Was just about to post (sorry for the delay on my part too), but just saw the first part of Telma's post again and realized--- if Zelda is returning the Valley to the Gerudo, does that mean they lost it in the war? If so, I must've missed that part, I thought the peace they achieved meant both sides retained their own territory. Or did I just misunderstand? That's... entirely possible, it's getting late and being sick doesn't help my concentration...

Just checking, because it affects my post quite a bit!

Also, that sounds like a good idea re: moving on and letting the others jump back in when ready.

I never went into detail on how the war was ended. I mentioned that Hyrule gained the upperhand before both sides agreed to peace. Rolo securing the valley was the upperhand.

Wait, okay, so let me just make this clear, but--- The Gerudo Valley, in this case, doesn't equal the place where all the Gerudo live, where all their houses and fortresses are and so on... right? But just the valley that leads from the Gerudo territory to Hylia? So taking over that would essentially cut off their free access to the lands beyond.

Because when I saw Gerudo Valley, I thought of Ocarina of Time (I haven't finished BoTW yet, sadly) and assumed you meant the main place where the Gerudo live and went "wait what".

Correct! In this RP the valley is the same as in OoT-with the canyon dividing the two people and a bridge to cross. During the war the Hylians gained control of the Gerudo side. The Gerudo live within the desert, and Gerudo Fortress guards the entrance to the desert (same as in OoT). The Gerudo still control Gerudo Fortress.

So basically they gained control of the primary chokepoint, meaning from that point forward, the Gerudo would have an even harder time putting up a solid defense, even after a defeat big enough to push them out of said chokepoint.

Yowch.

Also, if no Drifter post tomorrow, I'll just skip him again. I can dredge up enough to have Roa react, but I'd prefer a little more than what's currently present.

I'm about to post right now. Sorry for the wait everyone, I've had a busy week at work and had to get up a pretty long post for the RP I'm running myself.

Okay, perfect then! I see how the area looks like in BotW too now, so that gives me a better picture. I was just confused for a sec there since I thought they'd literally occupied the fortress and everything, ha.

With that, I'll be getting back to that post once I wake up properly.

Done: Regicide is totally not a rash action, nop.

Left it pretty open, so a nudge to either direction will decide on whether she joins the gang now or goes with the "plan". Up to you, Product! Just let's not get her killed yet pls

It's fine, I was just tossing out a post to give you a heads up, and to reassure Product that we're not going to end up in another waiting-for-another-player loop.

@Z2010Deadmeat

He's with Telma's group, isn't he? He could climb down into the well, react to meeting Roa and/or Drifter, freak out over the corpse of the guardsman. there's plenty to be done.

@Z2010Deadmeat He could join Drifter's advocation for stealth with comment or demonstration of his illusion magics?

@Z2010Deadmeat You can also just have him observe and react, even if he wouldn't say anything. They found a dead person too, so that's definitely something to notice and react to.

We're waiting on Product to move the plot forward, or Dead to respond with Zwei.

Not sure what's going on, but I'm still here.

Edit: Something must have come up for Product, he's been off for three days, but things happen. Same with Deadmeat, actually.

Sorry for my delay. I had an unexpected trip to make. I had planned for the secret passage to act as the first dungeon, but at this point I'd like to move the plot to a more exciting locations. Is anybody against the map leading everyone through the sewers in one post, and then arriving in the castle? I'll have a post up after work tonight if nobody objects.

No worries man, glad to have you back.

Would you prefer I find a way to get Nadijah in with the others by now, or did you have another plan for her and Telma you actually wanted to see through? I'm game with whichever.

@Product

Real life has a way of sneaking up on you.

Well, I'm not against the secret passage being straightforward. (wouldn't be a smart idea to turn a hidden escape into a maze. people getting lost in an escape sounds like an invitation for disaster.)

I kinda want to know what killed the Guardsman though.
