd have a zombie roaming around her new town.

Honey rolled her eyes and raised an eyebrow at the mention of a "Scooby-doo" gang. Seriously? Surely there are better things for her to be doing than going on a goose chase for some random killer who might not even be real. I wouldn't put it past him to give us a meaningless activity to occupy us with. She looked around at the strangers around her (except for Catherine who she knew) and sighs, Well, I guess these guys are my new best friends...

She hears Catherine speak with anger in her voice and murder in her eyes, and Honey shivers slightly at her need to kill. This surely isn't the same person I met just a few minutes ago. Honey jumped in to talk to the group and Nunchucks, "Yes I'm glad you mentioned me Nunchucks. I'd just like to introduce myself to the group since I did just arrive here today." She pointed to Nunchucks as she spoke to him as if he had reminded her of a task. "I'm Honey", she said this while saluting to the group in a joking manner. She stepped back from the center into line with the others, waiting to see what happens next. She knew for certain that this town would lead her to her sister.

Jonathan was surprised when Nunchuks seemed to care for the waitress. This was odd. While he knew that he, himself, would be entirely fine with seeing if she would turn or she turn out to be one of the Infected - but to see this leader do it... it felt wrong. He let his pipe hang on his shoulder as he watched. He was in rather close proximity with the waitress since he was close to Nunchuks himself. Seeing one gesture from Nunchuks - placing two fingers to his forehead - made him understand. He stepped away from the woman who was thanking him profusely before the gunshot echoed around the room. He saw that the spider girl looked frightened and didn't understand while the new girl jumped a bit but understood it. Since he saw it coming, there was little reaction coming from him - none of which could be seen. He did feel sorry for the woman. But, what must be done must be done. He knew that all too well. Unfortunately.

Jonathan looked back at the leader - his eyes devoid of trust. To think that they've been lying to the people. But it also meant that they wouldn't cause a panic. Jonathan forgot that that was one of the requirements of running a proper government. He wondered what would have happened should anyone have seen the dead bodies inside - aside from them at least. Jonathan was already used to it so it's not like he would suddenly just run out screaming that they weren't safe or whatever. He wondered how the others would react to this. He was more than willing to keep it as their own wrapped up little secret. He didn't mind it. Not anymore. But his heart still went out for that waitress. Poor girl. But at least she went off with a positive thought in her mind.

But then Nunchuks suggested something - no, ordered them to do something. An investigatory job? He wondered how hard this would actually be. Keeping it under wraps would be hard because it means they can't go around asking people about it. Jonathan rubbed his masked chin and then nodded. "Sure, why not?" It wasn't like they had any choice. He could bet his trusty pipe that they wouldn't respond too kindly - and that they would follow the waitress if they ever refused. Fine by him, he wanted to find out who was going around killing people willy nilly. This was part of his job before - even if he was a killer himself.

Spider girl asked an innocent question at first - but then turned murderous. He looked at her oddly, not that she could see, for a while before shaking his head ever so slightly. It didn't matter. As long as they could work together, it should be fine. He didn't mind being thrown with a bunch of people he didn't know. Jonathan was pretty used to it - especially after the apocalypse. Then, the new girl stepped up. Honey. What a nice name. He missed honey too - the sweet taste of it. Jonathan absentmindedly tugged on his mask which couldn't be removed without causing either his death or extreme pain - unless removed surgically.

Since no one else was stepping up for now, Jonathan cleared his throat - the robotic tone becoming more apparent when he spoke. "Jonathan McCallen. Uh, some people call me Johnny." As expected, there was no emotion in his voice as he spoke - just a simple computer-generated voice speaking for him. He couldn't open his mouth, after all. He supposed he should explain that. "I can't speak, so I have a voice modulator. Sorry if I can't talk with emotion. Robots don't have it after all, so this thing can't do it either." He pointed to his throat where the modulator was installed. He wasn't sure how it worked, but as long as it worked, then it was fine for him. "Nice to meet all of you. Hope we can all work together well." He then stepped back, holding his pipe with his two hands behind his back as he waited for the others to introduce themselves as well - or react to him.

Olive found herself following one of the officers, getting closer to the screaming with each step. She could feel the stress washing over her from whatever was about to be presented. Which made her stoo. Every few steps. To the annoyance of the officer just trying to do his job. First it was a "I forgot my gloves at the wall.." To which the poor man stomped angrily back to the entrance of Pallet with Olive. Turned out, her gloves were at the bottom of her bag..she hadn't looked well. She made this a slow process, keeping a good distance from her watchman. This made the man have to stop, wait, start walking, only to repeat the process every block. Then came the second excuse "I..i have no protection." The lead in this dance of patience, the officer, grunted. He turned and shot her a look of disgust, promptly replying by raising his nightstick from the belt over his waist and handing it to Olive. No..not handed..more like slammed in to her open palms in a fit. This whole patience thing didn't work, for either of them. They weren't a practical duo. A soldier deemed officer, and a jimmy rustled inventor. The whole procastination party from the wall to 3/4ths of the way to the diner took a good 30 minutes. Olive was out of ideas and finally quietly walked alongside her chauffeur. She needed to be nice, or at least proper, to get any chance for a walk outside these walls. The soldier, he just wanted to know what the hell was going on. Neither of them were going to succeed in those resolves. The duo found themselves on the outskirts of a crowd in hysterics, quietly nudging through bodies to get to the diner entrance. The officer tipped his head to Nunchucks and gathered by his side to get details of the scene. Olive slipped in to a booth away from the bodies and the conversation. She was not part of this. She didn't need to talk. The bodies weren't bothersome, she'd seen worse. The amount of living people in this closed space is what got to her, it'd been so long since she had her own posse, people that relied on her and that she loved. This wasn't that. So instead, she pulled up her bag and laid it on the table followed by ploping her head facw down in to said bag.

Roman cringed, his shoulders sank low when the sheriff told him to shut up. The kid did have the tendency to ramble. He was still learning how to behave in most situations. Unlike everyone else in the room, he was probably the most immature. Roman tugged on the collar of his shirt nervously. He didn't feel as though the woman should be receiving such treatment. Roman only had negative scenarios planned out in his mind.

In one second, she will lunge and sink her teeth into Nunchuck's neck. Boom! Pallet town is horribly fucked. Roman crossed his arms and kept staring at the exchange. He watched Nunchuks return to his feet and put two fingers to his head. "That's a weird salute. I wonder what he means OHMYGOD!" Roman's arms broke out and hanged next to his hips.

The boy couldn't fathom what had happened. Everything occurred so quickly. He witnessed a soldier plant a bullet in the back of the woman's head-- execution style. His hands reached his face, he could feel goosebumps start to appear all over his body. He lifted his head up and stared at the ceiling. "I can't look or I'm probably going to throw up. I can't look, nuh-uh."

Curiosity got the best of him and he peeked at the floorboard. He could see the woman's head opened up, exposing a large portion of her brain. Blood trickled from the wound. Roman held his hand over his mouth; he gagged for a while trying to control his reflexes. His body flung back and forth as his gagging continued. With some determination, Roman helped himself to calm down and not puke.

Roman settled down and took a few breaths. He listened to the sheriff elaborate more on the situation. The guy could definitely talk. Though having a logical reasoning, the guy still came off as an asshole. Roman blamed it on his young age given he must hate those with an authoritative figure. "Scooby-Doo gang? I mean, I guess? I just--Wow, this is not what I woke up expecting." The boy admitted.

He thought more promptly about the situation. It was horrible to think that he along with the three others were prime suspects in a murder. If that was true, what would happen if they did not find the actual murderers or murderer? Would they be executed the same like the waitress on the floorboard? Roman sighed, "If we manage to do this, can we leave the town whenever we want?"

Roman held onto his mouth, he wasn't sure what came over to him to start negotiating. He did not like staying inside the walls at all times. Even then, the news about The End certainly kept him in high hopes. Roman piped down and looked at everyone else's reactions. The spider-woman sent shivers down Roman's spine; her question regarding the possible death of the murder really put Roman on the edge. She probably did not seem like hugging type of girl.

Roman then saw the two other individuals speak. The normal-looking girl spoke first. She mentioned her name as this was her first day in Pallet Town. "Wow, this must be a horrible first day for you. So why do they call you Honey? Is it because your ass is so sweet?" Roman's eyes opened wide when he suddenly heard what he said out loud. Clapping his hands together, he apologized quickly.

"Sorry, sorry. Anyone-next? Jonathan-already-went, I-met-him-before. Crazy-guy. So-I-guess-I-will-go. My-name-is-Roman-Martin-Presley. I'm kind-of-a-huge-deal. Nice-to-meet-you-all. I-also-call-dibs-on-being-Fred." ROman spoke quickly and resumed his rambling. This was his poor piss attempt at trying to cover up his last remark concerning Honey's physical features.

Nunchucks stroked his bead and observed the party's reactions. They responded differently toward the woman biting the bullet, his monologue, and to each other. His eyes kept bouncing from one side to the other. It was almost like he studied everyone. Clearing his throat, he started addressing their responses. Some of them had questions while others--made too much noise for one person.

"Boy, you are the definition of featherweight," the sheriff growled. It was difficult to say where he was at with the young kid. He watched as the boy squirmed and gagged once his eyes met the woman's warm corpse. Nunchucks couldn't tell if the kid was amusing or just annoying. Jerking his head over to the spider-woman, he appreciated her response. Though he thought she almost seemed disgusted by the nature of the execution, Nunchucks heard her spoke.

She asked if killing the culprit was acceptable. Nunchucks released a soft chuckle. "Miss Spider, I don't care if you cut them up, put them between two slices of stale bread, marinated with mustard, and feed them to a rabid zombie. I just want them gone." His hands folded together to demonstrate a sandwich. He then held out his hands out. "But might I say, you have some serious bowling-size female balls. Probably more than some of these men that work for me." The sheriff laid out a compliment followed by some awkward coughing from the soldiers. They did not know who he was referring to; they immediately stood up with their backs straight and chests out.

The one wearing a mask did not move a muscle. There was no flinch in his arms or legs. Nunchucks could not even see the man's facial features because of the damn helmet. When the masked man spoke, a robotic voice emanated. The sheriff wanted to believe that beneath the mask and under the generated voice, that the man was freaking out. Maybe his face was wrinkled up and his voice started cracking? This was not the case though. Nunchucks knew that this man had probably seen some shit.

Afterwards, all of the party members began introducing themselves. Nunchucks leaned back once the greetings began; he could not help trying to doubt them. First, the new girl spoke followed by the calm-collected individual sporting the mask. Then the boy spoke. He definitely put both feet way down his throat. First was verbal harassment that resulted in only more rambling. Nunchucks then made his decision. This kid was in fact annoying. "Kid, what the hell is wrong with you? Where is your mother?"

"My-mother-is-dead."

"Alright, guys. I'm going to make my leave. I have other things to attend," he walked backwards to the door. "Go ahead and keep catching up. You guys have about 3 days to find the culprit." He turned around and pushed the door with his right hand. A little crack opened. "By the way, before I forget, I ignored you the first time, but it's a deal. If you guys can find me the murderer, I will let you guys leave and enter whenever." He grinned and answered Roman's question.

He nodded at the soldier who brought Olvia inside for the body. "Nice to have you working." He smiled at the woman. "Whenever you're done, maybe I have some more work for you." He mentioned.

As he walked outside, he was bombarded by several of the townsfolk. He calmed them down, explaining himself and what occurred before. Nunchucks thought about the party. He still considered them suspects. "That spider-chick and Jonathan seem way too comfortable with murder. Even the spider-chick suggested killing the culprit. Meanwhile, the kid said he met Jonathan before. So they aren't all strangers."

Honey

Interacting with:The Scooby-doo group

Honey made note of everyone who she'll be working with. Some kind of robot person spoke after her, he seemed well enough and she was sure that he was a no-nonsense kind of person, and she liked that. Next some little twerp, who didn't look much younger than herself, commented on her name which she was expecting. Sometimes she would almost curse her parents for giving her such a name, but always settled on cursing out the male harassers instead. She gave an annoyed look towards the boy, "Sure, keep sayin' that and you'll be the next one lying dead on the floor." This kid would not shut up and Honey was ready for the next introduction or something. She was surprised that Nunchucks scolded the boy, which didn't really change her opinion of him. It doesn't take a heroic person to scold a little shrimp like that Roman kid.

Honey wasn't really thrilled about being "allowed" to leave Pallet Town. She'll leave whenever she wants but she still needs to find out information on her sister. She knows she's out there and it's gotta have something to do with this town. Honey did catch a glimpse of a girl sitting in one of the booths and she was interested as to why she wasn't being dragged into this detective team. It doesn't matter right now, what matters is that Honey has this 3-day deadline to find the culprit, and to gather clues on her sister. She doesn't want to waste any time and now that the group was alone she decided to step up. "So I'm new here and I don't know my way around, but I have had experience with situations like these at my old camps and it's best that we get started early on this case. It'd be helpful though if anyone could fill me in on the ins and outs of the town so that I can help with catching the culprit." Honey looked around and crossed her arms waiting for someone to fill her in. Hopefully someone knows the secret places and sketchy people in this place.

Aranea frowned at the boys rambling, his voice grated on her ears bombarding them with words. She kept her focus on Nunchucks. She was very interested in what the answer was going to be, Aranea was visibly twitching as Catherine tried to get the controls back. Aranea's face may have turned into a semi scowl as she forced Catherine back down. Then Nunchucks presented her with his answer, a wicked grin stretched across her face as his response was exactly what she wanted to hear, his suggestion of making them into a sandwich wasn't bad either. She was finding it hard to contain her excitement "Not a bad suggestion, I might actually try that one." Aranea giggled a little, but it was far from a cute giggle, it was a sinister sound befitting of a demon. The giggle quickly ended but Aranea's smile persisted, "Thank you for the complement Nunchucks. Some people just don't seem to have a spine." Aranea was saying that to Catherine as well as Nunchucks. She then tilted her head three day limit. I can work with that. And leaving town might not be bad. Aranea also took note of Honey, she liked Honey.

Aranea sighed as Catherine again tried to get control, Aranea couldn't be bothered fighting again so she relinquished control. Catherine now back in command shifted to her usual slightly hunched position. Catherine then looked over at Honey who just asked a question.
"U-umm I think the others know more than I do. I-I don't know very much... But I could walk you around if you w-wanted..." she hoped Honey would just take someone else's answer, she needed some time to think about what was going on. And she felt someone else could far better give her the ins and outs. Catherine had been there a while but she'd not explored much of the town. She kept to herself not wanting to attract to much attention, or risk Aranea getting out into the open. Speaking of which she might be able to let Aranea out more often if she were allowed outside of the town, so there was some good to solving this murder aside form stopping a psychopath. The main thing that worried Catherine at this point was what Aranea was going to do once they found this killer, if they found this killer.

Roman Martin carefully took a few steps back. He pressed his back against the wall as the small woman spoke. He already apologized for his blunt comment about the woman's physical features though she definitely was not having it. The kid glanced at the dead woman on the floor; he began to imagine himself in that situation. His face turned green at the thought; shaking his head, he tried getting the negative thought out of his head. He would have to be careful with what he said from now on. He certainly did not know how these people would react.

He mumbled to himself like an infant. Afterwards, he listened to the woman of the group first. Honey seemed the most energetic on handling the situation as quick as possible. The spider-woman, on the other hand, was a bit confusing. She kept flipping attitudes like a coin. Roman lifted his finger to speak with. "I actually have an apartment located here. It's a lot better than most homes here. And it's appropriate for talking," Roman suggested.

He kicked the floor wondering if the people would decide it if it was an essential idea. Roman did not really have an apartment complex. The building itself was still just made out of scrap metal and wood; however, the structure proved larger than others. Roman invested a lot of odd jobs and other errands into providing a big enough home for him. Most homes only have one room with an included sleeping bag. Roman's house had three rooms with two mattresses. Just mattresses though.

Honey listened to Catherine switch personalities back and forth and raised an eyebrow to the contrast in statements. One moment she'd be nice and almost scared of the world, the next she'd be taking revenge on the world. Honey made a note in her head to watch out for Catherine, although she didn't think that Catherine would turn on her. Well Spider girl knew as little as she did, and Honey waited for someone else to offer up some information. That scrawny kid Roman suggested we all go back to his apartment to talk about our murder mystery adventure. While Honey was already over this guy, she had to admit it was a good idea. She looked around and realized that they had been standing around talking with two dead bodies next to them. A private apartment sounded much better than this diner that was beginning to smell of death; not that she wasn't used to the smell, just that she hated it.

Honey took in a deep breath, "Actually that's a good idea Roman. We should probably get out of here, and maybe get someone to remove the mess..." She trailed off and looked at the blood and guts covering the floor. "Catherine and I can follow you back to your apartment since we're fairly new here. And maybe you can show us around along the way." Honey swung her bag over her shoulder and headed outside, stepping over the waitress in the process.

Jonathan listened quietly to the group. Roman's first impression on Honey wasn't the best - considering his sudden comment about her ass. Ah, youth. He remembered that time of his life, though he rarely made any slips like that. It was mostly his friends joking around with the females of their class. Of course, they got the same reception as Roman did though less threatening and more of just a slap on the face and bad rumors floating around. Hm... he never expected it in this day and age though. But, he supposed that humans never really truly stray too far away from their nature even after all this happened.

He then looked at Honey and then nodded. It was completely reasonable to start now than later. In fact, Jonathan wanted to get started on getting away since he still needed to travel to 'The End'. And then Roman offered up his apartment so that they could talk a bit more peacefully. True, this place wasn't the best place to talk about this. Jonathan looked over his shoulder to see that Nunchuks had already left. Ah, of course. The boss had many things to do after all. He then moved away from the group for a little bit to look back at the kitchen. He let out a sigh. Shame. Truly a shame.

Jonathan walked back towards them as Honey agreed that they should go. It looked like they had a leader now. All the better. And the spider woman's name was Catherine. That's good to know. "There are some places where people slink around, form what I can remember." Jonathan offered up as he followed the group out. "I could take you guys there if Roman doesn't know where they are." He accidentally stumbled upon several routes while he was trying to find an isolated spot of radiation so that he could feed without being disturbed. He found none, but at least he found hidden routes here and there.

"Though trying to find a killer without evidence is rather... difficult, don't you think?" He questioned. Two people, killed with several lacerations made with a sharp object. A waitress who was bitten by a zombie. A zombie stumbling out of the kitchens where said two people died due to sharp objects. It made no sense. Who could be behind all of that? Who could lure a zombie inside without anyone noticing? Why did the two cooks die due to being killed with a sharp object rather than that zombie? Too many questions, too little answers. Jonathan was trained to kill, not to investigate. But, he supposed he could try. Hopefully, they'd have something to record their questions, answers and progress on.

Catherine was open to the suggestion of going to Roman's apartment, hopefully it would be large enough. Fatass. Catherine's face sunk a little when Honey said that "We're new here." Catherine had been here for years, she'd just not gotten around very much. "Y-yes, following you to your place sounds like a good idea." Catherine looked over at the man who's face was some kind of mask, she found his robotic tone disturbing and his lack of facial expression even more so. She wasn't the only unlucky soul in the word, not by a long shot. Catherine waited for everyone else to have gone through the door before squeezing herself through, it never got easier, you'd think after being half spider for so long that getting through doors would eventually get easier. But the fact that was that she was simply not built for doors.

Catherine would stick close behind Honey, possibly too close. She wasn't used to being out for so long, let alone seeing people die in front of her and being tasked with finding a murderer. Her ears perked up as Johnny spoke of shady places where some suspects could be lurking, it was a good place to start for sure. But Catherine really didn't want to go, if some creep showed up and tried something. Well she might not be able to hold Aranea back, and she wasn't ready to see what Aranea would do in that kind of situation. Plus it would be hard to go around town looking for clues if everyone was staring at the spider lady following you around.
"I-if we do end up checking these p-places. Perhaps it would be b-better for everyone if I stayed back? I-I tend to attract unwanted attention, and if w-we're looking for clues and trying to be d-discrete. Perhaps it would be in our best interest for me to stay hidden, o-or to split up and cover more ground..." Catherine's head hung low, she felt a little ashamed for even suggesting her not helping look around town. But her fear was stronger than her guilt, her arms curled up in front of her chest as if she was embarrassed. Wow. You really are such a massive pussy. It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

Catherine looked down at the ground not wanting to make eye contact with anyone. Catherine had wanted to meet new people for so long and when it finally happens it's under these circumstances. Finding a killer with no evidence whatsoever, life just seemed to be taken the piss at this point. Aranea found it amusing, she could really screw with Catherine if she played her cards right.

Prudence Olivia

Listening to the conversation happening around her, Olive wasn't keen on saying anything. There was nothing to be added for now, she would offer a soft laugh at the terrible name Nunchucks had given that poor crew though. The woman still smothering herself in her bag began to fumble in her pocket, pulling out some glasses and raising her face minimally to put them on before sitting up. She contemplated what to do at this point, the hysteria outside had just begun as Nunchucks had just left, and there was no getting through that crowd easily. To her never-ending bag Olive went, pulling out a pair of knitting needles, a rusted circuit board, and a small battery pack. All of which had been makeshift held together with old cording rope until she could do anything with this project. Maybe today was the day that she'd finally figure out what super heated knitting needles could be used for. Besides stabbing people eyes out and cauterizing the skin at the same time. She laughe again, this time louder, imagining this scenario playing out with the solider that had agreed she'd make a good prostitute. That'd never happen. Olive shot straight up out of her seat,"Nunchucks..." She'd race to the door, realizing he never made good on their supposed promise. Catching him as he was leaving the crowd, she'd calmly but firmly grasp at his shoulder and urge him to turn around. "Hey! You said i could leave for the day. I have shit to do. I NEED to work."

Roman Martin nodded his head enthusiastically. He practically found happiness that the group trusted him and his home. He thought it over and found that they might be too trusting. Hell, Roman could be a murderer and lead them straight to a murder sex dungeon. The kid snapped out of his negative scenarios. Having actual guests in his small home is a really a step up in his social skills.

"Yeah, we can go right now," Roman shook his head to the right, basically showing the direction of his home. He glanced at Jonathan and rolled his eyes to the ceiling to begin thinking. Pallet Town was fairly large enough to hide possible murderers. Roman did spend his time hiding and snooping around. He frequently participated in trouble. "Well, I guess if we combine both of our knowledge of this place, we may be able to create a map."

Roman shrugged his shoulders toward Jonathan. He then blew some air and whistled. "We might as well start going. The more planning we have, probably the more of a chance we have of finding the person." Roman then suggested they go out the back door as to not draw any attention to themselves. He proceeded to the kitchen, exiting out the back door.

Nunchucks was in the middle of speaking to some of the citizens of Pallet Town. Most of them came curiously to find out what happened. By observation, the sheriff could see some concerned faces. He began his elaborate lie that he shared with the group he accused of being murderers. The townsfolk kept their ears open with their heads nodding simultaneously. Almost as if they were completely brainwashed, they ate up everything that the sheriff said.

The sheriff then felt a strong tug on his shoulder. He peered over his arm and noticed the tall, ravishing woman from before. The authoritative figure rolled his eyes, putting a finger out to the crowd as he asked for a quick pause. His eyes showed annoyance given his entire explanation was interrupted. He pulled himself away from the populace to speak to Olive. He gritted his teeth, "First of all, I don't know who you are to be speaking to me like this. This is not the way how shit works. Secondly, I never said anything of the sort."

The sheriff tapped his temple. "Use that shiny brain of yours and remember my words exactly. I said if you do a few things for me that I might think about letting you go out. The most important thing you should acknowledge is the fact that you have not done shit for me."

The sheriff looked out into the crowd, hoping they weren't getting impatient. "You know a waitress position just opened up in the restaurant. You want to apply for the postiion?" He snarkily said.

Catherine followed close behind Roman walking on seven out of her eight legs, the leg that got ran into was still hurting and she tried her best to not let it touch the ground. She'd not want Aranea to make another appearance, she might have made her look bad enough already. Being so eager to bring death to someone. But alas Catherine had to stay on top of her pain, it was the catalyst that let Aranea get control the easiest, physical pain or mental stress were the main things that made her will snap. Physical pain was by far the strongest thing when it came to breaking her control, so Catherine tends to try her hardest to avoid it.

Catherine looked over at all the others while they walked getting a good look in, Jonathan was easily the one who intimidated Catherine the most. His emotionless face was indeed frightening, but she also felt the most sympathy for Jonathan. He to had suffered an unfortunate fate and had suffered some sort of damage via radiation. At least that is what she though, it was that or he wore a mask and had a voice modulator so he could intimidate people, if this was the case it sure as hell worked on Catherine. Aranea had different thoughts. Like what shit was this guy hiding, having no facial expression or tone in his voice made him almost impossible to read. This was a problem because it would make fucking with him far more difficult.

Catherine then diverted her gaze to Honey. So far Honey seemed to be a very kind albeit a little bit aggressive, of coarse she hadn't acted as if she would physically harm someone or anything like that. But she seemed to see Catherine as a powerful individual, Catherine wasn't sure how to take that. She had never really gotten into any fights and had no intention to do so. But overall Catherine was very happy to be able to call Honey a friend, it was shocking that she'd been around this town for as long as she has, and it was an outsider who finally let Catherine in. Aranea also liked Honey because she saw Aranea's strength, even if she'd not said it to Aranea directly she still called Catherine strong and by extension called Aranea strong. And her threats and sass were welcome additions, Honey didn't appear to be the kind of girl to take shit from people, Aranea could respect that.

Then there was Roman. He seemed nice, he was letting them all go over to his place. Again this was something Catherine had yet to experience since her life in Pallet Town began. he didn't seem to have a block between what he thought and what he says. This quirk oddly made Catherine trust him, he was a boy who didn't have anything to hide. This might be on purpose or he is just naturally unable to stop himself, either way she thought he was a good kid. Aranea on the other hand. She doesn't want the kid to have a filter because that would get in the way of her hand ripping his throat out through his mouth. How could such a small be so annoying? He vexed her in a way very few did. Catherine would be sure to hang around him more often, she had almost no way of getting back at Aranea for being so horrible. Of coarse she didn't like causing pain, but she can't help but be pleased when something drives Aranea mad.

She would then look at the building that was apparently Roman's home, Catherine was impressed. It was easily better than her own home which she was barely able to fit into, but she knew not to get to excited.
"Wow Roman, this is your house? You are a lucky boy." Catherine would smile at Roman with her surprisingly gentle face. Then she would still wait for the others to enter before she did herself. This was something Catherine always did, she wasn't exactly door savvy with doors, plus she was polite. "A-after you." She would say in a much quieter voice, she would also look towards the floor as others pass. This was another thing she always did, she was a fairly shy person. Especially because she was being forced upon these people.

Jonathan nodded at Roman's idea of creating a map together. If they managed to miss some, then they'd just have to add more to it. Now, where to start? Where would a murderer go? Leaving Pallet Town was very, very difficult. It's now impossible thanks to them having to investigate this whole murder case, so the murderer couldn't have left the Town. The population isn't too big - he's searched bigger way before - so this'll be quite easy. Or at least, he hoped that it would be simple to find this alleged murderer. Oh, he was becoming more and more excited about it. Despite its gruesome start, he feels like this would be a pretty interesting journey.

Now why would that be? Because he was grouped with these people. Roman was a lightweight for violence. He's puked when he saw the dead bodies. He was young, and probably haven't really left Pallet Town for quite a while. Or else that kind of thing wouldn't even bother him. Roman doesn't have a filter between his mind and mouth which might put him in trouble, like the incident with Honey earlier. He's a good kid, though, as he is offering his house to them so they could meet there. He'd like to see what Roman could do as a fighter. It might devolve into that while they were searching for the suspect or suspects.

Speaking of fighting, he thinks that Honey might actually be more than what she lets on. For her small height, no offense, she seems really fit. And she was a newcomer wasn't she? So that meant she came from the outside. He knows from personal experience that the outside was unforgiving to anyone who didn't know how to fight. Despite her rather blunt attitude, Jonathan feels like she was an excellent person. From how she took on the lead was something he could appreciate. Jonathan wondered where she was going after this and what her purpose is as to why she entered Pallet Town. But he wouldn't pry. They were all complete strangers to each other - acquaintances at best - so that was just impolite to ask what she was doing here.

Not all were unknown strangers to him though. The spider girl, Catherine, was someone he had been yearning to meet. She was a fellow Wasted after all. Her appearance, however, was more eye-catching than him. While he only had this mask to worry about along with his voice modulator, she had to worry about her entire body. And what seems to be an odd personality. But, honestly, she seemed pleasant most of the time. He'd wish to talk to her more, but this was not the time nor the place for that. Perhaps he'd have another chance soon, but he had to focus here. He noticed how she was not using one of her legs. Huh, now why was that? He'd bring it up with Roman later. It looked injured.

Reaching the apartment, he couldn't help but agree with Catherine. It was a rather nice apartment. He only slept on a bedroll with some others. Well, he had to sleep quite a ways away from the others since they weren't comfortable with them around. But it was still public space. Roman, though, he had his own private area. This must mean he's 'rich' in their society's standards. He looked at Catherine as she gestured for them to get in. Jonathan inclined his head in gratitude before he did enter. Wow, Roman even had a table that looks like it's in good condition. Quite excellent. He waited for Roman to come as well before going closer and then said, "Do you have any medical supplies? Bandages?" He then gestured over to Catherine. "I think she might need it."

Roman particularly showed a happy attitude along the way to his home. His arms swayed eagerly as he kept walking. Looking behind, he flashed multiple smiles at the rest of the party. Despite the population at Pallet Town, it proved a difficult challenge in finding friends. The whole incident of zombies and robots really changed people for the worse. Roman lacked the social aspect of friends. More than likely, the other three individuals probably wouldn't have agreed to enter his home if they weren't forced to work together.

Maybe Nunchuks did something good for a change. Roman looked up at the sky with much optimism. Taking another look behind him, he started thinking about his new comrades. They had their quirks yet they seemed like good company. Roman couldn't be too picky in this world. Jonathan was the first person that the kid met. Overall, his addiction to radioactive puddles was weird, but his other qualities made up for it. He does initiate action before thought as seen by his execution on the zombie. There was a lack of facial expressions because of the mask thus Roman identities him as calm and collected. Through his mannerisms, it does showcase that he has dealt with more dangerous situations. Like the guy did not even flinch at the sight of a dead body. Roman was overall fortunate that he wasn't hostile.

Roman met Honey during the zombie/kitchen incident. From what he heard, she was the newest resident of Pallet Town. Like she literally just entered the gates about a few hours early apparently. This did bring up a lot of questions once Roman began daydreaming. Who exactly was she? Her small stature did not stop her from speaking her mind. When Roman referred to her ass, she really made it clear that she was going to kick his ass. That's kind of hot, sort of. Honey already started calling the shots after Nunchuks left the scene. More than likely, the woman was going to be more serious and no play.

The last one was the most eye-catching. Radioactivity caused many deformations and mutations in certain individuals. Sometimes it proved to be a blessing and others a curse. Roman peered over his shoulder and turned back around once he saw Catherine. He already knew her. It was hard not to considering a spider-lady was a conversation starter for the town. This was one of the few times he was in close vicinity of the woman. Despite how everyone was scared of her appearance, she appeared tame. Like almost as scared of everyone else. Catherine proved polite and understanding of human life. Though she did have a few outbursts that were contradicting. It was perplexing yet overall she seemed cool to hang out with. Even then, Roman would probably still...

"Bang! We're here!" Roman shouted once they came to his hut. The building itself was constructed from various metals. It did not look homely if presented before the apocalypse. Nowadays, anyone would be happy with this structure. The door was just an easy turn on the doorknob. It was a narrow and tall frame. Opening the door revealed a thin red curtain, probably acting as a screen door. Walking inside, everything was on clear notice.

The mattress that Roman lied in was near the wall with a few pillows and sheets piled. Another mattress laid on the other side of the room. A coffee table stayed in the middle of the room. Various chairs surrounded the table such as a lawn chair, a stool, and a beanbag chair. "That bean bag chair was a great find!" Roman announced proudly.

Something then caught his eye. There were a few reading materials on the corner of the bed. He awkwardly yet attempting to be stealthy walked over to them. He quickly grabbed the magazines and stuffed them under his mattress. He looked back at the group as if nothing had happened. Roman even tried to start a conversation on the matter of hand. "So what is the plan guys? How are we going to catch this criminal?

Catherine looked at the narrow door with an amount of worry, she didn't feel she'd be able to get in."I-I'm not actually sure I can fit in this door." Her voice made it clear this fact distressed her, Roman was nice enough to invite everyone over to his house and she couldn't even get into the building and appreciate it. She reached on either side of the door and briefly tried squeezing in, but her efforts proved fruitless and she simply pulled out her stool and sat in the doorway. Faaaaaataaaaaaass. Catherine's expression didn't falter at Aranea's insult. She smiled form her position in the doorway."A-actually never m-mind. I can sit h-here." Catherine sounded a bit upset, but most of that was disguised under her shy stutter and her smile. This wasn't her first time hiding the fact she's not been able to fit in a door.

She listened to Roman's question, it was a good one. She had no real answer for him, she wasn't sure how to catch normal people so she had no clue how to catch someone who wasn't wanting to be found. She felt kinda useless, and just quieted down listening to any ideas the others would have. Catherine wasn't an expert on anything that involved other people.
