So uh... Hi, I'm Fiddlesticks, the only Middlesticks main in NA the person with terrible jokes! I'm uh... I'm new to roleplay, nor do I have much of a background of writing. I'm not sure if that's going to be a problem, if I could maybe try and learn around here? That being said, I do like DnD a lot, so I'm not sure if that counts as roleplaying.

I noticed the Tabletop stuff, but honestly, I want to try and avoid that. I love DnD to bits, but I wanted something less gameplay based. I dunno if that's a silly thought, or if I should just stick to what I'm good at or something.

I would find something story based then. No dice no stats, just imagination and writing.

Everyone has to start somewhere. Key thing is try to not worry about impressing people and just have fun putting ideas to words.

A little late to the party but I'm going to echo that everybody has to start somewhere, and new roleplayers are always welcome! In response to you wanting to avoid the D&D thing, it's not a silly thought at all. It's great to want to branch out into different forms of roleplaying/writing. More power to you!
