Mia took a few minutes to finally recognize Trevor, but, once she did, she said all the things he'd expected her to say, to which, he responded "No, no, but I sure wouldn't mind some help, I mean, we should stick together, at least, right?" she then asked where they both were, and Trevor, after looking around a bit, did his best impression of a shrug, and said "As far as I can guess, we're in an enchanted forest in a world based around a TV show I hate," while this was enough information for the likes of Trevor, it probably wasn't anywhere near enough info for a careful woman like Mia. Trevor would have said something else, probably some sort of joke at his own expense, but, he instead listened in on the horse's speech... his ears twitching, Trevor noticed something... he KIND OF knew what that horse was trying to say. As much as he didn't like that thought on its own, with what he knew about the avali (and the other races from starbound, modded or not), he knew that he could be a translator for the two parties. Last thing Trevor wanted was MORE horses, this time, horses that used to be cool space raptors. "Speaking of sticking together, Mia, would you mind being there to help me in case things get a little rough? I'm going to try to translate for the two groups," Trevor asked Mia with the kind of seriousness he usually brought to missions involving the artifact, or saving the world in some way.

Hoping Mia was by his side, Trevor walked up to the group, hoping not to scare either side, and thankfully, it didn't seem like they were fighting, yet. "Hello, you guys, I can see that you're having trouble talking to one another, I can kind of translate. While I don't know what language the raptors speak, I can speak a language that their own translators can pick up, however, miss fire horse, I only know a bit of your language," Trevor explained to the group while he looked between the two groups, making sure he said that first in English, and second, as best as he can in the horse's native tongue, using that mental link thing to help him out with this.

Celina Letendre

What happened next surprised a bit Celina… all those people.. horses.. all arriving at the same time. That was a lot of people… but she felt a bit glad that it seemed that they were not hostile. She looked at the horse that had fire… and hears what she was saying. Her translator in her ear tried to react, but was unable to detect what language it was. Strange… usually it could always do the job for this. She looked at the creature that keep using different kinds of languages It was then that her translator reacted… but rather weirdly, having heard from bird sound ‘Hello big dumbo. What where it party now?’. Celina looked at the creature and then adjusted her translator.

“God dang thing…. Why is it not working right now.” She says in a low voice as she tries to setup the translator in her ears a bit before hearing someone else talking… then others… seemed like human language. At least there was one language she could setup.. and it seemed he knew their translator could pick that up.

“Ok ok… let see.” She says in her avali language as she think, working on her translator to set it to human speech as she looks at the… well… other horse that could speak human.

“Hello? I am glad someone else can talk something we understand here… although… I am wondering what she is saying… translator went in the frits when.” She says before her translator acted up again, a bit clearer, but still with issues, as if it was going far back in the database for this in long lost records that sounded more like bird talk. She heard the words ‘Hello’ as a word, but nothing else/ She stares just a bit.

“Ok.. now I just heard Hello… dang translator… working overdrive there and probably just lucky or something else…” she says.. where was those files even coming from in this case? She didn’t know, but she just hoped that they could communicate better, because right now, this was a bit ridiculous. At least she might have a base on what to work on for the translator when they do end up understanding each other possibly.. Cause that sounded way more normal then hello big dumbo….

DSS Audie Murphy

Lee listened to the changeling in passing as he began to move towards the door. <You may refer to me as Specialist Lee, or simply Lee for short.> The truth was that he didn't remember his birth name- the mind wipes had taken that from him, and for many years the only name he had was a number. The name "Lee" was simply an alias that he had used on undercover missions on Earth, but it was the closest he had to a proper name, so he stuck with it.

As he moved near the door, he turned around one last time, looking at the crewman on the ground. <I see...again, I give you my thanks. If not for your help, he would surely be dead.> And with that, he moved through the door, heading towards the vehicle bay.

Carver regarded the man before him, listening as he spoke. This "Captain Cloak", despite his primitive equipment, was apparently a survivor from one of the other ship crashes. As the man finished speaking, he began. "It's good to talk to someone in English. I tried to communicate with the locals, but I've never heard their language before. Anyways, my name is Sergeant Carver, and I'm the leader of this here group. We're trying to get our ship back up and running so we can get out of here, and we'd appreciate any help you could offer us."

Just then, the vehicle bay doors opened, and several crewmen could be seen pushing the dropship outside, Specialist Lee following behind them. Putting his hand up to his ear, he opened up a channel with Carver. "Sergeant, the crew's managed to repair the majority of damage to the dropship. Mind if I take it up?"

Carver looked back, and smiled. "Go ahead, Specialist." He then turned back to Captain Cloak. "Well, that took shorter than I expected. My second in command is about to take our dropship up, and hopefully return some more info on the other crashes. Uh...I guess you can stick around here for now, if you want. I don't have any reason to distrust you, so don't do anything stupid, and you should be fine."

Soon enough, the dropship took off, the nearby crewmen clearing the area. It climbed quickly, and was soon hovering over the ship. Switching off VTOL mode, it began to move over the forest, moving over the nearby crash sites. Anyone looking up would be able to see it quite clearly. After it had finished surveying every crash site, it began to hover over the area near the abandoned castle.
