@Lucius Cypher Is Thokk close enough to the dead trog to be affected by the miasma and if so what roll is needed to resist it and what happens if it's too low?

I would say that Thokk would have seen the miasma form after the trig was killed, so up to you f you want to put him close enough to the trog to be effected. Otherwise I need a Constitution Save.

@rush99999 he would get adv but trying to do that would also mean he can’t do any other actions. He’d effectively use his standard action to give himself help for his save.

Whether Thokk takes damage or not depends on his armor class. Since Thokk has and armor class of 16 enemies need to roll at least a 16 to hit him. The two troglodytes attacking Thokk each attacked three times. Out of those six attacks, only three managed to roll a 16. These three attacks dealt a combined damage of 14 hit points.

As for the miasma, Thokk's fighting the trogs at the temple right? That's a good 20 feet away from the dead trog, meaning you're 10 feet out of the miasma's range. So I wouldn't worry about it.

@rush99999 Holy crap 5e barbarians can deal a lot of damage.

If I were you I'd just assume it hits/kills and that you get the extra attack from GWM. Just make it clear where everything is coming from. If it misses the DM can just ignore the respective damage rolls.

Hits and kills. Since you used GWM you have the option to attack again as a bonus action. Also when you roll for Advantage you’re better off just rolling two separate times instead of just doing a 2d20. Just for my convinence really.

Also noted for the Advantage.

Yeah you can proc it to save yourself from one attack, though the AC bonus won’t be enough to save you from the Nat 20 or the 22.
