@ShiningSectorI'm definitely not throwing my towel in just yet but this is my first experiance with a forum RP and I'm finding that my personal life (free time) isn't necessarily compatable with this type of game. When work is slow I've been able to post from my phone but we've been quite busy. At home, I've got a 1 year old... nuff said there. Haha but I'm trying to keep up with the reading while I can so i can post up.

@Arthanus I honestly was thinking about having some sort of mention of Myra, assuming Silas is still broadcasting on the comms. But yeah the Hive assault is demanding more attention at the moment.

@ShiningSector Even if Silas wasn't Sven was being nosy and shit listening in because he can do that basically acting as our eyes and he did broadcast that on the open channels. But even timeline wise I think that wouldn't happen until a bit after your wave of hive.

@Athol Nice post! Love how Gerad dealt with his Slasher. I do what to point out that there were other critters coming his way as described in my post. I was curious if you indent to include that bit in too. Of course if the scene does appear too overwhelming, I can edit my post to compensate.

@ShiningSector Eh, here is fine. My idea was for Gerad to jury-rig together what is essentially a small and unstable FTL drive with 0 safety measures. Once activated (via QEC remote), it tries to 'jump' but instead just tears a chunk of Balrog into subspace before collapsing back into n-space with a hell of a bang. Between the 'jump' damage and said 'bang', the Balrog's already damaged systems then fail adding a reactor over load to the mix, the end result reducing the Balrog to very small pieces, shattering any nearby rocks and thoroughly ruining the day of the 3 Merc ships that are nearby.

(The QEC remote would be so that we could be sure we've gotten enough of a headstart)
