UA Academy, the academy that taught famous heroes such as All Might, Endeavor, and Best Jeanist. It was considered Japan's number one hero high school, with its famous "PLUS ULTRA" mind of going over one's limits. It was, no doubt, a fact that any student hoping to be a pro hero in the future wished to enter this high school even through the fierce competition they'd face.
And Midoriya was walking to the main building of the very academy for the entrance exam. Bakugou ignored him, as always, walking past him, and he almost fell to the ground when a total stranger girl saved him from smashing to the ground like a total idiot.
Surely this was going to be a great exam.

Another presence walked among the students, eager for the entrance exam as everyone else. Hiems had his rather dull, empty stare forward, not looking for any unnecessary interactions unless he bumped into someone by mistake. He had crossed half the Earth and stayed a year for this test, and failing it would be a shame, and put all the effort to waste. At least he'll have other options available once he returns home.
But that was when he did fail- and he was going to concentrate on not doing so.

It became one of those days where twelve hours are the usual.
Nensu gave a shy smile to the people she passed in the hallways; some giving her flares of envy, others swooning and admiring, whom Momo had to roll to her eyes at the sight. Sure, Nensu may be one of the most attractive students on campus, both physically and emotionally, but she had to be kept an eye on. Momo volunteered to be the shorter girl’s handler, in case things get out of hand. Nensu may seem innocent and harmless, but she’s dangerous on a whole different level. Therefore she must be protected at all times.

The area for the entrance exam was just up ahead. And Nensu could hardly wait to see what the challenge would be.

The objective of the exam was clear, as far as everyone understood. Break as much robots as possible to gain points. Except for the zero point robot who's just sitting there messing around. For ones with destructive quirks it was no problem at all, in fact the best test possible. All they needed to do was use a bit of their quirk and go for an easy win.

Midoriya walked to his test area nervously, looking around to see if he knew someone-except Katsuki, who obviously was in the different area as he checked back at the orientation. He bumped into a tall foreigner-looking student, and flinched when his blue eyes lazily turned to him.
"Oh! S.. sorry!"
He shrugged and looked away. Midoriya let out a sigh of relief and turned to the gate. Could he control the power All Might had given well? He could figure it out this time, hopefully.

"EXAM START!"
Out of nowhere Present Mic's voice echoed throughout the areas. When the students stood frozen and dumbfounded he spoke again.
"What, you expected a starting bell? There's no starting bell out there! GO!"
With that everyone rushed to the courtyards, hurrying to get at least one more point available.

Nensu listened to Present Mic, before bringing her hand up to take a look at her palm. Momo looked down at her, in order to make sure she’s thinking clearly, but found her okay, after the girl reassured her that she was only trying to come up with a strategy for the challenge.

Just as the doors opened, she and Momo ran out into the courtyard, nearly bumping into a shorter green-eyed-and-haired, teenaged boy up ahead, causing something to come loose and fall off her person, and onto the ground: A necklace with a locket. Not knowing the object had been left behind, Nensu apologized, before she and Momo continued to run, until they skidded to a stop around a corner.

Hiems ran among the crowd and got to work. The air around him cooled down, and he ran past a handful of others with cold, visible vapor trailing shortly behind him. He cooled down his body, enhancing it, and eyed corners for any robots Present Mic introduced in the orientation. When he saw a 1p robot jump out of a corner, he lunged on it and ripped it into bits violently and mercilessly. He threw away a piece of its armor and looked around again in search for his next victim.

Midoriya saw a locket drop out of someone's pocket. He took a moment to pick it up, catching the glimpse of the owner's long white and red hair.
"Excuse me, but-"
Before he could call her out she was far away from him, skidding at a corner. Midoriya halted for a moment, conflicting between just going off to find a robot and continue chasing the girl. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. 'I don't really have a choice...' He thought and ran to the girl's direction.
"Heeeyyyy!"
He called out.

Once Midoriya turned the corner, Nensu was already freezing a 2p robot on the spot, after letting her hand touch the ground. From there, Momo created a mace to swing at the frozen prototype, and smash it to pieces. Just as Nensu turned around to see another robot, she saw the same green-haired boy she had accidentally bumped into earlier. “Watch out! Behind you!”, she said, warning him of the other robot coming towards them.

Running forwards to shield him, Nensu used her left side to blast fire at it, shielding the three of them, before quickly switching back to her right side, completely freezing it. She might get criticized by the observers for wasting her fire power, but she felt it necessary to protect her comrades.

Midoriya froze on the spot as he noticed the shadow of a robot fall over him. He slowly turned around, his fist balled up, trying to test his newly given power-when a wall of fire separated him from the robot. Midoriya paused, his hand dropping down. He gaped when a wave of ice came next, freezing the robot in place. What kind of overpowered quirk was that? He managed not to fall on his knees and turn to the girl.
"Y... you dropped this..."
He carefully pulled the locket out of his pocket and handed it to her.

Hiems was ripping through a 3p robot when he saw a wave of flames shoot into the air a few blocks away. He saw a girl shooting flame from her arm, and then proceeding to freeze it in the spot like a cube of ice. Hiems stared at his hand and gave away another shrug. Nobody could be best at everything.

Nensu turned around, once she heard the boy speak. Putting her arm down, and looking at him, she took notice upon the trinket in his hand. Her locket! It must have fallen out of her pocket when she accidentally bumped into him earlier. Gently taking it from him, Nensu held it close to her chest, keeping it close to her heart. The locket was special to her, having to be a very special that Shoto had given to her when they were kids.

For the boy’s generosity, Nensu couldn’t help but give him a kiss on the cheek; her way of thanking him for returning the one thing that was genuinely meant to her. “Thanks. Sorry for taking your points”.

When Nensu decided to give Midoriya a kiss on the cheek it shook the teen pretty bad. Never had he had a conversation with a girl, speak of a kiss on the cheek. His face turned redder than ever, his whole body stiffening and frozen on spot. He managed to give her a nod.
"I... it's okay... g... good luck on the exam!"
Midoriya yelled as he ran away to the opposite direction, charging blindly past few confused students who looked around for whatever that could've made someone run away and fail to find such thing.
It took a bit for the boy to catch his breath, but he wasn't calmed down at all. A girl, who was a total stranger, kissed him in the cheek just for helping her keep her locket. Unfortunately Midoriya's brain was barely functioning to notice that detail and was concentrating on what happened itself.

"TWO MINUTES LEFT FOR THE EXAM!"
Present Mic's announcement echoed throughout the test grounds. Hiems dug into his pocket and threw out a tiny piece of circuit that somehow ended up in there. He's cleared countless robots by now, though he still had some action left in him. He looked around and saw piles of scraps across the test grounds, the number of robots noticably decreased after everyone was hugrily after them.

Present Mic’s voice cut through the moment, causing her to quickly place the locket in her pocket, and continue to run with Momo. The boy was kind, and generous enough to find what matters to her, and return it. She guessed that by sort-of returning the favor, she saved him from a robot, that was about to advance towards him. Again, she felt bad to not let him get a chance to take it down himself, but again, it was to return the favor.

Running out into a clearing, the two found Heims in the distance, until she took notice of another robot up ahead.

Hiems saw a duo of girls running in a distance. He didn't take notice of them much, as he didn't think much of the people in the test for now-but rather the robots worth the points in the grounds with the people. Seeing another robot up front, he dashed and lunged at it, crushing the torso of the 1p robot. Before it could do anything else he reached for the hand and crushed it like a handful of tissue. When hejumped down the robot fell to the ground powerlessly.

Midoriya desperately searched for robots to earn points from, only to find them as a pile of scraps or be destroyed in front of his very eyes. As each second passed he got more and more desperate. Even though he had no idea how strong his newly given power would be he still needed a point. And he needed to pass this test no matter what.

In the midst of all the hunting, Midoriya fell a rumble on the ground. In the middle of the testing grounds, a giant figure rose- and when it fully did Midoriya recognized it very well. It was the zero point robot. He, along with many others, froze with fear. Most of the students started running away from it, as there was no point fighting it at all. It wasn't worth any points, and it was too big anyways.

Nensu and Momo watched as this other student single-handedly took down the robot. “Getting a good amount?”, Momo asked him, before the other girl turned around to see the zero-point robot behind her and Momo. Taking a few steps back from the beast, before getting her bearings together, and charging up her right side. However, up ahead, she took notice of Uraraka stuck in some rubble. Dropping her ice power upon her right side, Nensu ran towards the girl, and pulled the rubble that was easy to move.

However, there was a piece on the girl’s leg that was way too big for Nensu alone to lift. The robot’s shadow came upon them, as it got closer.

Midoriya saw the girl with her leg stuck under a large piece of concrete. He recognized her- it was the girl who helped him up back at the school gates. Midoriya knew if he ran for the girl he wouldn't make it in time, and the girl from before was trying to help her up. Then...
While the voices inside his head were screaming to stop, Midoriya was already in the air. One for All's power was strong enough to propel him high into the air. When he went face to face with the giant robot, he had no reason to hesitate.
"SMASH!"
Midoriya blew a punch straight at the robot's face. It crumbled and fell backwards, critically damaged by the power of the blow.
And Midoriya started the fall to his doom.

Hiems wasn't really the type to think. So when he saw a girl with her leg stuck in the rubble he was running before he took the moment to realize the green wall was actually a giant robot heading towards them. It was a bit too late when he did, as he was already in front of the girl, and another one who had arrived to help her. Hiems took a deep breath as frost covered his arms, and reached for the concrete debris.
"On the count of three."
He said.
"One, two-
"THREE."
His enhanced strength was enough to hold the piece up for a few seconds, which was enough for her to pull her leg out. He heard a sound of something crashing up in the air but decided to ignore it.

With Hiem’s help, Nensu managed to pull Uraraka out from under the debris, and put the younger girl’s arm over her shoulder to help her stand, shortly before she noticed the boy from before, leap into the air and give a mighty punch to the approaching assailant. He just seemed so timid the last time she took notice of him, but now, it seemed as though he became a completely different person; from fear to bravery, in just a snap. Was it because they were only in danger? Was it by instinct alone?

Nensu didn’t have time to come up with a logical answer, when she took notice of him, falling. Uraraka pulled herself loose from her savior, and ran towards him, as he fell, having to give him a slap to the face, and allow her quirk to gently lower him to the ground, preventing him for hurting himself even more. He looked exhausted, with his arm completely out of it. Nensu approached him, crouching by his side, and allowed him to collapse. She looked at Momo, almost bewildered on what she just witnessed.

Midoriya felt a hand slap against his face, and himself float in the air like the fall didn't happen at all. The girl he saved had decided to save him back. The girl let him fall to the ground rather gently, and threw up-probably because of her limit. Then, one thing came to his mind- he hadn't earned a point, not until then. He still had zero points. Midoriya took the time to look at himself. His legs and arm were completely destroyed, and he could hardly move them at all. When he desperately tried to move with his one last limb, a devastating announcement filled the grounds.
"TEST TIME IS UP!"
Midoriya went limp with despair. All the things he'd done, all the things All Might had done for him, has gone to waste. He failed.

Hiems wiped a drop of water from the molten ice off his forehead. He didn't break a single drop of sweat, as always-but that was a part of his quirk. After all the happenings the test had come to an end- now all he had to do was hope and wait for a positive result.

From a distance a short old lady approached the students, handing each of them colorful gummy for them to eat. She walked through the streets of the testing grounds and stopped in front of Midoriya. She lightly poked his forehead with her lips.
"Nice job everyone, now go home and take some rest. You, especially."
She said, emphasizing Midoriya.

Just like that, the test had ended. To Nensu, it didn’t even matter, especially since she felt so confused on what she just saw. She was even hesitant to move, when a shorter, elderly lady arrived, and gave them something to eat. For her to tell them to go home, she didn’t move from her spot, having to also refuse when Momo told her to. After choosing to stay behind, and help Recovery Girl escort the boy to the Nurse’s office in the main building, Nensu volunteered to also retrieve his things, while going to retrieve her own.

She even didn’t say anything to anyone while doing so. Dropping off the boy’s things inside the nurse’s office, she quietly left, in order to let Midoriya rest.

The first day of school at UA came, with Midoriya's surprise. There was a hidden scoring system not shown to the students-the rescue points. Luckily Midoriya got enough rescue points from smashing the 0p robot-and therefore he earned a place in UA high school.
Midoriya took a deep breath and opened the classroom door. He noticed a few familiar faces-the boy who showed quite some tension at the entrance exam, the girl he saved, and of course, Bakugou.
"Huh? Deku, why the hell are you even here?!"
Bakugou greeted Midoriya with his everlasting hostility towards him.

Hiems slowly raised his head to the sound of an opening door. Iida was in the middle of giving him a speech about respecting the upperclassmen who used these desks and trying to do something else than sleeping over it, though everyone's attention was concentrated on the boy that walked into the classroom at the moment. Hiems scratched his chin to the familiarity of the boy's green eyes and hair, and finally rang a bell after a few seconds of going through his memories.
"Ah, the guy who punched that giant robot back there. Nice job."
"Oh, th...thanks..."

Nensu was anxious in what the scores of the exam would be. She also wondered on who got admissioned and who didn’t. The thought left her awake for nearly the entire night, until she received the results the next early morning: She passed! Nensu didn’t know how, but it could be that she managed to get a good amount of points the day before. Taking the necessary materials, and quietly taking her exit from the house she and her siblings shared, Nensu walked down the sidewalk, and towards UA High School.

She thought she would have to find Momo, but then, she felt that she can adjust on her own. Nensu understood the risks when it comes to herself as a person.”, as well as the safety of others. However, she tried to give herself enough courage to proceed. Walking down the hallway, she remembered those that were being friendly, flirty, and envious from yesterday. Nensu didn’t say anything, but just gave them shy smiles.

Finding the right classroom, Nensu entered, and noticed a few familiar faces from the exam from the day before: Uraraka, Hiems, Momo, and Midoriya. Speaking of the green-haired-and-eyed boy, he appeared to be a lot more better than how he was, yesterday. Carefully maneuvering herself through the students, Nensu reached an empty desk that was next to the boy.

Midoriya had a light blush on his face when he saw Nensu walk into the classroom and take a seat right next to him. The memory of her kissing him on the cheek, which was the very memory he was trying to forget for the last night to calm himself down. He buried his face against his desk and and wrapped his hands around his head, desperately trying to hide his blush.
"Oh,h...hi..."
He told her.

Before they could continue their conversations any longer a voice rang from the door.
"If you want to talk more you can take your time later during break time."
A man in a yellow sleeping bag was lying on the floor staring at the students. The classroom entered a moment of silence at a sudden entrance of the man. He left the sleeping bag after taking a sip from a jelly drink from his pocket. He stood up, stopping a stop watch he had in his hand, and let out a light sigh.
"Right, it took you eight seconds to get silent."
He said.
"I'm your homeroom teacher Aizawa Shota. Now don't expect something like an orientation for the first day of school. I'm sorry to say this abruptly but gather up at the court with your gym suits on."

Carefully, Nensu places her journal on the desk, before giving a small smile towards Midoriya in greeting. The beauty of this girl made her look like an angel, or the pinnacle of the term itself. She chuckled, yet nearly giggled at the growing blush appearing on the boy’s face. However, before could say anything back to him, their homeroom teacher Mr. Aizawa spoke out.

It was rather quite sudden , but Nensu had nothing against it, having to remain quiet and listen to what he had to say. However, with his so-said sudden order, she only had to wonder what kind of test they had to pass. It wasn’t going to be a written one, but rather a physical one. Sometime later, with her gym clothes on, Nensu stood with the students, still curious as to what kind of test they had to pass.
